New on Rover - Not New to Dogs!
Hi! I work from home and make my own schedule so I’m able and happy to be at your pups beck and call/woof?! My Husky-lab mix, Duke, which I had for 10 years changed my life. Besides the experience of caring for him, and his issues with arthritis, along with his stubborn Husky streak, I’ve also cared for many of my friend’s dogs in various capacities. I recently lost him which has now given me the motivation and time to pursue spending it with other’s dogs. That’s as simply as I can put it. I have the time to be with your dog when you can’t and promise you he will get the most personal and attentive care you could want. I love walking, hiking, a vigorous game of catch, a downtown stroll on Church Street, or doing whatever your dog wants to do - I have the time and the love to do it. There are no other dogs or children at home; your dog will literally be part of the family and have 24-hour company and supervision, except perhaps an hour or two for errands. I don’t have a yard but a small balcony, but I am a 5-minute walk from the green path, North Beach, Arm’s Forest, Ethan Allen Park, Leddy Park and I have a dog-safe vehicle to travel anywhere, if your pup likes a nice drive. I also have A/C for those hot summer months! They’re also allowed on the furniture and bed. Happy to answer any questions.

I could not recommend Catherine enough. She and her husband treated our dog Jules as their own and truly went above and beyond to make her comfortable. They are some of the most caring people I've met and are true dog lovers. Catherine went above and beyond our hired requests, and we appreciated the extra care and effort she put in. She was responsive and completed the scheduled walks as requested. We appreciate her help with Bailey while we were away.
Catherine was truly wonderful! She absolutely went above and beyond! We were visiting from out of town and needed a check in/walk for our dog while we were at a concert. She met us beforehand to get introduced to our pup and scope out the arrangements, and she sent lots of pics and videos that put my mind at ease that he was okay. It was much easier enjoying myself knowing our little guy was so well cared for!
Catherine was an amazing pet sitter! Joey had a great time with her, and I loved receiving lots of photos and videos while I was away. I honestly think Joey enjoyed his time with her just as much as she enjoyed having him. Catherine was flexible, responded promptly to messages, and made the whole experience stress-free. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.

Schedule
I work from home and my schedule is completely flexible and will revolve around your pets; that’s it. I’m at home full time except for an hour or two to run errands.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 3-story townhouse with balcony. Your dog will have run of the house but if stairs are an issue, he can be contained to the main level, if necessary. I can gate the stairs. Your dog is allowed on beds and furniture and outside on balcony when I’m home. There are no other dogs here.
A typical day
I am able to do everything … long long walks multiple times a day as needed, as required. Trips around town, local hikes, dog park (if desired)…I took my dog everywhere allowed! I will spend time on mental stimulation; training new tricks (at least attempt to do so), lots of fetching games, tug, etc …
