Knows exactly how to make friends with cats. Had them rubbing up on her and getting pets right away. Also knows cat routines and what to expect. Highly recommended.

About: I am a 34 year old part-time fitness professional looking to supplement my income with two things I love; walking and hanging out with dogs :) I completed an internship at Asheville Humane Society doing community outreach in the summer of 2020 so I gained a lot of knowledge pertaining to dog handling and behavior. I am very active and spend most of my free time doing activities like walking while listening to podcasts/audiobooks anyway, so having a dog with me makes it that much better. I’m currently working part-time from home from around 8:00 to 10:00 so I have plenty of time to spend with animals. Even while working, I can break away and step outside or do any other necessary tasks. There is a gap in my services and reviews after 2022 because I took some time to focus fully on my personal training career, but have recently decided to pivot again back to dogsitting and taking a break from my business. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! I’m currently working about 10 hours a week so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I walk outside a lot and spend plenty of time working from my computer as well so will be at the house a lot but also actively taking them outside when I need to take a break from computer work. I do not offer in home stays but at your house: I follow instructions accurately and make sure to stay on a consistent routine so that nothing important gets missed. Like I said, I’ll be around a lot so they will receive plenty of attention!

About: Well I have quite a few experiences with pets, especially dogs… I currently work part-time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility where I am the closing lead at. Before the job I work at currently, I had worked at another doggy daycare/boarding facility where it had let me gain the experience I needed to hop into my position at my current job. Also on the side I have pet sat for some friends and family friends… along with all of that I do have my own dog, her name is Goose and she is a rescue! Goose and I have had a long journey of ups and downs dealing with making her more confident in the word, which really sparked an interest in training and rehabilitating dogs. I have yet to get my certifications for training, but they’re coming soon I care for pets on the regular, whether it be at work for 8 hours a couple days a week of at the end of the day with my dog. I care for animals most part of my days, even if I am at my friends house, you will see me attached to their cat/dog I deal with a bunch of pets with a bunch of needs. At work, we have dogs that need medicine at a timely manor or they have specific meals that need to be prepped. So far i’ve dealt with a bunch of specific pet needs, that I feel like I could easily adapt to any new pets.

About: Pets have been part of my caregiving life for decades. Through years of in-home care for elderly and ill clients, I’ve walked, fed, and loved countless dogs and cats — including seniors and pets needing medication. I treat every animal with the same patience and attention I give people. As a retired caregiver, I have a flexible, open schedule and can give your pet consistent, reliable attention. I’m generally available most days and will work with you to find timing that aligns with your travel plans. I specialize in both short and longer-term overnight house and pet sitting. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d give my own. With years of experience managing households, I follow your pet’s routines, administer medications if needed, and keep everything safe, clean, and calm. Your home will be just as you left it, your pet even happier.

About: Hello! My Name is Justin Gardner. I have resided on a large tract of pristine farm land located 20 miles north of Asheville, sitting perfectly between Weaverville and Marshall. For anyone looking to give their dog a true country getaway, this is a paradise. If your pup doesn't always get the chance to fully experience nature, our wide-open spaces to explore and a fully fenced-off yard offer the ultimate safe freedom. Dogs have been a central part of my life since early childhood, and that lifelong passion continues today with our own beloved resident dogs. We understand dog behavior, respect their individual routines, and treat every guest like a member of the family. Whether your dog loves to run wide-open spaces or just wants to sniff the mountain air and lounge on the porch, they will find their perfect rhythm here. Working primarily from home allows me to provide attentive, full-time care and regular outdoor exercise. I can host overnight (Short or Long term) boarding seamlessly as long as owners provide their dog's personal items and necessary accommodations, allowing your pup to enjoy a safe, country retreat with all the comforts of home. Safety and socialization go hand-in-hand here. My dog Rocco, a friendly Catahoula Leopard Hound, has six years of excellent experience interacting with other dogs and is always eager to welcome new playmates. Playtime in our fully fenced yard is entirely supervised, and I can easily crate your dog for meals or bedtime to ensure a structured, safe stay.

Bradly did a great job watching our two dogs while we were out of town for a few days. We had him drop in 3 times a day. He arrived promptly at the designated times, fed, walked and played with our pups. He is very kind and responsive giving us comfort that they were getting the attention they need. Our English Springer Spaniel is full of energy and Brad was able to give him the play time fetching sticks to burn off some of his energy. We live on a few acres so having someone that is also active was important to us. We trusted Bradly with our home and pets and would definitely use him again.

About: I am a grounded and compassionate person, who absolutely loves animals! Dogs and cats are my specialty, but have cared for goats , chickens and bunnies! Ive been filling my free time dog/cat walking and house sitting for the last 6 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. I connect right away with my fury customers and they are always excited to see me. I provided daily walks, plenty of play time, treats for tricks and lots of love . My schedule is usually open and I am able to overnight house sit if needed. I think your furrbaby would be overjoyed to have me as there care giver and friend! My schedule is open at the moment, and im always looking for any chance i can get to play with animals. My calendar is always up to date and my response time is within a couple hours. Animals have special kind of souls, they speak to us without words and unconditionally love us. I try to read what your animal needs and comfort them while you are away. Every animal is different and comes with their own personality, i like to nurture that part of them while helping them feel safe and loved.

