About: As a Reiki master, I bring calm, intuitive care, reading body language so dogs feel safe, understood, relaxed, and supported during walks, visits, and companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I prioritize time for walks, outdoor activity, and calm companionship so each dog receives attentive, unhurried care. My approach is calm, structured, and attentive. I follow the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and rest while adding enrichment, play, and simple obstacle course activities when appropriate.
About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.
“Our flights were delayed which caused our trip to be 2 extra days. This made me nervous because we were out of the country and needed someone to make sure our dogs were okay. Emma, with no hesitation, said she would take care of it, and we didn’t have to worry! We really appreciated her care with our dog all week, and she took great pictures.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life but lost my 12 year old Bernese in July ‘22. My daughter and I have plenty of love to give and want you to feel safe when you need to leave your family dog or cat for awhile. I work in the school system so I’m available in the evenings and on the weekends. I have Friday’s marked as available for house sitting or boarding but that means I can start once I am off work Friday afternoon. I live in a townhouse so I would board in my home or yours depending on preference. If using my home we would walk on leash or go to the park. I’m also available to take your pup for a walk, to visit and play or just make sure they get to go bathroom and are safe until you get back home.
About: As a person who has been the primary care taker of my pets since I was 8, I know the right way to take care of animals and know how hard it can be to find quality care for our furry friends. With 2 cats of my own and with several previously owned dogs, I know I can provide excellent care to all kinds of animals! I also have a Veterinary Assisting degree, so also being able to alert owners of any health issues to be wary of is something I take seriously! Pet care is a daily task, as such I am able to do daily walks and be able to do other care tasks throughout the day so that your pet feels enriched and loved even when you’re away. I understand dog behavior to a good degree as I studied it while in school to earn my degree, so being able to safely walk a dog even if they are reactive is something I feel comfortable with.
“Ryan did a superb job watching our fur baby. She is conscientious and he warmed to her right away. We felt confident that Ryan was giving him great care and will definitely be using her again!”

“Christine is an excellent dog sitter. Her visits were right on time and our 3 dogs loved her. We live a bit further, in Champion Hills but it was no issue at all for her to come over and let them out 3 times a day. We will definitely use her again and I highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs.”

About: I have over 2 decades of experience in all types of animal care; including dog sitting/boarding, doggy daycare, and assisting vets. I also spent ten years raising and breeding boxers and working on a farm. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have pets of all kinds! I’ve always loved working with any kind of dog; I have no “restricted breeds” and I love all animals. I’m happy to help your 4 legged family members burn off some extra energy while you are away. You just let me know if they prefer to take walks, or to go on hikes, pal around and socialize at a pet park, or just play around and soak up some attention and cuddles -I’ll take care of it! I am currently self-employed and work for my self. So my schedule is flexible and I’ll have time to give your pet all the attention and love they deserve! I will care for your pet in your home however they are used to! You let me know how you want them cared for and I’ll make sure it’s done.

We can relax and enjoy our trip - what a priceless gift she is! Thanks so much, Gwynn, for being amazing ??”

We are home nearly 24/7 because we work here also. So you can trust we will take great care of your fur baby. We are home nearly 24/7 because we work from home. Lots of space in our office and home for crates and play areas. Hard laminate flooring for easy cleaning of any accidents :)
“Amazing cat carer! Was willing to learn how to pill a cat because the beast needs pills twice a day exactly 12 hours apart. Automatic litter box broke down - no problems! She found a set up the traditional box AND EVEN CLEANED UP THE SPILLED LITTER AND CRAP!!!!! The cat loves her! I trust her.”

“Wow! Such a great experience with Jill and Eric. They took such great care of my cat. Sent multiple pics and gave the best commentary! Arrived promptly for each visit. Really great people. Thanks so much. We will definitely use them again!”

“Can I give 10 stars?! Celia is helping with our frenchie puppy, Tito, who is still recovering from a broken elbow and she's been a life saver. He needs some extra attention and Celia is amazing with him. Not only does she hang out with him, she also works with him a little bit with training.”

“Elizabeth was such a delight and godsend for us. She was very attentive to the needs of the pets, and showed care like they were her own. She is patient, and goes above and beyond with communication. We are very happy with finding her, definitely recommend her, and will be using her again. Welcoming someone into your home is always a bit anxiety inducing, but she made us feel very comfortable and confident to leave our precious animals in her care.”
“Elizabeth is absolutely wonderful. Communicative, willing to walk my reactive dog, very conscientious and I cannot recommend her enough. I can’t wait to use her again to take care of my babies! I’ve already signed up for another visit.”

About: I have been talking care of dogs with all kinds of personalities, sizes, ages, and special needs since was a kid. I also own cats and have experienced cat sitting from the past 4 years. I do have a full time job but the hours are very flexible and I am able to take my hour off most any time as well as adjust my start and end time. I am fully available weekends. While I do no have a fenced yard there is a dog park at my apartment complex so there is the option to run around off leash if your dog is non-reactive. If your dog is reactive that’s okay too but we will just stick to leashed walks.

“Emily is an exceptional sitter which is why this was our 2nd time calling on her. We wholly trust her with our dogs. She’s responsible, punctual, affectionate with our girls and followed the lengthy medication regimen for our older dog. She even gave us a reminder a few days before to confirm the upcoming visits. Emily gave us peace of mind through pictures of our pups and a detailed report of how they were doing while we were gone. We love and appreciate Emily and so do our girls!”

About: Hendersonville, NC based pet sitter with a love and passion for animals! I have work experience in the dog boarding/kenneling industry, adoption work at Blue Ridge Humane Society, veterinary receptionist work at a local animal hospital, and customer service in pet retail and did some dog washing/entry level grooming. We have a fenced backyard that’s about half an acre, a covered concrete patio with pergola for chill time. I am happy to work with your pet on basic commands such as sit, lay, and shake! Thank you for reaching out to me for your petsitting needs! I hope to talk with you soon! I work an early warehouse shift in Asheville from 6am-1pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. That allows me all afternoon and evening to go for dog walks, to the dog park, for a hike, for a outdoor lunch visit, or anywhere in-between. My husband leaves for work closer to 9 am, so the fur babes will be alone for no more than 5 hours. My work schedule can be flexible if we need to coordinate around your needed dates for care. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. We strive to love and care for your kiddos just as we do ours. We let them sleep in the bed with us, cuddle on the couch, give AND receive kisses, and lots of belly scratches. We recently lost two senior fur babies, so caring and loving on your kiddos is a security we understand you need when you’re away. We send lots of pics and videos to reassure you that they’re in good hands.
Hendersonville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amanda was fantastic and truly went above and beyond while watching our dog Max. Not only did she take the utmost care of him but she also spent time keeping him company and sent us picture updates each visit. She just has an incredible way with animals. Even though she was there for Max, I was shocked to see our shyest cat (who I was positive would stay completely hidden) feeling comfortable enough to come out and sit with her. As first timers we feel really lucky to have found her and will absolutely look to use her services again.
