“Julian and Jocelyn are the most wonderful hosts Brooklyn has ever had! My baby Brooklyn recently stayed with them for almost a week. From the moment we met for a meet-n-greet, I was completely comfortable with Julian and Jocelyn which is rare for me. I think it was a combination of their apparent genuine love for dogs, their experience with dealing with different personalities of dogs, and the fact that they asked very specific and thoughtful questions about Brooklyn, that put my mind completely at ease. During the stay, they spent lots of quality time with Brooklyn, took her to the park regularly, and had plenty of cuddle time with her. I was afraid that Brooklyn would not want to come home afterwards! As well, Julian and Jocelyn were very attentive to Brooklyn, sent very detailed updates about Brooklyn's day and when they noticed Brooklyn was licking her romp a little more than usual they immediately brought it to my attention. In addition to being great hosts to Brooklyn, this couple was also more than accommodating with drop off and pick up. I was traveling to an area with impending threat of Hurricane Mathew and my travel plan was up in the air the day before my planned departure. Julian and Jocelyn were totally understanding and remained flexible with the drop off and pick up time/ date which was super helpful. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about this couple as they have been amazing throughout this experience. In fact, this has been the first trip during which I have not had some kind of panic attacks due to lack of communication with Brooklyn's host, which makes the vacation that much better. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to leave Brooklyn with this couple again, and highly, highly recommend them to other dog parents. That is, of course, when they don't book them when I need to leave Brooklyn with them :).”
About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from farm animals to house pets. I have owned many dogs and cats in the past and now. I currently have 2 huskies and 2 cats of which I completely take care of. I also have work experience when I had a job in Texas working at a doggy daycare, I learned basic training methods along with gaining the proper experience to understand dog behavior. I have a relatively open schedule, I do work two other part time jobs one being mostly night time shift and the other is whenever I choose to work. Please know I try my best to help anyone even last minute requests, but sometimes I may not be available if asked to late! I always am happy to try to be available for everyone. This makes me pretty much 24/7 available, but it’s usually best if you schedule at least a few days to a week in advance. Prices for all of my services are not negotiable, depending on the service/details. To ease your comfort I offer a free meet-and-greet visit before any paid service is handled. This isn’t required before services, and I’m usually confident enough to go without one, but it can help answer any questions you have and ensure your pet is comfortable with me. If issues were to arise while I take care of your pets their safety is the first priority to me. I will be gentle and patient with any pet cared for.

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”
“Ruchi was amazing with Frida! This was my first time leaving Frida with a pet sitter, so I was a little nervous, but Ruchi made the whole experience so much easier. She was very patient with Frida, especially at the beginning when she was a little nervous and unsure about being in a new place. Ruchi kept me updated throughout her stay, and it was so nice to see Frida becoming more and more comfortable with her and her family. When I picked Frida up, she was happy to see me, but she was also clearly very happy and comfortable with Ruchi. About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 15 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Always active and attentive. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of walks and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with her. I followed him to Rover from the daycare he essentially started and was forced to shut down. And I will follow him when he starts his own. About: There has always been a dog in my life and it’s the absolute best! I am a big believer in positive reinforcement training. I’ve worked with a dog trainer for a few weeks (with my own dog Lucy) and have enjoyed reading about positive reinforcement training techniques. I always enjoy greeting other furry friends while we’re out on the trails or at the town off-leash area. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and my current dog Lucy was, (and still sometimes is!), pretty high-energy. We get outside for some energy-burning activity at least 2x a day. We live right next to trails, a pond, and a river. I’ve mostly taken in friends’ dogs over the past couple of years but we’re used to having an extra dog come to stay and would be happy to welcome yours! I work from home and Lucy is with me all day. We exercise and/or have play breaks throughout the day. I have very few commitments outside the home. We are active and live right next to town & state forest with many trails. I run, hike, and mountain bike. We also have 2 ponds which is the best for water-loving dogs! I take Lucy out every couple of hours on our property (big meadow) or surrounding trails. She is mostly off-leash but can be on-leash if that works better with your dog. Lucy loves all dogs and is a great, energetic playmate. We have a crate if that's part of your dog's routine.
About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. About: Even though this is my first year being a sitter, I’ve had pets in my whole life so I know how to have really good pet care and I also love animals over humans so I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals no matter what. Also, I am majoring in a degree to where I could graduate to go take care of animals in the future! It helps me experience and help me for my future, and it also gives me a time to get stuff off of my brain after classes, kinda like a reset of my day! I make sure they eat when they want to take them out when they need to whether it means just taking them out in the front yard to play, use the bathroom or to go on a walk. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. I love animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own. ****** PLEASE NOTE ****** that we have two dogs (an elderly deaf pug named Alice, and a senior terrier mix named Edie) and one cat. Our pets are friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people who come to visit/ stay with us. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet staying with our pets, or if they don't have experience with cats. We can discuss and ensure it'll be a good mutual fit. I am an educator at the local elementary school, and offer pet care services to neighbors and visitors to the area. My availability is generally flexible on the weekends, and can extend into the week on a case-by-case basis. I generally offer 3-4 walks per day, including one longer adventure to mountain trails, or another nearby, dog friendly destination. I'm happy to bring your pup to any of their favorite spots (within reason). Of course, it goes without saying that pets are allowed on the furniture and more than welcome to snuggle in bed at night, also open to crating or any special care required.

