About: Hi, I’m Emmy! I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs and have been caring for animals my whole life. I currently have two cats of my own and have experience with dogs of all sizes — from tiny Yorkies to giant Malamute Huskies. I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 1.5 years as an assistant and receptionist, giving me hands-on experience with vet care, administering medications, and responding to emergencies. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, tiny, or large, I’m comfortable providing loving, attentive care tailored to their unique needs! I’m a grad student about to enter summer break so I have all of the free time in the world to tailor to your pets needs. I would love nothing more than to make a new furry friend this summer. I have a decently sized two bedroom apartment—and as a pet parent myself—no room or furniture is off limits to your fur baby unless requested by you. I have several grassy parks in the area ideal for walking.

“Emma was great with our 12 year old cockapoo. She was communicative, on time, and sent lots of pictures. Quincy loved his time with her and we'll be using her again!”

“Jennifer and Darren are both wonderful. She even made homemade treats for a friend and shared them with Kingsley, sent him some for home and he loved them! Thanks for being flexible as well, I was running late for pick-up and she was super kind about it.”

“Edward and Shyana took the best care of my dog Nash while I had to work. Nash got some great walks and lots of pets from them. Edward and Shyana are incredibly kind and I’m so grateful to have found people like them to look after my pup. It put me at ease all day knowing my dog was in their care!”

“Tracy was amazing and my dog had the best day. He loves to sleep and snuggle and had a calm, restful day which is just what he needed. I take him to doggy daycare too and it wipes him out so it was amazing to find someone who works remotely who could give him 1:1 time, relax and play.”

About: I’ve taken care of and trained many puppies/dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 6 years old and am now a pup parent to my own 4 month old mini dachshund. I’ve had terriers, Rottweilers, goldens, Dalmatians, dachshunds etc. and know the kind of specific care and love needed for each breed. These babies have their own little souls and I’d love to help out any loving pet parents and reduce any stress or fear you may have when leaving them in the care of someone else. I’m super active on my phone and work from home so am available on demand and ready with pictures and updates for peace of mind. Looking forward to working together soon and meeting you furry family members! I work from home and have my own puppy so I’m available almost 24/7 for walks and potty time before, after, and during work hours and on weekends. I live in a high end apartment with lots of doggy amenities including many green spaces and fenced play areas for lots of potty breaks and long walks. I have my own small friendly pup who can keep yours company and tire them out as well as have crates and gates available, lots of toys, and ramps for the smaller dogs to save their backs!

“Anna was the best with Casper! She sent me lots of photos and took really good care of him. I feel at ease leaving Casper with her while I work and couldn't be more grateful to have found her!”

“Bridget was responsible and so flexible with an early morning daycare drop off! Minnie looked well cared for when I picked her up. Definitely will be booking again!”

“Caitlin did an excellent job caring for my anxious dog. She kept me updated with photos and about the day’s activities. Her communication throughout the process was professional and responsive. I am definitely having Caitlin watch my girl again!”

“Our first Roover experience for us and we are so happy about Vienna's stay! Jim and his four years old little boy took amazing care of her and shared some cute videos at the park playing with her favorite ball over the day. We felt super relieved to see that she had a great day and was not too difficult (2 year old high energy golden at home and we were a bit anxious to give her away for a day). Everything went really well and we can't recommend enough Jim! We will use him again next time we need it! :)”

About: I am a huge animal lover of both Pups and Kitty's so your beloved companion would be in good hands! I grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I have a 7 month year old mixed terrier named Tut, who loves to play with other dogs. Your dog or cat must be okay to be in an apartment with another super friendly and cute pup. Beyond my pup, I many years experience with pet care with both my sisters dogs and cats. My building is super dog friendly! I work remotely so I will be available to give your pet a lot of attention and play time! For overnight boarding, I prefer the weekends so I can give your pet all the love and attention it deserves! I live in a pet friendly apartment so there is plenty of areas to go for a nice walk. Finally, there is a dog park next door to me so if your pup loves other dogs they will love that park! My building has a ton of amazing dogs which I love.

