“We were visiting Asheville and needed someone to feed and walk our dog while we were out for the evening. Joanna was the perfect choice! She made it so easy to set up a meet and greet prior and she took such good care of our dog while we were gone. The whole experience allowed us to enjoy ourselves and not worry. I would highly recommend booking with her!”

“We went out of town for the weekend and asked Neil to walk our dog a couple of times a day. We knew our dog was in good hands with someone that would take care of her for the short time that we were gone. Neil arrived at the times he said he would be there and had excellent communication. We are leaving town again next month and will be requesting Neil to take care of our beloved pup again!! Thanks Neil”

About: My husband and I have spent our time volunteering with animal rescues for years. Our rescue pup Sal is our everything. That said, we know how hard it is to find safe and loving homes for your pets while your away. We have used Rover ourselves for this same need which is how we got to thinking of giving back! We want to provide reassuring, loving care for your pet while you are away. I work remotely so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your pet. I am available for hikes with your dog (if permitted), long walks, or just lots of cuddles. Due to lease restrictions, we do not offer boarding in our home at this time. We are more then happy to visit your dog or cat locally!
“Megan was so caring for my pups! She kept in touch with updates and pictures, and made sure they got exercise and extra love in my absence. I definitely plan to use her in the future!”

In my past, I have formed wonderful relationships with two sugar gliders, foster kittens and a handful of beta fish. I am also a frequent visitor of The Lehigh Valley Humane Society and Vet Clinic. As I am a student at Lehigh University, I have a flexible schedule. I am able to commute within 4 miles, rain or shine! I can commit to a consistent daily/weekly appointments as my class times do not change. I meet your pet where they are! I am friendly but will not overstep my boundaries. My utmost concern is always making sure your pet is safe and healthy.

Asheville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Eliza was an amazing dog walker for our doggy. She was super chill and kept us updated with pictures. This was our first experience with a dog walker from Rover, and needless to say we were able to enjoy our short weekend trip. Will definitely be rebooking for our next weekend trip.

Zia loved walking with Natasha. She definitely has a special way with animals, it was a pleasure to see her when she came for his walk. She always greeted him with delight & excitement. Natasha was conscientious about the heat & kept him cool which I really appreciated. I felt very good having him with her, it was a great week. Thank you Natasha!

Simone was timely, detailed, friendly, and made instant positive connections with our three dogs - a young boisterous fellow and a very gentle senior dog. She was respectful, engaged, and asked excellent questions that built my confidence. I look forward to booking with her in the future!

At the last second I needed dog walkers - for a week - my dog is more like a cat…needs no attention, but needs walked twice a day and fed. There was no time to meet Hanna, but I sent her detailed instructions on how to get into my house, find the dog, leash him and walk him, feed him, throw a med into his food and shut the house up and leave. You have to have a lot of trust that all that would be done without ever meeting Hannah! EVERYTHING was perfect…the dog was tended to, looked happy, Hannah said he’s doing great and as a result I could relax and enjoy my time away. RESPONSIBLE AND GREAT COMMUNICATOR! I hope she’ll help me out in the future!! FIVE STARS AND MORE!
