“Alex did an absolutely amazing job with my animals while we were out of town getting married. He was completely unfazed by 4 dogs and a cat, all running wild. He took such great care of all of them, sent the most adorable pictures of them, so we never had to stress that our babies were in good hands. Phenomenal job, we will gladly have Alex come back again any time we need a sitter ♥️”

“Jessica was the BEST pet sitter!!! I will be suggesting her to all my friends and family locally!! She sent lots of pictures and took the time to mix up the food the very particular way I do for my cat. She played with him, pet and cuddle him and kept his litter clean! I'm so so grateful to have found her!!”

“Mallory was great! Very communicative during her visit and sent lots of pics & videos!! My babygirl loved hanging out with her! Will definitely be having her hangout with my little girl again!!”

“Sydney took care of our snake while we were out of town. She went above and beyond by watering plants and bringing in packages too. Excellent communication, we will absolutely reach out to book her again.”

“Ashley was amazing! She got my little guy to come out of his shell and exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful to have found someone trustworthy to check in on my cat while I am away.”

About: Expert in ear scratches for critters big and small. I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I love to run, if you’re looking to get exercise for your pup. I also have experience with senior animals that just want to snuggle. I’m available every weekend and work part time during the week. I can work walks or runs in with your pet during the week the week as well. I’d love to check on your pet in the comfort of their home, where all their favorite toys and treats are. I’m looking forward to scheduling!
About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Cheeto, a Redbone Coonhound who loves other dogs!
“Wow! Such a great experience with Jill and Eric. They took such great care of my cat. Sent multiple pics and gave the best commentary! Arrived promptly for each visit. Really great people. Thanks so much. We will definitely use them again!”

About: **I work full time at Mission Hospital M-F during the week so if you are in need of full day sitting then I wouldn't be available.*" I have 14 years experience as an animal care provider and I'm able to train animals using positive reinforcement methods. I've trained animals in leash walking, dinner time manners, night time routines, special tricks, negating biting, barking, licking, begging, pulling on walks, aggression, and much more. I've provided care for varying breeds and temperaments and I'm available for extended stays (+20days). I give full, undivided attention to the animals I care for and it gives me great joy to see them so happy. I try to treat the animals I care for as I would like to be taken care of with dignity, love, respect, and lots of playing outside! For full-day or overnight stays, I am with your pets the entirety of the stay (unless to go on a quick trip to the grocery store). I normally work around schedules to help pet families as much as I can. I love all animals and am privileged to care for them, so they receive my full attention when in my care. I make sure that not only are their needs and the owner's needs are being met, but that they have fun and are happy while their owners are away.

“Adelynn was great with my two cat siblings. She even located my super skittish boy who NEVER appears for strangers and had photo evidence of life. It was so reassuring and definitely spoke her to her thorough care. Will definitely try to connect with her again when needed!”

“My kitty wasn't feeling his usual self this morning and I was worried. I messaged Ryan and she was was able to work visits into her day to check on him while I was at work. Whatever it was seems to be better. I am sure Ryan's attention to him helped.”
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have a deep love for all animals and do my best to give them all the care and attention they deserve. I will be new to the Asheville area, so I am only currently available on weekends. However, I will be available full time once I complete my move in June! I make sure to provide my animals with ample playtime and stimulation. I always clean up after them properly and keep anything that may be a threat to their health out of sight and out of mind!
About: Hello! My name is Hannah T. and I am an extreme dog lover! I have 3 babies of my own and they range from different sizes and personalities! Lacey: Shih Tzu, 7 years old and couch potato! Lacey is my first doggie and she is the best thing that has happened to me! Reesie: Big fluffy Australian Shepherd that’s afraid of his own shadow! This is my rescue baby and is very aggressive (for the time being) and he is getting much better! He has taught me how to be patient and steady with a doggy that has had a rougher life in the beginning! Sadie: She is my crazy puppy that is a mini Bernadoodle and Reesies therapy dog! She is the perfect medium between my two babies and is gentle with both! I love puppy energy! I can handle all temperaments and sizes! Don’t we all love dogs of all shapes and sizes! Message me if you have any questions! I can only work on rover Fridays and Sundays and most holidays! I have a full time job Monday- Thursday! I can work all day those days! “Nat was awesome with my fur baby! Kept a great check on her while I was away and sent me frequent updates. We did a quick meet and greet before hand as well which was very nice. Would recommend for your fur babies as well! :)”

So I will be great to your pet(s)!! I’m currently working part time, so I’m free to look after fur babies the majority of times. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Fletcher
Answered my emergency request in a timely manor, communication was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure my boys were ok given the circumstances. Initial entry was a bit shaky, however he course corrected and cleaned up any messes made inside the home. Grateful to him for stepping in and going the extra mile.

Lisa & Angie agreed fit a visit in with my pups with short notice after a last minute sitter cancellation. We immediately felt comfortable and confident leaving our dogs in their care. They stayed in communication and shared a detailed report on the visit. We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of their care & would absolutely leave our two dogs in their care in the future!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
