About: We have almost always had pets! I have been pet sitting for friends, clients and family, as needed for the last 8 years! I am familiar with dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, birds and fish. I shave and bathe my own cats, if that doesn't display how much they trust me, I don't know what does. I love all animals and think they all deserve to be treated with love and respect. I enjoy hiking and walking so if that is something your pets like, I would love to take them to do that, on leash of course. I have a full-time job. So,I am looking to pick up extra pet jobs when you go out of town or need an extra hand! Afternoons after work, mornings on the weekends also available. I do not allow other pets in my home as I have two cats that are scared if others, including people. Usually when pet sitting, I do so in the clients home. I stay in a spare room and clean up after myself and the pets. The last thing you want when you come home from a trip is more cleaning!

About: As a person who has been the primary care taker of my pets since I was 8, I know the right way to take care of animals and know how hard it can be to find quality care for our furry friends. With 2 cats of my own and with several previously owned dogs, I know I can provide excellent care to all kinds of animals! I also have a Veterinary Assisting degree, so also being able to alert owners of any health issues to be wary of is something I take seriously! Pet care is a daily task, as such I am able to do daily walks and be able to do other care tasks throughout the day so that your pet feels enriched and loved even when you’re away. I understand dog behavior to a good degree as I studied it while in school to earn my degree, so being able to safely walk a dog even if they are reactive is something I feel comfortable with.

About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.

About: Lifelong pet owner and animal intuitive. I have worked with all types of pets providing assistance with special care in addition to walks and general care. Care only provided in your home. At this time I do not have a pet companion but miss them dearly. Once I have an established routine in the area I will be in search of another furry walking companion. I am relocating back to the WNC / Landrum area after being a nomad for 5 years. I am available throughout the Saluda, Hendersonville and Landrum area and am doing human caregiving throughout the WNC area. If your dog agrees I am open to taking them on local hikes. Pet care in your home only; I have worked as a house sitter/pet sitter in NC for several years in addition to personal caregiver for 15+ years.

About: Please Read All Before Contacting: I am currently only available for overnight stays from 5:00pm- 7:30am during the weekdays and am available for an extended time frame on the weekends and holidays for an extended rate fee. For all bookings I require a meet and great before the booking dates. This free meet and greet will last around 30 mins so I can meet the fur baby and the family, get acquainted to your home and pets life style. We will talk about the needs during the meet and greet. I will take notes, but I do require for written information or instructions to either be sent to me or left at the home for me. I will not accept a booking without a meet and greet. These are very important to make sure we are a right fit for each other. Keeps everyone safe and at ease. ALSO: Your time and my time and communication are very important to me. When we schedule a meet and greet please be sure that you are certain that you do require my services and are able to meet. Please, communicate with me if your plans have changed in a timely manner and I will do the same. Failure of communications prevents other fur parents to reach out to me regarding care for their fur babies for those dates. I have spent 17 years taking care of all kinds of doggies and kitties. Before becoming an Independent contractor on Rovers platform I would care for coworkers and friends pets in their home during their vacations or business trips. I have established trust with many people. I Love these fur babies like my own. Enjoy building this bond with them that lasts a lifetime. I will only sit in your fur babies home where they are in their element and feel most comfortable. This also means that you get a house sitter caring for your home as well. I like to make sure that I leave the space as clean or cleaner than when I arrived . This means that I will be cleaning up after myself and the fur babies when I am there. I love being active and will provide your fur baby with the necessary mental and physical stimulation they needs. I will take care of your fur babies and your home like my own. About: I will care your pets like a family. I will give them the attention and care they need, my family , neighbors ,relatives and friends trusted me with their pets . I’m currently working full time, but I also work from home ... so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup’s I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. I have a fence yard and I can easily crate your dog if needed. I have a pup to accompany your dog and to play with.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and other animals since I was little. I love animals so much and want every dog to reach there happiness for the day. People have relied on me for multiple things from walking, house care, and bathing their pets. I’m currently a full time teacher and only free on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Once June comes I’m free everyday to support all our furry friends. I take my own dog on multiple walks daily and play with her favorite toys too. I would be extremely careful and energetic with your pets.

About: HOWDY! I have taken care of dogs for 10+ years and have extra experience with large dog breeds and senior dogs. I recently lost my 11year old Rottweiler, Archer, and would love to utilize my knowledge and unspent doggy love to care for your pets! My availability is weekdays from 8am-5 pm, perfect for those working a regular schedule. I have no time limits as long as I can fit my visit in with others. I also have a dog hammock in my car if you want me to take your dog to a specific trail or don't have a good walking area near your residence. Allowing someone access to your home and pet takes a large amount of trust and I honor that! What is most important to me is that the owners instructions and preferences will be followed exactly. I practice extreme caution and safety especially in public spaces with other dogs. Because every dog is different, I will ask you many questions on what your priorities are for my visit with your dog. I might even have suggestions if you are struggling with something specific.

About: I've always had an affinity for animals and an easy time winning their trust. They have amazing instincts! My daughter is involved with animal rescue and is cheering me on. Through her and from sitting for friends, I have experience with dogs and cats of varying breeds, backgrounds and behavioral traits. I am often called upon when my friends need a sitter so figured I may as well go rover with it. Hi folks. I am currently in Spain working as a language assistant and am looking for a housesitting arrangement in the Asheville/Hendersonville area for this summer. I will only charge a fee if there is a pet involved. Otherwise, I think it is a fair exchange. The website forces me to charge at least $15 but we can work around that. Please let me know if you think I may be a good fit for you. I am unable to offer the service of caring for pets in my own home as I am in a transitional period and only available for the summer. I greatly value your home, pets and your trust and behave accordingly.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life but lost my 12 year old Bernese in July ‘22. My daughter and I have plenty of love to give and want you to feel safe when you need to leave your family dog or cat for awhile. I work in the school system so I’m available in the evenings and on the weekends. I have Friday’s marked as available for house sitting or boarding but that means I can start once I am off work Friday afternoon. I live in a townhouse so I would board in my home or yours depending on preference. If using my home we would walk on leash or go to the park. I’m also available to take your pup for a walk, to visit and play or just make sure they get to go bathroom and are safe until you get back home.
