About: I have been a pet owner my whole life, owning all sizes from golden retrievers to chihuahuas. Cats too. Now instead of owning, I look after them. This brings me joy. I have loads of free time as I only work outside of my home 7 hours a week. A 4 hour shift and a 3 hour shift at a local art gallery. Typically I become your pets surrogate human. I move into your home to care for your pets. I bring all of my own food and when I leave your place I leave no trace of my stay. That is very important to me.

About: I have 4 years of professional animal care experience, and have grown up around dogs and cats. I’ve provided care for dogs, cats and reptiles. I’m comfortable working with animals with special needs. I currently work full-time on week days from 8-4. If you live within 10 minutes of West Asheville I am able to provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours. If you live further out, I can provide breaks every 8 hours. I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule and I have no pets of my own, so all of my attention can be on your fur babies!! I can’t currently offer boarding in my home as my roommate has a dog, but I am happy to come to your house. If needed, I can provide plant care during my stay, and will ensure you come home to a clean house and happy animals.

About: With 2 cattle dogs of my own, my love for animals has been consistent throughout my life. My day revolves around making my pups happy and comfortable, I would ensure that same standard to your furry friends. Special meals, walks, fetch, enrichment, and more, catering to your pal is my mission. I am a personal trainer and currently only work online, the only time I am out of the house is for any grocery runs or a workout of my own. I am constantly around for any animals needs as I have 2 very spoiled and needy dogs, and 2 hungry cats of my own. We live in a home in fletcher on 4 acres and a pond with an unfenced yard. Cats have a designated room with 2 litter boxes, lots of toys and food. Doggy day care includes fetch and or walks around the hilly neighborhood, maybe a dip in the pond! Dogs who are not off-leash trained will be on leash any time out doors.

About: I’ve been animal sitting for my friends and family for over 10 years, and I grew up around all types of animals. I genuinely enjoy caring for them and even foster animals in my spare time. I have experience with multiple dogs, including those with medical needs. I work remotely during the week and off during the weekend. I am a morning person so up usually very early and flexible during the workday to make sure they get the proper care and attention. I make sure that they are given my full attention, love and care. I will make sure they have fresh water and food and play time and exercise!

About: We both love animals of all kinds. We have always had pets in our lives and have loved being dog sitters for friends and family over the years. We are currently the proud parents of two wonderful dogs, Honeybee and Charlie. We have experience with special care for senior dogs. Our dog Carlos was blind and deaf for the last few years of his life, and had diabetes, requiring insulin shots every 12 hours. We have some dog training skills and have helped Honeybee on her path, starting as a wild rescue puppy to being the well-behaved young lady that she is now. We believe in positive reinforcement training and understand dog behavior enough to know when to step in and intervene. I (Ethan) am currently working a very flexible schedule of driving for Uber and Lyft. My schedule allows me to be home often and to stop by and check on Charlie and Honeybee and any visiting dogs frequently when I am working. If we have doggy daycare clients I am able to stay home all day. Hope is around on evenings and weekends and is always ready for playtime and snuggles with the pups. I am currently sharing residence with my partner Hope (who loves dogs as much as I do!) and she shares in the care of all the dogs. We have a large, fenced-in yard in the heart of West Asheville. We won’t leave your dogs outdoors unattended and will respect any special requirements as to the safety of your beloved babies. We understand the need for routine in a dog's life and will be happy to abide by whatever feeding/medication schedule, exercise needs, etc. that your dog has.

About: Outside of watching friends and coworkers animals, I grew up in a house where any animal was welcome, so between me and my siblings over the years there were lots to take care of I have a very flexible schedule so I can work with most anybody needing service within a reasonable range. I do weekends overnights or long stays. Ide care for anyone else’s pet like I would my own, as someone who can’t stomach leaving there pet somewhere with anyone I understand completely

About: I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them never feels like work to me. I’m an active person who loves walks and playtime with energetic pups, but I’m equally happy giving a cat some quiet company and affection or simply respecting the space of a pet who prefers to do their own thing. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I’ve cared for pets through TrustedHousesitters, including cats, active dogs, and senior pets with different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m also happy to share reviews from my previous sits. I’m a pet mom myself to Daisy, our sweet, social, and playful Golden Retriever. We’re not looking to add another pet to our family right now, but Daisy loves other dogs, so welcoming a friendly pup into our home gives her a chance to make new friends and enjoy some meaningful playtime too. As a pet parent, I know how much peace of mind comes from knowing your animal isn’t simply being “watched.” I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. That might mean long walks and playtime, lots of snuggles and attention, or giving a shy or independent pet the space and patience they need to feel comfortable. When I leave Daisy with someone, I love knowing that she’s not just safe, but actually having a good time. I want her stay to feel like a fun little getaway rather than being left behind. That’s the same feeling I hope to give you when you leave your pet in my care. Whether I’m walking your pup, checking in on your cat, or welcoming your dog into our home, my goal is simple: to treat your pet with the same attention, kindness, and care I’d want for my own. 🧚‍♀️🐾✨ My schedule is very flexible during the week, which gives me plenty of time for walks, play, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. My Rover calendar will always reflect my current availability! We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. I want your dog’s stay to feel as comfortable and familiar as possible, so tell me all about their normal routine: where they sleep, whether they’re crate-trained, feeding schedule, favorite activities, quirks, and anything else that helps them feel at home. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a dachshund and a rottweiler (quite the duo!), and later on I had a bull terrier of my own that I absolutely adored. I also lived with a golden retriever, so I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of personalities and energy levels. For the past 10 years, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family. They trust me because they know their pups will get more than just the basics, they’ll get love, attention, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or just keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. Right now I have full-time availability, which means your pet will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Since I’m not balancing another job, I can easily work around your pet’s routine, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. In my home, pets have plenty of space to feel comfortable — I live alone in a 3-bedroom house, so there’s lots of room for them to play, explore, or just relax. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live in a very walkable neighborhood, so I make sure they get plenty of walks and outdoor time. I’m also happy to care for pets in their own home if that’s where they feel most comfortable. Whether at my place or yours, I always make sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they need.

About: I have 4 years of kennel and veterinary experience. I have experience with old and young dogs and administering medications/caring for elderly animals with extra needs. I also have experience with aggressive and skittish dogs and cats from many years of volunteering at the Humane Society. I have groomed dogs of varying size while working at the kennel and can handle different breeds coats and needs. I have 3 Siberian Huskies of my own. I take them for an hour walk everyday and I am more than happy to include your pet in that routine. If they prefer to go on walks by themselves I can make time for that as well. I am available at any time of the day because I work from home. I am happy for them to stay in my home or I can come to you if your dog is more comfortable in their own environment. I have a fenced in backyard at my house and my dogs love to play with new friends. They always do a good job of making other dogs feel included and welcome. Luckily they are not territorial in any way. My dogs have free rein of the house. I do not crate my pets because they are luckily respectful of the house when I am not there. I have a medium sized crate from when they were puppies, but if you need your dog crated and they are a large dog you may have to provide your own! I monitor my dogs all day, if I do leave them it is to go grocery shopping or for a quick workout, I will never leave your dog for more than 2 hours. I am also very happy to update you throughout the day with pictures and videos so you can see how your baby is doing:)
