Daniella was the best dog sitter ever! She took such good care of my pups that I don’t think they even wanted to come home! She was very conscientious about making sure they had a lot of playtime outside, and basically made them a part of her family while they were there. I got pictures and an update from her every day and just knowing they were so well taken care of was a huge weight lifted off of me. I highly recommend her!

Jay and Nancy were wonderful! They were so kind and put us at ease leaving our two rescues with them. The dogs were happy and I'm sure had a wonderful time roaming the enclosed yard, seeing the lambs and chickens through the fence, and running around with Finn and Pacho!! Nancy sent pictures every day showing our "kids" having a fun vacation! We were very pleased, and would definitely recommend them! Sparky and Angel also came home with beautiful new reflective collars and leashes! Thanks to Jay and his "Trailhound" business! Very reasonable, and way better than their Walmart specials:)

Melody and her husband did an excellent job looking after my two rowdy pups. She watched them over a holiday weekend (Easter) and l couldn't have asked for better care. She was very sweet and friendly, her husband was the same. She was very informative and sent lots of pictures of the dogs. I would definitely use her services again and l highly recommend her for those looking for excellent care.

About: Hi! I live in North Asheville with my 5 year old daughter, husband, and our friendly Maltese/Shih Tzu mix Bradbury (he's 5). We love all animals, especially dogs. I work from home and we have a great space for a dog to be happy in. Big backyard. Very dog-friendly house. Me and my husband have years of experience taking care of dogs, as we were both raised in families with dogs and have had dogs of our own over the years. I work from home so have plenty of flexibility to take care of your pup! I'm also on a schedule with my dog (feeding, lots of outside time, playtime) so am familiar with the kind of routine that is healthy for dogs to have. I have a fenced yard and a lovable Maltese/Shih Tzu dog for your dog to play with. If your dog prefers a crate or needs their own space, I've got space at my house to make that happen.

About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.

This was our first time leaving our two dogs with Brody for a few days while we traveled out of town. Brody took excellent care of them and provided frequent updates so that we could focus on our time away and not worry about our boys. He clearly enjoys what he does. We plan to use Brody again and highly recommend him.

Gus was a fantastic dog sitter, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he provided. He took wonderful care of our two Australian shepherds and our cat while we were away, and it was clear from the start that he’s reliable, attentive, and truly loves animals. Our dogs were happy, well-exercised, and relaxed when we returned, and our cat was clearly comfortable and well cared for too. Gus kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind, and our home was left in great shape. We would absolutely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable, caring pet sitter.

FAQs for Boarding - Weaverville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Boarding in Weaverville on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 359 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Weaverville. About 94% of Weaverville sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
