1. Kristie B.

“Kristie was great with both cats! I was impressed that our shy one that normally hides from other people was comfortable hanging out during the visits. It was a relief to know that they had a good and reliable human taking care of them.”

2. Victoria M.
“Victoria is a best friend to both me and my dog! She was there when my husband and I adopted our dog, Alessio, and helped us acclimate him to his new home. She has been a regular dog-sitter for Alessio throughout the 5 years we've had him. I know he always feels safe in her care, and he is always excited to see her again! Victoria is a very caring and loving person and is a very responsible caregiver for dogs! <3”

3. Jessie M.

“Jessie went above and beyond to get to Winnie and give her a couple great walks and provide great feedback. A snow wall was not enough to keep him away. Thrilled with our first rover experience thanks to him!”

4. Brighton L.

“Brighton was easy to cooperate and coordinate with and even went above and beyond to alert me of some ladybugs that were coming into my apartment! She fed and played with the kitties and also cleaned up some cat vomit with ease. Thank you so much! I would recommend her wholeheartedly”

5. Razzielle A.

“Checked in on my fur baby while I was at work and took care of him like he was her own! My dog absolutely loved her, and we will definitely be reaching out again in the future :)”

6. Nora E.

“This is the second time using Nora's services. The first time she did overnight care. This time, she did a drop in visit for my 2 dogs. She followed any instructions I provided and took good care of them. Nora is the first person I'll reach out to for any future needs!”

7. Jacob T.

“Jacob took fantastic care of our cats! He was very communicative and sent lots of great photos. We'd definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

8. Jen A.

“Jen is so kind and attentive! She sent me photos of my cats and updates in a timely fashion every day. She was so polite and friendly, and I felt totally comfortable knowing she was stopping in every day and making sure my cats were safe and that all of their needs were met. She also very generously helped us out last minute, which I am so grateful for. Thank you Jen ?✨”

9. Emmie H.

“Emmie was great and my sweet boys loved her!! I know they would love to have her back!”

10. Elizabeth B.
About: I have been Petsitting and house sitting for friends and family for more than 25 years, so I figured, why not make new friends and continue the tradition? It’s one of my greatest joys in life, getting to know and play with new puppers and their people!! I’ve cared for many types and breeds of dogs, cats, and exotic animals (snakes, tortoises, lizards, turtles, tarantulas, exotic fish, chickens, etc.) and all types of pet personalities - shy, rambunctious, skittish, lazy, grouchy, energetic, and everything in-between. From trained purebreds to rescues who have been abused or neglected and need special attention, I have worked with and enjoyed them all. I’ve administered meds, cared for sick pups and kitties, and taken my charges to the vet when needed. I could be trained to care for your pigs, goats, sheep, horses, etc. I travel a good deal and understand the importance of being able to have your non-human child well looked after and not have to worry about them while you’re out of town, or even if you’re just at work. I work remotely, so your pet gets potty breaks often, and they have a human around almost all the time. We go for small walks around a delightful neighborhood when desired, or longer walks/hikes on nearby trails if the bigger pups are game. There are no off-limits areas in our house- my pug Napoleon slept *under the covers* in the big bed he believed he owned - but if you have different rules, they will be enforced as dictated. Any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I am excited to meet you - and your human friends ;)! Working remotely from my home office provides plenty of opportunity for potty breaks and puppy love in-between client interactions on the phone. It also allows me to stay full-time in your home with your pets if overnight sits are your preference. All that is needed is a strong internet connection and a comfortable, quiet place in your home to work. I have a gated yard in the front but can take little pups on-leash if there’s any concern. There’s also a small potty area in the back yard with a full fence for off-leash outside time. I can accommodate a small crate in my home, if desired. For overnights in your home, an initial meet-n-greet will be required prior to the first engagement to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

11. Megan K.

“I adopted my dog fairly recently so I was nervous about leaving her with someone else for the weekend, but Megan was extremely attentive and made me feel comfortable on day 1! She was wonderful about providing updates and asking about details I hadn't even considered. I have a cat as well and I could tell they were both very fond of her by the end of the weekend. I would definitely recommend Megan to anybody looking for a petsitter.”

