My dog Georgie loved his stay! It was our first time having someone other than close family watching him. But all of that anxiety and stress went away when we met Laird and her sweet little pup. I will be booking again in the future!

Panda had the best time with KaLynn! We couldn’t have asked for a better Rover experience. KaLynn sent us lots of adorable photos and videos and was so engaging and sweet with our sometimes nervous pet. We are super grateful and will use her again if we find ourselves in town!

Toby had a great weekend with Ali and Penny. Ali took great care of him, gave frequent updates, and went above and beyond in her flexibility and taking care of our boy. Will definitely be asking her to watch Toby again next time I need a sitter.

Carlina was fantastic with Coco! She kept us updated throughout the stay with lots of pictures and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. Coco got along so well with Carlina's dog and seemed to have a wonderful time. Carlina gave her plenty of snuggles, treats, and attention, and it was clear that Coco was very well cared for. We could tell she was happy, comfortable, and loved while we were away. We would absolutely book with Carlina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter! 🐾❤️

Megan and her family were amazing with our two pups! She has a great fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and cozy places for the dogs to sleep and hang out. One of our dogs is really scared of thunderstorms and Megan went above and beyond to make him comfortable during some very strong storms. Our pups have made friends for life! We will definitely be repeat customers and highly recommend Megan.

About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. Today, I share my life with Bailey Love, my 5½-year-old rescue pup and adventure buddy. We spend lots of time exploring the trails and woods around Asheville, and it's where he's happiest. Bailey is friendly, well-trained, and loves making new friends...both human and canine. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply curling up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I treat every dog as family and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. ***For overnight stays, Bailey would be with me - he is great with cats; he has grown up in a house with 3+ cats and litters of kittens and pups.*** I own my own business and teach yoga, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. You'll often find me on the trails with my dog, Bailey Love, exploring the woods and soaking up nature. If your dog enjoys walks, hikes, sniffing every leaf, and outdoor adventures, we'll have a wonderful time together! For pets who prefer a slower pace, I'm equally happy providing cuddles, companionship, and calm care at home. 🐾💜 Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. If your pet stays in my home, they will be treated like family. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs can enjoy walks in my neighborhood, adventures on local trails, or relaxing time outside on a lead if they enjoy being outdoors. When caring for pets in your home, I will treat your space with the same respect and care I give my own. I understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member. For drop-in visits, I often have the flexibility to stay a little longer when schedules allow. As a business owner, I can sometimes bring my laptop and work from your home while spending extra time with your pet, offering additional companionship, playtime, cuddles, and comfort while you're away. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, loved, and as relaxed as possible until you're back home.

Adaira is incredible! She is calm and open. We were prepared to meet their other two dogs and Koda then joined the pack for 10 days! We quickly built trust and understanding. She even gave him some flair on Halloween and did a photo shoot 🎃 I truly cannot recommend her services enough. Koda got to go on plenty of adventures. I am so grateful! He loves her much. He made sure to say goodbye before he hopped in the car. Being such a smart dog, I can tell how much rapport they built.

Wow! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Alyssa and Bryan and the care they gave Theo on his recent (and 1st overnight) visit. The property is a dream, and they are both dog people who know how handle introductions and new environments. Our dog is typically skittish and protective over us and he had the time of his LIFE with them. They are now our go-to in hopes they don’t book out so far in advance haha. So thankful to have found a wonderful family and new friends.

Amanda did a great job caring for my little senior who turned out to be a more challenging pet sit than anticipated. With his dementia and strong separation anxiety since the loss of his brother, apparently he was not an ideal house guest. Amanda managed it and provided honest feedback.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 372 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Candler. About 93% of Candler sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
