He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

“Tess is a rockstar!! We have 3 SHY senior special-needs cats who need all kinds of complicated care. They needed a combination of special diet food / thorough supervision throughout mealtime to ensure everyone gets the right thing, powdered meds mixed with food, transdermal medications applied to the ear, and antibiotics out of a syringe, in addition to all of the typical work that goes into cat sitting. It’s always hard to find someone we can trust with their safety with that level of care needed, but we saw that Tess had experience with senior kitties, administering multiple kinds of medications, caring for feral cats, and her own cats at home. That’s the best you can hope for! True to her word, Tess did a beautiful job taking care of all of their needs, and even went the extra mile to give the last round of several medications when we let her know we were happy to take care of the final day to give her a break. She took extra time to make sure she could establish trust with them first and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know. Somehow, after medicating really shy and medication-averse cats, she left 3 happy, safe kitties after her care. Couldn’t recommend Tess any more highly, and we would be thrilled to have Tess back again any time!!”

About: I've been around dogs since I was a child, and I see them as part of the family. I got my first dog when I was eleven, but our house grew and grew with multiple dogs, and I currently help care for my family's six dogs. In addition, my parents and I have fostered dogs together, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who needed extra patience, structure, and reassurance while adjusting to new environments. About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 15 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Live right by Cherokee Park, which is a great venue for pups. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of walks and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

About: My name is Danielle and I’ve always been a huge animal lover. When my neighbors got two lab puppies in 2009 I visited them every day after school. Since I didn’t grow up with dogs I basically treated them as my own and taught them commands. This is when my dogsitting journey began at 12 years old. Both dogs had such a big impact on me which led to my passion working with animals. In fourth grade my dream job was to be a dog walker. Since then I’ve pet sat for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and horses for months at a time in Vermont and Hawaii. I’m a Reiki practitioner and I love offering this healing to animals I care for. I work from home which allows me to provide quality care for your pet. A couple of my favorite activities are walks and hikes. They’re even better when I have a dog by my side. I mainly offer care in my home. The only exceptions for me to sit in your home is if you have an elderly dog or many various animals. Your dog must be able to go up stairs. I ensure the pets get lots of love, snuggles, all the walks that are needed, and extra outside time if this is something they enjoy.
About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.
About: I’ve had both dogs and cats for my whole life! I’m very active and would love to walk with your dog and play! I have experience with difficult animals from my time working at an ASPCA and from socializing and rescuing feral cats. I can give meds and provide care to senior animals and I’m strong enough to carry a pet that needs some help getting down stairs etc. I’ve potty trained two puppies and leash trained several other dogs. I’m a graduate student with a hybrid work schedule and I’m always looking for more excuses to get outside and go for a walk! I’m very active but I also love to snuggle on the couch with a good book and a new furry friend. With my own pets I take their routine very seriously and I would do the same for your animals. I believe in keeping things as stress free as possible for pets while you are away so they can stay happy and healthy. I do a mix of working from home and working on campus, doing drop ins and walks when I’m in between meetings would work great for me. I’m super active so Im always out walking already, i might as well bring a dog! I can stay at other peoples houses if it’s close to the university and there is wifi for me to get some work done. Currently I can’t have animals stay in my home because my house already has two cats that don’t do well with new animals coming over. I would care for them as if they are my own of course! I am a string believer that animals thrive on routine so I will stick as close as I can to what their normal routine is. At a clients home I would be sure to keep everything clean and neat and do everything as directed so the pet I’m watching doesn’t experience extra stress being away from their person.
“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages, l’m comfortable administering medications—I definitely have a soft spot for dogs with special needs! I have three dogs of my own and always travel with my smallest one, Meera, a 9lb chi mix who is very quiet and well behaved. I work at a doggie daycare four days a week so Friday through Sunday I’d be out of the house for about 8 hours a day. I am the lucky mama of three sweet rescue dogs named Jelly Bean, Frankie, and Meera. They are highly socialized due to the nature of my work and they join me for house sitting and pet care. A typical day includes frequent potty breaks/play sessions outside followed by low-energy training and relaxation, inside or out (weather dependent).

We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. About: I have loved animals since I was a child. I have taken many college classes about animal health. My background as an EMT has equipped me to handle many animal emergencies. I have watched various animals, including snakes, cats, guinea pigs, and dogs. I ensure that cats receive the right balance of independence and affection, make sure your pet has extra treats, and provide dogs with regular exercise. I can cater to each pet's unique requirements. I promise that your baby will receive love and attention, and be well cared for with me. I work from home and can be flexible to cater to you and your pets needs. I have plenty of time to take breaks and ensure they get the attention they deserve. I prefer to watch pets in your home but can be flexible. I live near a park and have a fenced in yard to ensure animals get proper exercise.

We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.
“This was our first time using Rover and my wife and I were a little uneasy about the service. However, as soon as we meet Alex and Pete, we knew they would take great care of our dog and they did. Our dog loved staying at Pete and Alex's place. Pete and Alex are very kind, caring, and loving dog sitters. They took wonderful care of our dog. Our dog also had a great time staying at their place and came home happy and tucker out from all the outdoors fun. We have a senior dog with a few health issues to pay attention to and Alex and Pete easily took care of our dogs needs. We fully recommend Pete and Alex and definitely ask them to watch our dog again. I think our dog had such a great time that he was a little disappointed to return to the city”
