About: I have experience with show dogs and have had pets my whole life. I have a cat with health needs so I’m able to follow even the strangest requests for your fur baby. I can work evenings and some mornings when I’m off from my full time job. Looking for a productive way to fill some of my free time I’ll follow any instructions you have to make sure it’s like you never left your little one in my hands. I have an attention to detail due to my own pets “special” requirements
“Jessie was absolutely amazing!! Will definitely be rebooking with him in the future 🙂. Can't say enough good things about him and how good we felt leaving our old hound dog in his care.”

“Alexis took great care of Maple and Arlo. Many pictures sent during her drop-in visits, with detailed updates. Great communication the entire time. We came home to very happy dogs! Grateful we found someone we can trust.”

About: I currently work as an apprentice dog trainer, which my hours are 7-3 from Tuesday through Saturday. Working with your animals is more than just a side gig, it’s helping me gain experience in a field that is all about experience! I have experience training puppies and taking care of senior pets, so I can assure you, your pet will be well taken care of while you’re out of town! If you have any training questions I am more than happy to answer them! I have 2 dogs and 1 cat, none of which would come with me to these overnight stays. Pet care is my whole life. I work at a doggy daycare when I have time, volunteer at shelters and work as an apprentice dog trainer full time. This field is something that is extremely important to me. Taking care of your furry friends is not a chore. My approach focuses on providing a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for your pet. I will try my best to stick to your normal routine so the pup doesn't get too misplaced with you being away. They get set on schedules so quickly. I will not push them out of their comfort zones, in order to create a closer connection with your pup. I make sure to give every animal the amount of playtime they're used to and get their energy out. Your pup will be have so much fun with me!
“Super great pet care!! Each check in was described well and I got photos of my pets each time. She even met me an extra time so I could hand over my keys before leaving, and was super understanding when I forgot to send a delivery code once! I felt like my pets were in great hands!”

About: Hello! My name is Heather. I am 53 and semi-retired. I drive for Uber to fill some of my time. I have cared for animals all of my life, starting with a farm when I was little. My first dog was named Tandy and my first cat was Tasha. I have been a fur baby mamma, pretty much always, as well as a sitter for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, kittens and senior animals. I recently moved to Asheville and into a place that doesn’t allow pets. I miss having a fur baby, so it would be an honor to care for yours. I have a very open schedule. I drive for Uber part time, and other than that I like to fill my days with hiking, walking, pickleball and yoga. I would love to have a furry friend come along on my adventures! I am unable to bring pets into my rental home. I will travel to your home and stay overnight with your pet, and I will treat both with love, care and respect. I will make sure to follow feeding, potty and walking schedules closely. I will also ask about favorite games and comfort toys and routines. I will send pictures and a recap of the day. I want you, and your pet, to feel comfortable and safe.
“I couldn’t be happier with Natasha and how well she cared for our cats and sugar glider. She is very attentive, meticulous and our cats love her calming energy. So thankful to have found someone so kind and responsible that we can trust while we are away. Will definitely rebook with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was 10. I’ve helped numerous friends, neighbors, and family members with house sitting, dog walks, and pet care. I am currently a second year PA student on clinical rotations so I have a lot of flexibility to take care of your fur babies. I live in an apartment so I would prefer to take care of your fur baby in your own home but I am flexible to other arrangements.
“Sydney did a fantastic job with home visits for our cat while we were on vacation. She was great with updates and pictures. It was my first time using Rover, and she answered all my newbie questions graciously and quickly. I’d definitely book again!”

“Not to be dramatic, but Louise is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! My pup, Dolly, absolutely loves her and she’s always providing the sweetest most thoughtful updates and cute pictures. I always know Dolly will be well taken care of with Louise. I work long days in the summer months, so I need someone to give her exercise and attention during the day when I can’t. With other sitters I would come home and Dolly would still seem wound up, but she seems like she’s getting exactly what she needs with Louise. Couldn’t be happier with her!”

About: Professional and passionate about providing kind attentive care for your best friend. If new to Rover, I offer a $20 promo code off your first booking with me. I am home most of the day and take this responsibility as a privilege. This means a lot of love and it has served me well as a sitter. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and be a part of your care Journey. I do not have any pets currently and can accommodate doggos who do better as only animal in the home. I generally host only one dog a to give full spectrum attention but occasionally may have a second friendly dog. I prefer drop-offs 9 AM onward, but am flexible. I have a remote job and i'm home most of the day every day with occasional outings. My priority is your best friend at all times. I live in a Two story three bedroom house close to downtown and just minutes from the Biltmore houseattraction. I have a large backyard partially fenced. There are many fun places to explore. I prefer the owner to bring a crate if their dog is used to that or has any anxiuous tendencies when left alone so that they are Safe but not required. I have a dog bed and many bowls. I am available for house sitting in the Wilmington North Carolina area particularly over the holidays.
“Jacqueline took wonderful care of my cats while I was on holiday vacation. The cats really benefited from the multiple visits and time she took with them. It’s a big relief to have such a trusted and friendly Petsitter.”

About: The types of experience I’ve had was taking care of two of my friends dogs over the years and I myself have three dogs that I love and adore I'm currently in school in the morning , so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for House sitting, walking the dogs, drop-in visit, etc. Well all depends on the dog I’m going to take care of.. like one of my dog is very lazy for no reason and the other two are very hyper.. so what I do is that I walk the two dogs or take them to a dog park so they can play with other dogs and the other dog I just cuddle with him give him tummy rubs:)
About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, one sassy cat, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my daily schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
Shiloh dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie is fantastic! She’s punctual, thoughtful, understanding and so very helpful. In town temporarily and she sat for my girls for an all day event I had in another town. She was wonderful with them, even my diaper wearing senior pup. Her experience in caregiving and love of animals shows, it beams from her. Her energy is brightening and lightening. Highly recommend.

Carolyn was amazing with my animals. I appreciated her notes with them and her pictures. She went above and beyond with my cat making sure his litter was clean and making sure my dog got walked as much as possible. She made it easier for me to be away from them and I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone to watch their fur babies.

Maria is awesome! Highest possible recommendation. She is new to Rover but she has been house sitting for us for years and is the best house sitter we've ever had! Not only is Maria a superb animal caretaker and house sitter, she is who you want taking care of your house if something goes wrong. Over the years she has house sat for us, she's delt with plumbing, electrical and AC issues that have popped up while we are traveling. She handled all of them with the utmost care and professionalism. Again, we give Maria our highest recommendation for all pet services!

Our dogs love Elizabeth! For our first experience, we scheduled her for two one-hour drop-ins. She played with our babies, fed them, and even indulged them in their favorite summertime hobby: the kiddie pool. She sent texts with pictures and videos of our happy dogs, and went above and beyond drying them off and putting the towels on the washing machine. We came home that evening to happy tired dogs. We’ll definitely be asking her back. Thank you, Elizabeth!
