Pet care experience

Life-long pet owner and caretaker

Hi! I’m Sarah, a Vermont native, University of Vermont graduate and full-time dog mom to two 95 pound labradors, Lincoln & Fudge. Growing up I had cats, a rabbit and a dog; and my extended family had dogs as well, so having 3 big dogs in our house was normal. I love dogs and cats, although I am mildly allergic to cats (that's why I can't take cats to my home to watch). I promise if you allow me to care for your pet I'll do the best job I possibly can. Thank you for your time, I hope to hear from you soon! *all photos are of my own pets, I would never post your babies without your consent*

Sarah was great. She arrived on time, took my pup for a nice walk and played in the park with him. Will be booking with her again.

Sarah took great care of our sweet and sensitive kitty. He warmed right up to her and we loved receiving videos of him purring away while we were gone. We felt assured that he was in good hands.

Sarah was terrific with Brody, very patient and kind with our elderly guy! She stayed in regular contact with us throughout the weekend, was very responsive and took good care of our home. We would recommend Sarah!

Sarah has taken Remi for two walks recently and is wonderful with her! Remi is a rescue with her own particular issues and Sarah is patient with her, gives me updates and pics of their time together . Already booked Sarah for house sitting for our upcoming vacations 😊

Safety, trust & environment

I love to care for animals big or small, fluffy or furry. I can provide multiple walks or even trips to the dog park if your dog is used to going. I love giving pets and love and can’t wait to take care of your baby. I can also of course take care of plants/mail/light cleaning if you’d like.

Pets

A typical day

I love to take dogs on long walks at the park or to the beach. My son especially loves the water (he’s a lab) and so we try to visit the beach or go hiking as much as possible.

For the most part they’re easy-going dogs. Will play at the park but are also happy to lay on the sofa with you. They’re strong and might pull a little on walks but nothing a stern “no” can’t fix. Lincoln’s a little psychotic and hates birds, planes and most things with wheels (he will bark and lunge, that’s your warning) so just be careful on walks or if he’s off leash. But overall he’s a baby and just wants love. Fudge is just happy to be included.