12. Julie G.
“I have known Julie for years. She is very loving with her own pets. Constantly trying to find proper stimulation to keep her dogs mind and body healthy. To her they are her children. I highly recommend her to watch over your fur baby.”

13. Hannah "Miles" V.
“Miles is fantastic! As a petsitter myself, I have high standards for who can look after my pets. He communicates clearly, takes the best pictures, and all my pets love him!”

14. Cat D.

“Cat took great care of Stevee and sent photos every day!”

15. Miranda M.

“Miranda was such a godsend over Thanksgiving — cheerful, flexible, and so good with our two indoor cats and their needs, plus taking on our outdoor neighborhood cat. She even put together a new Litter Genie that arrived after we left. She kept us updated with pictures of all three kitties, provided additional enrichment for them, and made sure our home was secure when she left. Would highly recommend Miranda for cat care!”

16. Kathryn B.

“Kathryn was awesome! We were on vacation in Asheville and had to leave for a day to go to a funeral. Our 3 pups were just getting used to the new environment and we were concerned about leaving them, but Kathryn sent dozens of photos to let us know they were okay. She was also incredibly flexible and was able to adjust her schedule to meet ours. I don't know if we'll ever be back in Asheville... but if we are, we'll definitely be requesting her again!”

17. Lynsey H.
About: I’ve grown up with numerous types of animals, and i’ve had my share of experience in animals shelters and vet clinics. I’ve taken care of newborns to senior pets, and many kinds of animals at that. I utilize a very natural and gentle approach to caring for animals, they have a special place in my heart! I have morning classes everyday from 9:30-12pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I also have an evening class from 3-5pm. I am willing to house sit in between, after, and before my classes as best as I can, though it will depend on distance and needs! I go home every other weekend but I could move things around if need be. I am very willing and flexible! Directions given from clients will be followed to a T. The comfort and care of the pet(s) is my top priority and I will tend to each baby as their needs require! I myself have multiple dogs, cats, horses, and donkeys with specific needs and understand the feeling of wanting to ensure they are in good hands.

18. Christine O.
About: Since moving to Asheville 8 years ago, I’ve sought out any opportunity I can to walk and care for friends’ dogs! I’m very receptive to learning what works best for your dog, so that they feel as comfortable as possible. I’m also experienced with dogs who prefer not to interact with other dogs or are people-shy, and am used to communicating those boundaries if necessary! I’m a very active human and really enjoy having a companion! On the days I’m available, my days are very flexible and open to working with your schedule to best cater to the needs of your pup and keep things consistent. I will defer to your preferences of what your pup is used to, to make sure they feel safe and cared for. Whether that be crating or cuddling on the couch, the priority is making your dog feel at home.

19. Maddalena G.
About: Hello! My name is Lena. :) I am a pet sitter of many years, and a proud fur mama of a 15-year-old chihuahua named Cinnamon. I spent a few years in my early 20s as a full-time dog groomer, before moving to Asheville and pursuing other professional ventures. I've also worked in a kennel and doggie daycare, so am experienced and comfortable with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and dietary needs. I understand that every dog is different, and am happy to provide care for those who need to exert extra energy, those who are couch potatoes, and every fur baby in between. As an added bonus, I've also done master level reiki training, and have provided animal reiki quite a few times! I currently work part-time during the day, so will be around for morning + evening walks & feeding, as well as overnight for stays. I am happy to spend more time with your fur baby around these hours! For overnight stays, I do my best to accommodate to your pet’s normal routine with feeding/walks/etc. I will typically come by around dinner time, and stay until mid-late morning. I like to bring my senior chihuahua for longer stays if your pet would be open to a friend!

20. Jennifer L.
