About: I have been Petsitting and house sitting for friends and family for more than 25 years, so I figured, why not make new friends and continue the tradition? It’s one of my greatest joys in life, getting to know and play with new puppers and their people!! I’ve cared for many types and breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic animals (snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, tarantulas, exotic fish, chickens, etc.) and all types of pet personalities - shy, rambunctious, skittish, lazy, grouchy, energetic, and everything in-between. From trained purebreds to rescues who have been abused or neglected and need special attention, I have worked with and enjoyed them all. I’ve administered meds, cared for sick pups and kitties, and taken my charges to the vet when needed. I could be trained to care for your pigs, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I travel a good deal and understand the importance of being able to have your non-human child well looked after and not have to worry about them while you’re out of town, or even if you’re just at work. I work remotely, so your pet gets potty breaks often, and they have a human around almost all the time. We go for small walks around a delightful neighborhood when desired, or longer walks/hikes on nearby trails if the bigger pups are game. There are no off-limits areas in our house- my pug Napoleon slept *under the covers* in the big bed he believed he owned - but if you have different rules, they will be enforced as dictated. Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am excited to meet you - and your human friends ;)! Working remotely from my home office provides plenty of opportunity for potty breaks and puppy love in-between client interactions on the phone. It also allows me to stay full-time in your home with your pets if overnight sits are your preference. All that is needed is a strong internet connection and a comfortable, quiet place in your home to work. I have a gated yard in the front but can take little pups on-leash if there’s any concern. There’s also a small potty area in the back yard with a full fence for off-leash outside time. I can accommodate a small crate in my home, if desired. For overnights in your home, an initial meet-n-greet will be required prior to the first engagement to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

“Kayleigh has helped me a few times letting my dogs out while I’m at work, and it’s obvious how thoughtful and caring she is towards my babies. She sends me great photos and makes sure they’re worn out.”

“Kathryn was awesome! We were on vacation in Asheville and had to leave for a day to go to a funeral. Our 3 pups were just getting used to the new environment and we were concerned about leaving them, but Kathryn sent dozens of photos to let us know they were okay. She was also incredibly flexible and was able to adjust her schedule to meet ours. I don't know if we'll ever be back in Asheville... but if we are, we'll definitely be requesting her again!”

“Jen always is reliable and our dog Beans loves her! She frequently will walk him and recently watched him for a day at our house. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos of Beans clearly having a splendid time. She is organized and timely. I would highly recommend Jen!”

“Great experience, reliable and caring, My pup loved her, and I loved getting the messages and photos.”

“Miranda was such a godsend over Thanksgiving — cheerful, flexible, and so good with our two indoor cats and their needs, plus taking on our outdoor neighborhood cat. She even put together a new Litter Genie that arrived after we left. She kept us updated with pictures of all three kitties, provided additional enrichment for them, and made sure our home was secure when she left. Would highly recommend Miranda for cat care!”

“Words can not express how much appreciation I have for Christine. She dropped in on my dog twice a day while I was away and treated him with so much care and love and affection. She definitely goes above and beyond! I'm just getting back home now and my dog has been telling me all about his new friend. Thank you so much Christine. You're amazing!!!”

About: I’ve had many dogs and cats over the years of my own, and love helping people with theirs! Growing up in a family that has a special love for animals gave me a compassionate heart for our four legged companions. My community knows that I am the kind of person that will rescue any animal in need of help, and they can trust me to be reliable with caring for their furry friends. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! I am available to support pet parents on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between 8am-5pm for walks or drop-ins! I may have my son along for the adventure, if you book with me please keep this in mind! He loves animals too, helps with ours and will gladly shower your pet with attention. Looking forward to meeting your furry companions! I am a gentle, loving person and will shower your pets with attention and care. If they have special needs, I’ll be patient with them and learn how to best support them during our time together. I have a dog and cat of my own and know how important daily exercise, fresh air and play time is for their health and well-being. Our animals are our family! ❤️

“I adopted my dog fairly recently so I was nervous about leaving her with someone else for the weekend, but Megan was extremely attentive and made me feel comfortable on day 1! She was wonderful about providing updates and asking about details I hadn't even considered. I have a cat as well and I could tell they were both very fond of her by the end of the weekend. I would definitely recommend Megan to anybody looking for a petsitter.”

About: I have dog sat for dogs of all sizes. I’ve got experience in drop in visits, long walks, snack and food breaks, and overnight stays! I currently have plenty of time in the mornings or on the weekend to meet and pet all the animals! I also have some availability in the afternoons depending on the week I have 2 young cats that are indoor cats and are very playful. I am great at locking the door or keeping animals separated if needed.

About: I had pets growing up and all through college and after, I helped pet sit for friends and family. I have experience with dogs of all ages and have administered meds. I work part time right now so pet care fits easily into my routine. I have a lot of availability for different pet care opportunities. I am good at communicating when there are times I am not available. I wouldn't be able to care for animals in my own home since I have roommates but am available to visit client's homes as needed. I have experience with daily visits and can come as many times as needed for your pet!

About: Hello! My name is Lena. :) I am a pet sitter of many years, and a proud fur mama of a 15-year-old chihuahua named Cinnamon. I spent a few years in my early 20s as a full-time dog groomer, before moving to Asheville and pursuing other professional ventures. I've also worked in a kennel and doggie daycare, so am experienced and comfortable with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and dietary needs. I understand that every dog is different, and am happy to provide care for those who need to exert extra energy, those who are couch potatoes, and every fur baby in between. As an added bonus, I've also done master level reiki training, and have provided animal reiki quite a few times! I currently work part-time during the day, so will be around for morning + evening walks & feeding, as well as overnight for stays. I am happy to spend more time with your fur baby around these hours! For overnight stays, I do my best to accommodate to your pet’s normal routine with feeding/walks/etc. I will typically come by around dinner time, and stay until mid-late morning. I like to bring my senior chihuahua for longer stays if your pet would be open to a friend!
