“Mary Jane did a wonderful job taking care of our two Havanese pups. She was very good at communicating with us and keeping us updated during our trip. I really felt like she cared about our pups and was a great guest in our home. She even washed the sheets and towels and had the bed made before we got home. That was so nice of her! Anyway we will definitely hire Mary Jane again.”

About: Animals have always been my passion and your pet's well-being will always come first. I work in a very timely manner and am proactive to let you know about how your pet is doing! I am in the process of becoming a certified dog trainer and spend 30+ hours volunteering at the animal shelter. I have open availability for the summer and would love to help care for your furry companion! My schedule is Sunday - Saturday, with earliest appointments at 8AM and latest at 8PM. Caring for pets in your home requires trust and respect. I keep to the main community areas of your home - this generally includes the living room, kitchen, and backyard, as well as access to one bathroom. I will assume any other place as off-limits unless otherwise specified. Supplies such as leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, etc. that you provide will be returned back to their original location at the end of my stay. Keys can either be left in a hidden lock box or on my person - I take care to properly label and safely store any keys to ensure they are returned when needed.

“Vicki did a phenomenal job taking care of our boy Mylo. Mylo had to get some emergency stitches the day before we were going out of town. Vicki handled his care perfectly, sent us regular updates and dealt with all the drama that comes with Mylo having to wear a cone. We cannot thank her enough and absolutely would recommend her to everyone else.”

“Veronica was a great dog / house sitter. She sent frequent updates and photos of the dogs which showed just how happy they were. She took great care of the house to the point that I wouldn't have known she was there if I hadn't had booked her through Rover. She was friendly, extremely responsive with booking, and our dogs were well taken care of by her.”

“Georgina did a great job with Mikko and Kona! This was her first house sitting visit with them, and she quickly acclimated to their personalities! She was communicative, thorough with the instructions, and made sure they were comfortable and had a good time! Mikko and Kona warned up to her quickly, and she earned their trust fast. Look forward to hosting Georgina again in a few weeks!”

“Elizabeth is amazing!! She was a great communicator especially since our dog got sick after we left for our trip:( She treated him with all the love!! I highly recommend her!”

“Aida was great! She communicated with us throughout our trip giving us lots of updates. Our old dog has dementia and has gotten to be harder for strangers to win over and less regular in his schedule - but Aida took it in her stride and was patient with him. By the time we got home our dog seemed perfectly comfortable with her, which is a big compliment from him. We'll book her again if she's available!”

“Lara was great with our dog, Rue for house sitting! We did an initial meet and greet beforehand. During her stay, we got plenty of pictures. We returned early and Lara came back for her belongings and Rue was thrilled to see her again! You can tell she had a good time and was in good hands. Thank you, Lara!”

When we travel, whether it be a long or short duration, we have complete confidence in their abilities to care for our girls which allows us to enjoy our time away. “Thank you so much for your kindness and caring nature, Gray. Milo being such a new pup truly appreciated you. Your attentiveness and attention to detail was much appreciated! We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you again soon!”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and patience for every pet, combined with hands-on experience caring for puppies and senior dogs alike. I understand the unique needs of young pups, like training, socialization, and gentle guidance, as well as the extra attention and care senior dogs require, including medication administration and gentle exercise. I’m highly attentive to each pet’s personality and health needs, making sure every walk, play session, or rest period is tailored just for them. Safety is my top priority, but I also focus on making sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Plus, I’m reliable, communicative, and always quick to update you with photos and messages so you feel connected and confident in the care I provide. I take my dog on daily walks, and I have free time to love on other pups too! I take care of my dogs as well as other dogs food, water, medication, and any additional needs they have. Sadly I do not offer boarding services at this time. I hope to in the future, but until then I'm sure your pup and I will have a great time in his own home.

“Tina was an amazing overnight dog sitter at our house! My dog is a rescue and is very nervous around other animals, so we have to have the dog sitter stay at our house when we can't take our dog with us. However, she warmed right up to Tina and they had a great time together. It was a 4 day overnight job. Tina was wonderful about sending updates and pictures, and she was detail oriented in giving medications. Will definitely use her again!”

I read the room to see if it will be a cheerful introduction or a more mellow hello. I make sure that all their needs are taken care of and that they get extra love before I go! I play ball and go on walks for fun exercise with the dogs! I play with cats and love on them too! I also know about animal behavior from past jobs and volunteer puppy raising for future service dogs, so I understand when an animal needs a break or a boundary made- with me or others.

“I am hesitant to leave a review because I selfishly do not want him to book up, but Isiah was phenomenal. He took excellent care of our dog during extreme heat. She was given all her meds, and our house was immaculate when we returned. We will definitely use him again.”

About: I’ve always loved to be around pets and I oficially started to take care of them when I was 15. In the first years I took care of my own household pets (2 cats and a dog) feeding and taking for a walk and with time that became my responsability. Later on I started to walk my neighboors and family dogs. In the past year and a half a lot of families trusted me with their pets, some for just a few days/weeks and others for over a year, depending on their needs: walks, feeding and/or overnight petsitting. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time on my day for your pets! I’m usually available between 8:30am to 2:30pm weekdays, most days on the weekend and overnight if need it! I usually take care of the pets in the client’s home so the pets don’t feel dislocated or confused with the situation. If you’re in need of dog walks I can easily set a route near your house for the walks!
