About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun! I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return. I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

I am great at setting up sniffaris, am happy to go on adventures or walks, and will send you lots of photos! I’m currently working part-time so I can be very flexible. About: I’ve had both dogs and cats for my whole life! I’m very active and would love to walk with your dog and play! I have experience with difficult animals from my time working at an ASPCA and from socializing and rescuing feral cats. I can give meds and provide care to senior animals and I’m strong enough to carry a pet that needs some help getting down stairs etc. I’ve potty trained two puppies and leash trained several other dogs. I’m a graduate student with a hybrid work schedule and I’m always looking for more excuses to get outside and go for a walk! I’m very active but I also love to snuggle on the couch with a good book and a new furry friend. With my own pets I take their routine very seriously and I would do the same for your animals. I believe in keeping things as stress free as possible for pets while you are away so they can stay happy and healthy. I do a mix of working from home and working on campus, doing drop ins and walks when I’m in between meetings would work great for me. I’m super active so Im always out walking already, i might as well bring a dog! I can stay at other peoples houses if it’s close to the university and there is wifi for me to get some work done. Currently I can’t have animals stay in my home because my house already has two cats that don’t do well with new animals coming over. I would care for them as if they are my own of course! I am a string believer that animals thrive on routine so I will stick as close as I can to what their normal routine is. At a clients home I would be sure to keep everything clean and neat and do everything as directed so the pet I’m watching doesn’t experience extra stress being away from their person.

About: My name is Danielle and I’ve always been a huge animal lover. When my neighbors got two lab puppies in 2009 I visited them every day after school. Since I didn’t grow up with dogs I basically treated them as my own and taught them commands. This is when my dogsitting journey began at 12 years old. Both dogs had such a big impact on me which led to my passion working with animals. In fourth grade my dream job was to be a dog walker. Since then I’ve pet sat for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and horses for months at a time in Vermont and Hawaii. I’m a Reiki practitioner and I love offering this healing to animals I care for. I work from home which allows me to provide quality care for your pet. A couple of my favorite activities are walks and hikes. They’re even better when I have a dog by my side. I mainly offer care in my home. The only exceptions for me to sit in your home is if you have an elderly dog or many various animals. Your dog must be able to go up stairs. I ensure the pets get lots of love, snuggles, all the walks that are needed, and extra outside time if this is something they enjoy.

About: I’m an animal lover to the core and not a single dog frightens me. I dog sit Mini Yorkies up to German Shepards for my friends and family and have always had dogs in my life. In the past, I’ve assisted caring for my mother’s chihuahua who pinched a nerve in his spine and had been paralyzed from his waist down so I’m familiar with mildly handicapped dogs. I go on hikes/walks through town forests every weekend with friends, so what’s another dog or two in the mix! Generally available weekday evenings and weekends. Whatever activities your dog enjoys or you prefer your dog to partake in, I will gladly oblige as it would be my responsibility to keep them as happy and comfortable in your absence. I have my own one year old GSD/Border Collie mix who is extremely friendly and loves to play and socialize. I currently work remotely which allows for flexibility to take care of my own pets, as well as my neighbors when they are working. While I have more flexibility in the evenings during the week, I can always make time during a weekday if the need is there. I live in an area that is abundant with fellow dogs and dog friends, allowing for socializing and extra entertainment and enrichment if the prospective dog works well with others. I’m also a short distance from a massive dog park where I take my own boy to get out some off leash zoomies. I have three cats in house who are familiar with dogs but will make themselves scarce if they’re uncomfortable and have their own room to hide where no dogs can go.

About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I relocated back to Lamoille county a few years ago and we’d love to watch your dog! We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. About: I grew up with yellow labs and helped raise multiple litters of puppies with my family. I’ve had my current dog for 3 years and want to expand my love of dogs to yours as well! About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life and would like a side job where I can help myself and also help someone else. It's hard to find rewarding jobs that fit with your 9 - 5 and I'm hoping I can find something like that here. I'm really good with all animals, and love children (which is good when you walk dogs kids always try to pet them). I'm loving, kind, reliable and have a flexible schedule. I'm open to whatever is needed and want to build a stable relationship for the dog owners who select me to help them out. I also have a degree in psychology and my family still has pets, I get to help with them as well lucky for me :) I work remote from home so I'm available all the time, which is great for pet care! My schedule is very flexible and can take lots of breaks as needed. I live alone with no pets so it's the perfect spot to board animals. I also have no problem staying at your home if that is what is needed.
