“She is a godsend! I have an older very timid dog that really struggles with new people. I honestly was worried that she wouldn’t go outside with the first visit when I wasn’t home. Within two days she she was totally OK with being around Jennie! Jennie has also been so kind to her and mindful, for instance, it was really hot today so she kept her in the grass instead of the pavement. She sits with her even when she’s done with the walk. I could not have asked for a better human to watch my pup! I have her on repeat for drop ins 3x every week while I’m at work and will continue to do so!”
About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

About my Pet Care Experience: I am an experienced foster for many types of pets, ranging from week-old bottle-babies to elderly large dogs and different cats. Routine is important! I have learned to provide specific schedules for all types of fur babies depending on their needs. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor's in nursing, so I am booked Mondays all day and Wednesday mornings. I make lots of tie for pets, as I recognize the value in enrichment. I run in the mornings, so let me know if your dog/dogs would like to join me as well! Water is always fresh and available, food is provided on a schedule unless otherwise noted. Two kids later, potty training another living thing is not a priority but I cant resist tail wags and couch snuggles whenever I’m around animals. About: Growing up with cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog person. I have rescued two dogs, both of which like to shadow us. I work from home next to an open doggy door all day. Our guests have access to a large fenced in yard, the opportunity to have some quiet time if they need it, and endless toys and bones to play with. Kyle and I are available often; the only restrictions we have include traveling that we do a handful of times throughout the year. When we aren’t traveling or working, Kyle likes to fish and I am focused on my art which takes place in my home. We have very few restrictions in our house when it comes to the dogs. (I think our only restriction is to table food, they don’t get any.) They have free rein of our large, fenced in back yard. If a dog needs their space, they go to another floor. I have a door that separates upstairs and down with comfortable areas in both locations for them to be alone with toys, bones, dog beds, and human furniture with full and easy access to all. If I am downstairs (in my studio) they will be with me. From my studio, they have direct access to the backyard via doggy door which is almost always open.

Kim, however, was a complete professional and was able to get my dog outside for the bathroom and back inside, understanding my dog’s needs. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone, especially as calm and collected as she was in a non-standard walking situation. Can’t say enough about how great Kim is.

Amanda was fantastic and truly went above and beyond while watching our dog Max. Not only did she take the utmost care of him but she also spent time keeping him company and sent us picture updates each visit. She just has an incredible way with animals. Even though she was there for Max, I was shocked to see our shyest cat (who I was positive would stay completely hidden) feeling comfortable enough to come out and sit with her. As first timers we feel really lucky to have found her and will absolutely look to use her services again.
Can I give 10 stars?! Celia is helping with our frenchie puppy, Tito, who is still recovering from a broken elbow and she's been a life saver. He needs some extra attention and Celia is amazing with him. Not only does she hang out with him, she also works with him a little bit with training.
