Hey there! I'm Alex, I'm 25 years old and I would love to come take care of your furbaby! I'm very reliable, dedicated, and will always go the extra mile to care for you and your furry friends. I have very flexible availability, caring for pets is my life! I take this work extremely seriously, and it shows especially in my quality of care. I take pride in allowing you to be at ease while away from your furbabies, full time, all year round! I have recently moved to Asheville, but my previous work was based in Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas! I currently am only accepting drop-ins and walking, so my doggie has time to adjust from our big move! I've had dogs and cats since before I can remember, I have pet sat for coworkers, teachers, family members, and have over a year of professional dog walking experience for a local company. I have no breed or size restrictions. I am a proud rescue pit bull dad, who is my pride and joy, and I have an affinity towards misunderstood animals. Whatever patience your baby may need, I am all for taking those baby steps to make them as comfortable as possible. I'm also not shy to any cold-blooded family members either! I am an avid reptile and fish hobbyist, and would love to give them some loving too! I am a huge creepy-crawly nerd and love spiders especially, so I am open to any and all critters! Alex was fantastic with my two cats, one of whom is usually very shy with new folks. He really liked Alex and I was much more comfortable leaving town for a week while they were in Alex’s care.
Alex is the best- so good with our dog and I love our report cards they are always so cute and detailed.
Alex was absolutely wonderful; communicative, responsible, and obviously has a deep love for animals. My kitty warmed up to Alex immediately and knowing she was in good hands eased my anxiety while I was away. I will absolutely book with Alex again in the future.
This was my first time using Rover and Alex did an amazing job with my nervous pup! Despite my dog having trouble trusting a new person without me there, Alex took the extra time to be gentle, give treats, and make my boy feel comfortable enough to go for a walk. Alex is clearly passionate about his work and goes above and beyond for clients - the animals are top priority, even the more challenging ones. Would definitely recommend!
