About: I have had dogs, cats, birds, and much more animals my entire life. I love taking care of animals and have done it for friends and family for years. I’m very active and love walks and runs! I have 4 animals of my own including 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have taken care of baby, Senior, adult, healthy, and sick animals. I’m an animal lover and love meeting new people and animals. I have a lot of knowledge with animals for the simple fact that I have been around 100’s my entire life, from saving strays to having pets. I live in Weaverville and would love to help out with taking care of your pet or pets! Im a personal trainer, my hours are 4am-2/3pm. I am available with at least a 2 day notice. I own my own business so I’m am pretty flexible and able to bring pets to work with me! I have a yard as well as 2 friendly playful dogs. I have crates as well as separated floors that are gated off in my home that always help.

“Miranda is fabulous - she takes great care of our pup Milo and he has a wonderful time at her home. We did a meet and greet first and Miranda answered all of our (helicopter pawrent) questions and made us feel at ease with him in her care. He gets to play with other pups in a safely enclosed backyard, gets lots of exercise & socialization with other daycare pups as well as human attention. Milo is now a regular at Miranda's!”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something that comes very naturally to me. I recently said goodbye to my own dog after 18 wonderful years together, and that experience deepened my understanding of the love, patience, and attentiveness our dogs deserve at every stage of life. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, along with a peaceful indoor space designed to keep dogs comfortable and at ease. Since I work from home, I’m able to supervise throughout the day and keep a close eye on each dog’s needs and comfort level. I take time to understand your dog’s routine, temperament, and preferences so they feel secure and at home. I keep my space clean, low-stress, and structured, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, or crate routines if needed. About: I’ve had animals my entire life and have been involved in animal rescue for the past 10 years. I currently foster with Mountain Pet Rescue and the Asheville Humane Society, and I’ve cared for animals with all kinds of personalities, backgrounds, and needs. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats and I also have experience administering medications. Rescue work has taught me how to be patient with animals who are shy, anxious, energetic, or just need a little extra time and attention. More than anything, I genuinely love being around animals and really enjoy caring for them. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like the little prince or princess they are...with lots of love, attention, cuddles, playtime, and care tailored to what makes them happiest. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved and cared for while you’re away. I work remotely from home, so I’m around throughout the day and have a lot of flexibility to give pets the attention they need. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication, and plenty of company throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and I can easily adjust to their normal routine as much as possible. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, boundaries, feeding schedule, medications, and any quirks or triggers before caring for them. In my home, pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and a calm environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I never force interactions and am very comfortable giving shy or nervous animals the space they need to feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible and make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, and medications are handled carefully. My years in rescue have made me especially attentive to body language and changes in behavior, so I’m always keeping an eye on how your pet is feeling. And of course, I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your furbaby is safe, happy, and getting lots of love.

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life and been watching animals since I was 15. I know CPR and first aid for humans along with animals. I also have experience working at rescue shelters and humane societies. Spending time with your animals gives me the ability to de-strees while I can't have animals of my own, because of wanting to travel. I love animals like they are my own kids (if I had any) I give the best to them and think of their needs before even mine. I love their kisses and happy faces! I love finding their favorite places that they love scratches! I often times can be found even cussing on the floor with pets 😂Most of all I will shower your animals with kisses, walks and love! I am currently working part time and I have a flexible schedule making it easy for me to stop by randomly or stay long term as well as to not rush and spend quality time with your pets! When in my clients homes, I treat their animals and homes with respect and always leave them just as I found them. I respect what the client has as their animals schedule whether it’s cuddles, crate training, walks and feeding schedule.

About: Hi, I am a compassionate and dependable recent retiree. My two senior dogs passed away in the past 6 months and I am without any fur-babies for the first time in decades. I am honored to spend quality time with your loved one so you can have a worry-free vacation and I can have some doggy/kitty time! I am newly retired and have plenty of free time. I do have community activities out but they do not dominate my day. I spend my time focused on creativity (working on art and music projects) at home. So your pup will have company pretty much all day whether you are boarding with me or I am housesitting for you. I am very active and have a daily exercise and yoga routine and my home is a healthy and veg-friendly household. I'll gladly walk your dog to the level he/she is used to (if it's hot I will walk early morning and/or evenings). My intention is to have your baby feel loved and safe with lots of attention and play and by sticking to the routine as you dictate. I am very tidy/neat and respectful of your home. I'm happy to water your plants etc. If boarding in my home, I am here most of the time. My husb and I Iive in a house with a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room for your pup to do his or her business and run around and chase a toy. The neighborhood is very walkable and dog-friendly. I can also take your dog in the car to favorite walks (with your permission). If boarding in my home, I request that your dog is 100% house-trained and has good social skills/manners as well as being comfortable with having their own bed to sleep in.

I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. My Rover calendar will always reflect my current availability! We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. I want your dog’s stay to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible, so tell me all about their normal routine: where they sleep, whether they’re crate-trained, feeding schedule, favorite activities, quirks, and anything else that helps them feel at home.
