About: I have taken care of everything you can think of, it began when I was 9 years old. My family moved on a horse farm, where we took care of 13 horses everyday. After that my family ran a dog kennel with a capacity of 65 dogs, did that for about 4 years. I decided to branch out and start working for myself. I have pet sat for some years now during that, I have cared for live stock, birds, turtles, fish. I currently work weekends, between 8am-2pm. Unfortunately animals don’t talk so I got a part time job to get out of the house and socialize. I have a fenced in year, plenty of toys, a couple crates, definitely lots of bowls. Some dog beds, along with some blankets. Anything your animal may want I try to have. Of course bring anything that you think would help your doggie adjust.

About: I’m a nurse who works from home with a very flexible schedule, which means I have a plenty of time to prioritize your pets. I know how much peace of mind it brings to have a reliable person nearby, and I treat every animal I visit like family. I’m completely comfortable with senior pets, pets with unique temperaments, following specific feeding routines, or administering medications (including injections) if needed. You can relax knowing your pets are safe and getting all the attention they need. Whether your pet needs a mid-day walking buddy or just a calm presence to hang out with during the workday, I’m happy to step in and help. I do not offer overnights at this time, but can arrange several drop ins throughout the day if you're out of town. I have a shepherd mix and two cats at home. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to spend caring for animals! I am available for drop ins, walks, and longer daycare sessions in your home. I place safety first when caring for dogs and will always follow your routine and care instructions. I have experience with reactive pups and am comfortable caring for and walking dogs of all temperaments, given proper safety measurements are implemented (such as walking dogs separately when needed).

About: I lived on a farm until I was about 18 and have a lot of experience working with all types of animals. During my high school years, I moved to NYC to live with my dad. While there I worked with a company called Wag. I worked with Wag during the summer of 2016; the summer before my senior year of high school. Working with Wag was an amazing opportunity because I got to walk many types of dogs. I have received over 300 five-star reviews with Wag. I'm great with any size of dog as well as any age. I have great experience in walking dogs that are visually impaired dogs. I currently live in a house with 3 dogs that I take care of. Being able to take care of dogs is what I love to do. About: I have had dogs in my house for my whole life, and worked doggy daycare for Dog-Gone Rite. I feel I have plenty of experience and I love to be around animals. I have an Australian Shepherd of my own, so I’m very comfortable with energetic, intelligent dogs who need plenty of exercise, attention, and enrichment! I’m an Occupational Therapist and have spent years working in healthcare, so being dependable, patient, attentive, and responsible is a huge part of who I am. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and routines, and I’ll always treat your pet and home with the same care I’d want someone to give mine. I’m very active and love walking, hiking, and spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to provide anything from a quick potty break to a long walk for dogs who need to burn some energy. I also offer drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, medication as instructed, and plenty of attention and cuddles for pets who prefer a more relaxed visit. As a dog owner who has used pet sitters myself, I know how much peace of mind updates can provide. I’m happy to send photos and updates during visits so you know exactly how your pet is doing. Whether your dog wants to walk three miles, play fetch until my arm falls off, or just have someone hang out with them on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐾 One thing you can count on: I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own. I currently work full time but am available both weekends anytime and during the week after 3 pm. I do make every effort to spend as much time as possible caring and attending to your furry friend! I make sure to ensure the pets have water at all times, a clean environment, and a safe environment free from any hazards. I personally take my dog’s collar off if he is in his crate but would check with clients if they prefer that while I am gone. I make sure they get enough exercise and play time (and snuggles!)

About: I've taken care of just about every animal since I was born. Especially cats and dogs but I've also taken care of reptiles, fish, chickens, rats, gerbils, hamsters, and even bugs. I've handled difficult dog breeds including pitbulls and preydriven rottweilers in a cat home. I am also not shy to pee or poop or any sick pets as I've been in and out of the vets offices as well. Im looking to possibly make this full time. So I am available just about whenever you need me to be there. This includes weekends as well. I am very pet friendly and enjoy being interactive no matter the species. Whether it's letting the crickets run so the bearded dragon can get some exercise or walking the puppy around the yard.

About: I believe that pets deserve an abundance of respect and understanding, as well as optimal attention and care. In general, I tend to feel more comfortable around dogs and cats than people and treat them all with dignity, respect, and love. I have had decades of experience with a variety of pets, from blind pugs to anxious mutts to timid cats and everything in between. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.
