I'm no stranger to high-need dogs! I had a Chihuahua who, bless his heart, was a mess. He was no more than 6lbs, and had heart, dental, and bone issues. He always rated my service to him highly, and he taught me a lot for which I'm grateful. In his memory, and to keep our other senior dog, Buddy, company, we adopted a chocolate labrador named Roxanne, who is blind. Pets like me because I am empathetic and caring. I understand why they might be acting the way that they act, that most of the time, it's just fear, and with that knowledge, I am able to approach the situation with confidence and tact. Or maybe they're just super excitable! I am a calming presence who knows how to party when the occassion's right.
