Dogs have been a central part of my life since early childhood, and that lifelong passion continues today with our own beloved resident dogs. We understand dog behavior, respect their individual routines, and treat every guest like a member of the family. Whether your dog loves to run wide-open spaces or just wants to sniff the mountain air and lounge on the porch, they will find their perfect rhythm here. Working primarily from home allows me to provide attentive, full-time care and regular outdoor exercise. I can host overnight (Short or Long term) boarding seamlessly as long as owners provide their dog's personal items and necessary accommodations, allowing your pup to enjoy a safe, country retreat with all the comforts of home. Safety and socialization go hand-in-hand here. My dog Rocco, a friendly Catahoula Leopard Hound, has six years of excellent experience interacting with other dogs and is always eager to welcome new playmates. Playtime in our fully fenced yard is entirely supervised, and I can easily crate your dog for meals or bedtime to ensure a structured, safe stay.

About: I've had about 3 years of experience doing pet sitting professionally, but I've been taking care of pets since childhood. I've mainly done work for neighbors or friends, and I've taken care of dogs big and small as well as cats. I've cared for pets who've had various conditions such as arthritis, cataracts, blindess, and deafness, and have experience administering time-sensitive medicine. Also, although I have not taken the steps to get certified as a trainer, I have helped assist a dog trainer many times and have experience in caring for "rowdy" or hyperactive pets. I'm currently a student, but have plenty of time available throughout the day! My schedule is most open during the morning (8am-10am), afternoon (2pm-5pm) and late night hours (8pm-11pm). But, if your pet needs care midday or during the evenings, I can be flexible and adjust accordingly. I make sure to treat your pets as if they were my own. I save any and all written or spoken instructions from owners to make sure pets are given care they are comfortable with and used to. When doing drop-ins, feeding and playing with pets are included. If requested I can also bathe and administer medicine to pets. When walking dogs, I spend 30-60 minutes with them depending on the pet and owner's requests and can walk them as many times a day as needed (within reason). Also, I can accomodate any personal preferences in regards to putting pets in crates, letting them in the backyard, etc. I'll also send picture updates of your pet after I'm done with every visit. I'm always open to questions and requests!

About: I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them never feels like work to me. I’m an active person who loves walks and playtime with energetic pups, but I’m equally happy giving a cat some quiet company and affection or simply respecting the space of a pet who prefers to do their own thing. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I’ve cared for pets through TrustedHousesitters, including cats, active dogs, and senior pets with different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m also happy to share reviews from my previous sits. I’m a pet mom myself to Daisy, our sweet, social, and playful Golden Retriever. We’re not looking to add another pet to our family right now, but Daisy loves other dogs, so welcoming a friendly pup into our home gives her a chance to make new friends and enjoy some meaningful playtime too. As a pet parent, I know how much peace of mind comes from knowing your animal isn’t simply being “watched.” I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. That might mean long walks and playtime, lots of snuggles and attention, or giving a shy or independent pet the space and patience they need to feel comfortable. When I leave Daisy with someone, I love knowing that she’s not just safe, but actually having a good time. I want her stay to feel like a fun little getaway rather than being left behind. Whether I’m walking your pup, checking in on your cat, or welcoming your dog into our home, my goal is simple: to treat your pet with the same attention, kindness, and care I’d want for my own. 🧚‍♀️🐾✨ My schedule is very flexible during the week, which gives me plenty of time for walks, play, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. My Rover calendar will always reflect my current availability! We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. I want your dog’s stay to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible, so tell me all about their normal routine: where they sleep, whether they’re crate-trained, feeding schedule, favorite activities, quirks, and anything else that helps them feel at home. About: I have taken care of pets as long as I can remeber. People ask me to help them with their pets all the time. Your pets are part of your family. I will treat them as the treasures they are. I am available every day from 7:30 am to 7 pm. With those hours it gives me a lot of time to keep your fur baby entertained and fed. I know that for my own clan of animals that I prefer to board them at home. I like to offer the same service to my clients. Kenneling at home keeps your pet comfortable in surroundings they are used to. I can swing by to feed them, walk them, and just keep them company at least twice a day.

About: I've always been an animal lover and grew up with 5 cats. I'd visit my grandparents farm over the summer and fell in love with the bunnies. But my biggest love is dogs. I've cared for my high energy dog for the past 13 years and am patient with shy and skittish dogs and love going for walks with furry friends in all weather. I'm an avid hiker and runner (just did a marathon in June) and can keep your high energy dog busy. I'm a former lawyer, reliable and professional. I'm generally available in the daytime and early afternoon, but happy to accommodate existing clients going out of town. I'm experienced with different breed dogs from beagles to Golden retrievers. I've taken training classes with my dog and understand some practical tips for getting dogs to feel comfortable and safe. Also, I have experience administering medications to dogs.