“Vish and AJ are AMAZING! I felt so confident leaving my dog with them. I received updates and pictures and was able to focus on my work instead of worrying. They played with him, brushed him, and took him for walks. They could not have been better to him. Vish and AJ are clearly dog lovers and I would recommend them 10/10!”

About: I’m reliable, trustworthy, and ready to give your dog all the love they’ll be needing when you aren’t there! I’ll be sure to keep your furry friend safe, happy, and well taken care of :) I’m currently unemployed so I have a ton of free time! I just need a heads up in advance so that I can make sure I’m available :) I live in an apartment and do not currently have any pets of my own (although I do have a 4 year old Australian shepherd at my parents house). My apartment is very pet friendly and has tons of grassy areas and walking trails nearby!

“Luna had a great two days with Meaghan! We were up for the weekend from New York so I really appreciated Meaghan’s smooth communication and pick ups/drops offs”

“Kim was the best dogsitter I’ve had. She was really flexible with when I could drop Moose off and pick him up, she was very comfortable around him and knowledgeable. She was also super patient with him as he was getting acclimated to her space and other dogs. Moose had a really great time and we’re excited to come back.”

“I can’t recommend Florence enough for all your dog needs!! My dog stayed at her apartment for the afternoon while I was on a whale watching tour and she sent me SO many pictures of his adventures. She fed him, cuddled with him, and even took him to Boston Commons to play. When I picked him up, I could tell my dog was so at ease with her and she even let him keep a ball he played with. If you need someone to watch your dog while you’re in downtown Boston, go with Florence!!”

Crate Escape - CharlestownLocal facility
“Crate Escape is amazing! I have three dogs who all attend and absolutely love it. My dog Skye goes to the High Spirited Hounds program and has a blast. Skye is an amazing dog who has some behavioral concerns so regular day care wasn’t a good fit for her. I’m so grateful that High Spirited Hounds is a perfect fit. She is able to go, get enrichment and training. She comes home tired at the end of the day, happy, and with better manners. I couldn’t be happier with the program. My other two dogs Pilot and Twix go to Crate Escape’s daycare and also absolutely love it! They have so much fun and are so excited to go in the morning. It’s so clear that the staff truly care about Pilot, Twix, and Skye, and keep them safe and happy during the day. I couldn’t be more grateful for Crate Escape and how much my dogs love it there, and I would recommend Crate Escape highly to anyone looking for a program for their dog.”

Crate Escape - BelmontLocal facility
“Basyl joined Crate Escape at 2 years old. She was a covid puppy in MI and moved around with us until we arrived back in Boston. By then, any of her early training had gone out the window. Crate Escape did wonders for Basyl with training support, the introduction of the structured high spirited hounds program, and the in-house grooming -- there's not much more I could ask for. 10/10 would recommend!”

Tracy G.

Gillian R.
“Gillian is an extreme animal lover. Her entire life has loved horses, dogs, cats, any animal you can think of, she even had 11 toads at one point. Additionally she has recently gotten a dog, a small doxin believe is the breed and in the 21 years I've known her I don't think I've ever seen a person have more maternal instincts over a dog. She recently came to visit me for a weekend and left her dog with her boyfriend and needed constant updates on training, cute pictures and even had facetime calls to see the dog. I honestly don't think there is anything she wouldn't do for her new puppy. Personally seeing how she treats her own dog and her relationship with animals in the past there isn't anyone I would trust more to take care of a furry family member.”

“Nick oftentimes looks after our two dogs, Bean and Sprout, when we are in need of someone reliable to care for them. Our dogs can tell right off the bat that he’s an animal lover and oftentimes will seek him out, especially our little dog Sprout, who I always find Nick doting on when we’re hanging out. Nick will treat your dogs as if they’re his own. He’s also active so he’d be a great person to take dogs out on an adventure or long walk. You will have peace of mind leaving your pups with Nick, because he always keeps his word and is very reliable!”
