About: We both love animals of all kinds. We have always had pets in our lives and have loved being dog sitters for friends and family over the years. We are currently the proud parents of two wonderful dogs, Honeybee and Charlie. We have experience with special care for senior dogs. Our dog Carlos was blind and deaf for the last few years of his life, and had diabetes, requiring insulin shots every 12 hours. We have some dog training skills and have helped Honeybee on her path, starting as a wild rescue puppy to being the well-behaved young lady that she is now. We believe in positive reinforcement training and understand dog behavior enough to know when to step in and intervene. I (Ethan) am currently working a very flexible schedule of driving for Uber and Lyft. My schedule allows me to be home often and to stop by and check on Charlie and Honeybee and any visiting dogs frequently when I am working. If we have doggy daycare clients I am able to stay home all day. Hope is around on evenings and weekends and is always ready for playtime and snuggles with the pups. I am currently sharing residence with my partner Hope (who loves dogs as much as I do!) and she shares in the care of all the dogs. We have a large, fenced-in yard in the heart of West Asheville. We won’t leave your dogs outdoors unattended and will respect any special requirements as to the safety of your beloved babies. We understand the need for routine in a dog's life and will be happy to abide by whatever feeding/medication schedule, exercise needs, etc. that your dog has.

About: I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them never feels like work to me. I’m an active person who loves walks and playtime with energetic pups, but I’m equally happy giving a cat some quiet company and affection or simply respecting the space of a pet who prefers to do their own thing. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. About: I’ve had cats and a previous dog since childhood. I have love for all animals, but cats have won my heart. I love walking dogs and giving them time to run around and get their energy out. I have previously volunteered at Brother Wolf for dog walking and really enjoyed it! I’m comfortable working with animals with special needs. I currently work full-time on week days from 8-4. If you live within 10 minutes of West Asheville I am able to provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours. If you live further out, I can provide breaks every 8 hours. I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule and I have no pets of my own, so all of my attention can be on your fur babies!! I can’t currently offer boarding in my home as my roommate has a dog, but I am happy to come to your house. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything.