We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! About: Maiah and I have grown up with many different pets including Dogs, Cats, Fish, and Lizards. Maiah grew up rescuing and raising pups from birth. At one point she had six dogs and one cat. We now have a precious black golden retriever who is our son and a black cat named Amelia who we adore. We went to training classes with our dog Barkley and he is now a certified psychiatric service animal. We take him on a trail walk almost every day of the week. Maiah works entirely from home and I work a hybrid schedule. We always have our dog with us and have the flexibility to go on potty walks at any time throughout the day as well as frequenting the Dog Parks and Trail walks in the area after work! We care for our dog by showing him love and affection and space when he needs it. When we look after your dog when you’re away we will treat it with the same care, love, and respect we give our dog.
About: I have experience working in a doggie daycare setting. I have experienced many dogs of many breeds and followed instructions for each individual dog needs. I have also handled dogs from mild manner to dogs with bigger personalities. Schedules are set daily/weekly/monthly depending on the needs. I offer pet care, pee/exercise breaks to pet sitting so will work with each need that arises to best support the dog and their owners. I do not offer pet care in my home. I will gladly communicate with the owner to accommodate the needs of your pet while taking care of them for you.

About: I am currently living in South Burlington, VT and looking to help those who need it. I think it's important to socialize your dog but more importantly to be able to give it the care it needs each day. I have a big car, purposefully for pups to take them to the lake, park or mountain! I am a 2 minute drive from Red Rocks and Oakledge. In addition, I have a bathing unit here and I am able to wash, clean or freshen up your pup! I also have a 3.5 month old cattle dog puppy, female. She is very loving and friendly. If it is allowed, I would love to let her join but understand if it would not be a good situation.

“Julian and Jocelyn are the most wonderful hosts Brooklyn has ever had! My baby Brooklyn recently stayed with them for almost a week. From the moment we met for a meet-n-greet, I was completely comfortable with Julian and Jocelyn which is rare for me. I think it was a combination of their apparent genuine love for dogs, their experience with dealing with different personalities of dogs, and the fact that they asked very specific and thoughtful questions about Brooklyn, that put my mind completely at ease. During the stay, they spent lots of quality time with Brooklyn, took her to the park regularly, and had plenty of cuddle time with her. I was afraid that Brooklyn would not want to come home afterwards! As well, Julian and Jocelyn were very attentive to Brooklyn, sent very detailed updates about Brooklyn's day and when they noticed Brooklyn was licking her romp a little more than usual they immediately brought it to my attention. In addition to being great hosts to Brooklyn, this couple was also more than accommodating with drop off and pick up. I was traveling to an area with impending threat of Hurricane Mathew and my travel plan was up in the air the day before my planned departure. Julian and Jocelyn were totally understanding and remained flexible with the drop off and pick up time/ date which was super helpful. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about this couple as they have been amazing throughout this experience. In fact, this has been the first trip during which I have not had some kind of panic attacks due to lack of communication with Brooklyn's host, which makes the vacation that much better. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to leave Brooklyn with this couple again, and highly, highly recommend them to other dog parents. That is, of course, when they don't book them when I need to leave Brooklyn with them :).”

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”
“Ruchi was amazing with Frida! This was my first time leaving Frida with a pet sitter, so I was a little nervous, but Ruchi made the whole experience so much easier. She was very patient with Frida, especially at the beginning when she was a little nervous and unsure about being in a new place. Ruchi kept me updated throughout her stay, and it was so nice to see Frida becoming more and more comfortable with her and her family. When I picked Frida up, she was happy to see me, but she was also clearly very happy and comfortable with Ruchi. She even went back to her almost as if she was saying thank you and goodbye, which made me feel really good about leaving her there. Ruchi and her family are truly dog lovers, and you can tell they are very knowledgeable and experienced with dogs. I felt like Frida was in very good hands.