About: I have always loved and cared for animals since I was young. I have taken care of my own and other people's fur babies. I love when my friend's pets get excited to see me because I equally share their joy! Dogs: I have always loved dogs and had at least 1 since childhood until a few years ago sadly. The automatic baby voice comes out when I see them! I have found myself spending more time with the dogs than the humans at gatherings sometimes and I love it. I love all breeds and sizes! I ask each owner if it’s okay for me to “say hi”/pet their fur baby before doing so while in passing on walks and such. I tell my kitties often that they will have a canine sibling soon! Cats: Currently a cat mom of 2, the stars in my pictures! I was ignorant of cats until I found my own, and now I deeply appreciate and understand wholeheartedly the love earned from such individual little creatures. My kitties are my shadows, I never use the restroom alone. They have taught me so much and I love the unique personality that I find in each one of them. I know how important it is to respect their space (especially if they're more standoffish) and ensure they have all their resources, especially when their humans are away! Currently working my own flexible schedule so I can make any time work that your fur baby needs. Some pets are used to early mornings and some are used to late evenings. Whatever works for yours! My kitties eat raw, so I make their food daily and give them specific supplements and treats depending on their behavior and the litterbox situation. I'm in tune with my kitty's behaviors and meows knowing what they're requesting in that moment. When caring for other people's pets, I'm mindful of where we use the bathroom (if possible) and clean up appropriately. No details are too many, I'm very supportive of specific needs and how your fur baby may be familiar with their care.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom always had at least three dogs in the house along with a few cats, and I would regularly take care of them whenever she was away. Currently, she has four dogs, a miniature horse, and chickens, so I’m very familiar with a wide range of animals and their needs. I’ve also taken in pets from family members who were unable to care for them due to moves or life changes, which has given me even more hands on experience. I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, and I’m open to looking after other kinds of animals as well. I truly love animals and treat them with a lot of care and respect…I won’t even kill a spider, if that gives you a sense of how I am with them. I work mostly remote and do some overnight caregiving on the side. I will have a lot of time between October and mid April as I will not be caregiving in those months! I wish to care for animals at my clients home. So whatever they instruct me to do! I love hiking so I would love to take your dogs on adventures if it is allowed!

I promise to treat your pets as my own. They will be in good hands! I’m currently working part time and I have a flexible job that allows me to make my own schedule each day. I am able to be there for your pet many different hours in the week! I have a yard, unfortunately not fenced but I am comfortable with keeping on leash- and no nearby neighbors have dogs. About: I've taken care of just about every animal since I was born. Especially cats and dogs but I've also taken care of reptiles, fish, chickens, rats, gerbils, hamsters, and even bugs. I've handled difficult dog breeds including pitbulls and preydriven rottweilers in a cat home. I am also not shy to pee or poop or any sick pets as I've been in and out of the vets offices as well. Im looking to possibly make this full time. So I am available just about whenever you need me to be there. This includes weekends as well. I am very pet friendly and enjoy being interactive no matter the species. Whether it's letting the crickets run so the bearded dragon can get some exercise or walking the puppy around the yard.

About: Hi! I'm an experienced caregiver and sitter, and have cared for both dogs and cats of different ages, breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I've been housesitting and petsitting both locally and places I've traveled, and have been a nanny and babysitter in families' homes as well. I'm familiar with feeding, walking and outdoor play, administering medication, and litter box changing. I consider myself affectionate with pets and I'm always happy to give them lots of cuddles, let them sleep in the bed with me, or give them time to warm up if needed. I'm clean, organized, a non-smoker, fully vaccinated, and keep homes neat and tidy while staying there. I have a green thumb as well and love plants, so I'm happy to help with any plant or garden care as well while you're away! My schedule is typically flexible, so I'm able to accommodate most pet care arrangements. I’m able to take dogs for walks, let cats and dogs in/out for potty breaks, and do feedings at different points throughout the day. As a visiting pet-sitter in your home, I follow instructions carefully and ensure that the wellbeing of the pet(s) are first priority. I ensure that pets always have their necessary food and water, get their potty breaks in, and have human time too with attention and cuddles. As a dog walker, I make an effort to familiarize myself with the area and neighborhood, make sure we're on safe routes, and always pick up after them. As a caregiver, I'm communicative and reliable when it comes to booking and scheduling, and as a guest in your home I'm clean, organized, and conscious of common spaces and noise if you're working from home. I've worked in several different styles of homes over the years, ranging from city apartments, to suburban homes, to rural houses in remote areas, giving me a broad range of experience when it comes to caring for pets in varying environments.

Michelle has done several drop in visits with our cat, Leonard. I expect Leonard knows her well by now. Leonard is a cat who seems to like routines and she always comes at approximately the same time each day. She always provides us with photos and videos and has watered our plants in addition to the cat care she does. We know Leonard is in good hands with her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
