Hey there! I'm Alex, I'm 25 years old and I would love to come take care of your furbaby! I'm very reliable, dedicated, and will always go the extra mile to care for you and your furry friends. I have very flexible availability, caring for pets is my life! I take this work extremely seriously, and it shows especially in my quality of care. I take pride in allowing you to be at ease while away from your furbabies, full time, all year round! I have recently moved to Asheville, but my previous work was based in Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas! I currently am only accepting drop-ins and walking, so my doggie has time to adjust from our big move! I've had dogs and cats since before I can remember, I have pet sat for coworkers, teachers, family members, and have over a year of professional dog walking experience for a local company. I have no breed or size restrictions. I am a proud rescue pit bull dad, who is my pride and joy, and I have an affinity towards misunderstood animals. Whatever patience your baby may need, I am all for taking those baby steps to make them as comfortable as possible. I'm also not shy to any cold-blooded family members either! I am an avid reptile and fish hobbyist, and would love to give them some loving too! I am a huge creepy-crawly nerd and love spiders especially, so I am open to any and all critters! Safety, trust & environment
We can go out to potty, or go on an adventure! For visits in home, I can provide dog walking/fenced area play, feeding and medication administration! I am certified on Canine Communication and Behavior, along with Bite Prevention. I also have experience with administering insulin.

Alex was such a gem! He sent very thorough notes and took lots of pics of our cats when he dropped in:) He did exactly what we instructed him to and we felt very safe having him take care of our babies. Would definitely recommend Alex and will book with him again in the future. He really went above and beyond!

On the first day, he didn't follow the directions I gave him during the meet & greet that would have made my dog more comfortable with him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt in case he just forgot. On the second day, he gave my dog a walk that was .17 of a mile for what was supposed to be a 30 minute walk. The reasons he gave me did not make much sense to me. Sounds like he sat on my couch for a while, which is not helpful. My dog has always walked at least a mile with other sitters on Rover. So I canceled the booking.

I can’t recommend Alex enough!! He was communicative, kind, took so many great photos of our cats during every drop in visit and we appreciated the flexibility when our travel plans were delayed. He went above and beyond and anyone would be lucky to have him watching their fur babies 💖
