About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Kashmir, my Redbone Coonhound puppy who loves other dogs!

About: Hello! My name is Heather. I am 53 and semi-retired. I drive for Uber to fill some of my time. I have cared for animals all of my life, starting with a farm when I was little. My first dog was named Tandy and my first cat was Tasha. I have been a fur baby mamma, pretty much always, as well as a sitter for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, kittens and senior animals. I recently moved to Asheville and into a place that doesn’t allow pets. I miss having a fur baby, so it would be an honor to care for yours. I have a very open schedule. I drive for Uber part time, and other than that I like to fill my days with hiking, walking, pickleball and yoga. I would love to have a furry friend come along on my adventures! I am unable to bring pets into my rental home. I will travel to your home and stay overnight with your pet, and I will treat both with love, care and respect. I will make sure to follow feeding, potty and walking schedules closely. I will also ask about favorite games and comfort toys and routines. I will send pictures and a recap of the day. I want you, and your pet, to feel comfortable and safe.

About: i don't have a lot of experience in dog care other than taking care of friends dogs or the last few years, but i love being around dogs and really care about getting them out and giving them the exercise and social experiences they need. I love to take dogs our on runs and give them social opportunities with other dogs. I love animals and would love to be given the opportunity to love yours. The majority of my work is all open ended and very flexible. I can work pet care into all aspects of my life. There isn’t a lot that i’m doing currently that can take my attention away from your pets. I will not be bringing any pets to my house, but i will come to yours and do over night stays, extended stays, or walk your dogs if you will be out for more than 4 hours at a time. I will make sure your dogs and cats get clean fresh water and fed by whatever times you wish. i will keep the liter box clean and the yard clean as well.

About: I am new to Asheville, and I’m excited to spend my days exploring the area with your pup by my side! Since my husband works during the day, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your dog the one-on-one attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve; not just a quick visit. I’m also looking forward to learning about different breeds as my husband and I prepare for dog ownership ourselves, so you can trust that I’ll care for your dog with genuine enthusiasm, patience, and lots of love :) I relocated with my husband for his job, so my hours are pretty open with notice for the foreseeable future! I enjoy hiking and walking, so i am happy to combine those activities with taking your pet along :) Your dog will enjoy a calm, comfortable home in West Asheville with plenty of space to relax and receive individualized attention. I typically opt for taking dog walks in parks or hiking trails instead of my neighborhood. Because I’m home during the day, your pup won’t be left alone for long and will receive lots of companionship, play, potty breaks, and affection throughout their stay. About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
