About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: What sets me apart is my experience caring for animals who need a little extra patience, attention, and understanding. I have experience working with older dogs and sick animals, which has taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things and recognize when a pet may not be feeling their best. I understand that every animal has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I’m happy to adjust my care to make them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and needs a slower pace, I’ll treat them with the same care and compassion I would want for my own pets. Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I currently work only about 10 hours a week, giving me plenty of flexibility to dedicate time to your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and other care needs, and I can work with your pet’s routine and schedule. Having a flexible schedule also means I can give your pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve rather than rushing through a visit. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping them comfortable by maintaining their normal routines as much as possible. I follow their feeding, medication, walking, and care instructions closely while giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would expect for my own, keeping things clean and secure. Most importantly, I communicate with owners throughout the stay and provide updates so they can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

In my home or my client’s home, I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. About: I've had pets my whole life. I did 4 years of vocational training in veterinary medicine throughout high school, and I also pet sitted for neighborhood pets during that time. Afterwards, I went to college and got a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences, focusing on Behavior and Well-Being. I had many animal related jobs throughout that time and am fully ready to return to caring for cats and dogs. I'm currently working full time, so I am a bit busy. However, I am trying to get a part time job so I can have more time to dedicate to your beloved pets. I prefer to care for animals in their own home, so they can still feel a sense of safety and comfort if they are wary around strangers or don't care for new environments.

About: I’ve owned and cared for animals since I was a small child. We’ve had everything from parrots, chickens and fish to dogs cats and snakes. I regularly house sit and pet sit for friends and family. I also have cared for animals every day at the Brevard Zoo and have cared for others at previous jobs such as the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park, the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and the Avian Conservation Center: Center for Birds of Prey. About: Dogs tend to love me at first sight…and the feeling is mutual. I’m very attuned and sensitive to animal body language, indulgent like the best auntie but I won’t let them be too naughty. I am also super observant and can see when a dog is tired, overstimulated, cranky, etc. I don’t take animal behavior personally. I just watch and respond. Until the hurricane I was volunteering at Brother Wolf, walking every kind of dog from the super leash-pull-y to the “just want to sit in the shade and never go home.” This is my second business (look me up: ........). My primary work is as a developmental editor & writing coach for authors, academics, and business owners. I make my own schedule and work remotely, so I can set up at your place as long as the internet is good. I do a lot of coaching calls and my clients always enjoy saying hi to the dogs on zoom. :) As much as I’d love to offer boarding services for dogs, I have a sweet cat at home who would not appreciate this. :) Instead, give me all your intricately detailed instructions, your pet’s weird quirks, and whatever other anxious pet-parent stuff you want me to know. I will hold it all, follow it to the letter, be so sweet to your baby—plus I’ll send you photos to keep you updated. I also like to take lots of let selfies. If your lil’ buddy needs more constant companionship, I can bring my work to your place!
