Pets = family. For me-and you!
Animals have been my life since the day I was born. In fact, "cat" was the first word I ever said (true story!). I grew up on a small farm caring for horses, donkeys, cows, chickens, barn cats, and more. In my adult life, I've always had at least one or two furry friends around. I've cared for senior cats, rescue cats, pups of all shapes and sizes ... even a fully trained German Shepherd (who comes everywhere with me!).

I prioritize calm, reassuring environments and practice positive reinforcement (rather than disciplinary punishment) when training, teaching, or exposing my pets to new things. Soft, sweet, and encouraging is my approach.

Amber has watched our cats several times and has always been incredibly trustworthy and kind with them. Also, our cats like children, so we appreciate when she brings her's to see them!
Amber is my go-to and is always excellent! This time I left I forgot to order more food for my cat, so I door dashed some and she brought it in right away and filled up his food dispenser, easing my worries. I will continue to hire her because she is so great and I know my little guy loves her 😊
Amber does an amazing job and always communicates so well. We feel very comfortable leaving our pup when she’s taking care of her.

Amber was amazing with our cat, Bentley. I was very comfortable being away from her for over a week because Amber took great care of Bentley. I could tell Bentley really trusted her by the second visit and enjoyed time with her. Besides the obvious logistics of feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning the litter box, she took a lot of extra time to play with her and give her lots of pets. I could see all this attention through the pictures she sent. I will definitely use Amber to take care of Bentley again.
Amber once again was great! I feel very comfortable leaving her to check on my little guy while I’m gone and I know he loves the attention. She keeps me regularly updated and informed (of when my little brat knocks over food from the counter and eats it 🙄 lol). I will gladly continue to hire Amber 😊

Schedule
Right now, I have a fully trained German Shepherd (Dally) and two rescue cats (Otto and Harper). I try to incorporate them into my daily life as much as possible. The cats sometimes explore our property and supervise as my daughter and I do yard work. Dally comes everywhere with me (hiking, bike rides, camping, neighborhood walks, out-of-state family vacations, and more). My schedule is their schedule and I wouldn't have it any other way!
