About: I have two cats and a dog who mean the world to me, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I would treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in nursing school full time, which has strengthened my responsibility, patience, and compassion when caring for others. While my weekdays are busy with classes and studying, I’m available for evening and weekend pet care and would love to spend that time giving your pets the attention, comfort, and love they deserve. In my home or my client’s home, I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection based on their personality and energy level. I’m mindful of any specific instructions from the owner, including medications, special diets, or behavioral needs. I also keep their space clean, make sure they have a calm and stress-free environment, and give lots of reassurance so they feel at ease while their owner is away.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I've had pets my whole life. I did 4 years of vocational training in veterinary medicine throughout high school, and I also pet sitted for neighborhood pets during that time. Afterwards, I went to college and got a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences, focusing on Behavior and Well-Being. I had many animal related jobs throughout that time and am fully ready to return to caring for cats and dogs. I'm currently working full time, so I am a bit busy. However, I am trying to get a part time job so I can have more time to dedicate to your beloved pets. I prefer to care for animals in their own home, so they can still feel a sense of safety and comfort if they are wary around strangers or don't care for new environments.

About: I cared for family dogs, cats & horses through childhood & my 20s. Here in Asheville, I've had two dogs (one at a time) for 13 years. I am attuned to safety & health first; then I focus on play/walking to provide fun & exercise for emotional, mental & physical stimulation. In addition to having food, water, shelter & a comfortable temperature, all pets need to feel safe, loved & respected. I am gentle, thorough, attentive, & caring, & I follow all instructions carefully. I have worked with puppies through senior dogs as well as my flighty, 52-lb. 6-yr-old reactive Pit Bull/Cane Corso rescue, whom I walk daily & hike with weekly. I've used the Behavior Adjustment & Doggy Dan training systems with this sweet companion, who had been abused & neglected before I adopted her at 14 months. I have done drop-in visits for friends for 10 yrs. & can give medications orally, in ears & as injections. Before a first service, I do a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend & learn about how your canine relates to people, other dogs, cats, squirrels & rabbits. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.

I live on a large property with plenty of room for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. We also have quiet dirt roads that are perfect for walks. For dogs who love getting out and about, I’m happy to visit local parks and trails like Richmond Hill, the River Arts District Greenway, Bent Creek, and other areas throughout North and West Asheville—always with your permission and only if it’s a good fit for your dog’s personality and activity level. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, active, and well cared for.

About: Hi! I’m Jessie, and I have always been the person who gets way too excited when there’s a dog in the room. 🐾 I absolutely love animals and genuinely believe they deserve to be treated with the same patience, kindness, and care that we want for ourselves. I have a big soft spot for animals with big personalities, nervous pups who need a little extra time to warm up, and the ones who immediately decide we are best friends. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. They’re family, and I don’t take the trust that comes with caring for them lightly. When your pet is with me, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved—not like they’re just being “watched.” I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means long walks, playing until they’re exhausted, lots of cuddles, or letting them have some quiet time in their favorite spot. I’ll also happily send you pictures and updates because I know I’d want the same thing while I was away from my own dog! More than anything, I want your pet to have a good experience while you’re gone and for you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love to meet you and your furry family member! ❤️🐶 I work full time from 8-5 M-F, and sometimes later. However, I am free most evenings after 6 as well as weekends. I have some holidays available as well so please reach out if you want to have me look after your pets! I have one dog and one cat. I take my dog on 2 mile walks a day and she is very friendly! My cat is my dog's best friend. If I end up taking care of pets overnight, I can arrange care for my own! I try to go to the dog park at least twice a day!

About: Growing up with at least two dogs in my home at any given time, I have gratitude for the joy and companionship pets can bring to a family. I've cared for my senior cat for the past 19 years. She is the love of my life who is now suffering from kidney failure. 😞 While in high school, I spent 4 years in the dog grooming industry. To this day, I am always the first to volunteer to look after pets for my friends and family. I now work at the Western North Carolina Nature Center by day where I train to handle animals during educational programs and support their well-being as "ambassadors" of their species. I have respect and love for all animals! 🩷 I'm also passionate about holistic pet health and cognition, and can accommodate to your pet's special diet protocol or exercise plan. In addition, I have experience giving around-the-clock care for puppies and senior pets and can administer medication when needed. I also offer nail trims and baths for well-behaved pets. Outside of my time spent at the Nature Center, I also work part-time in a hybrid role as an administrative assistant. This allows me the flexibility to meet you and your pets needs. I'm available after work around 3pm for walks and drop-ins, and am able to offer potty breaks every 4 hours or so during house sits. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a dachshund and a rottweiler (quite the duo!), and later on I had a bull terrier of my own that I absolutely adored. I also lived with a golden retriever, so I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of personalities and energy levels. For the past 10 years, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family. They trust me because they know their pups will get more than just the basics, they’ll get love, attention, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or just keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. Right now I have full-time availability, which means your pet will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Since I’m not balancing another job, I can easily work around your pet’s routine, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. In my home, pets have plenty of space to feel comfortable — I live alone in a 3-bedroom house, so there’s lots of room for them to play, explore, or just relax. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live in a very walkable neighborhood, so I make sure they get plenty of walks and outdoor time. I keep my space clean, dog-proofed, and stress-free so every animal feels comfortable and at home. In Their Home: I follow your pet’s normal routine to keep them grounded and secure. I handle feeding, walking, potty schedules, medication (if needed), enrichment, and plenty of snuggles. I’m big on communication, so you’ll get updates and photos as often as you’d like. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away — no disruption, just comfort.

About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun! I'm currently just working a few days a week in a restaurant, no other commitments. Plus it's the longest I've ever been without companion animal of my own, so I have extra time and love to give at the moment. Will follow the owners instructions to the tee, and more often than not spend additional time when possible. I'm currently without pets of my own which is rare for me, so I have an ample amount of attention and care to spare!

About: I have experience, caring for bottle fed babies to medically, needy, senior pups. They’re all deserving of the same amount of love, loyalty and attention. My pet care routine begins the moment. I wake up with my senior pitbull and boxer. They are the most loved of my family members and my highest priority! I have a fenced in yard so my dogs are safe and well cared for. They enjoy fresh air and exercise and lounging in the sun.

About: I have had years of experience with various forms of providing care- such as house sitting senior dogs, walking/house checks, as well as taking tremendous care of my own girl Lola (who is a 6yr old corgi/dachshund mix). I hope to extend my love and care to your dogs as well! As of now, I have all the time possible to commit to taking care of pets. In the mornings, first thing is a potty walk. Then we have breakfast, relax, and play until lunch time. Mid-day, we can go for beach walks since I live right across the street! Later in the afternoon we can relax on the balcony until dinner.. naps.. and more! However you need care, I will specify and follow directions! Safety and trust are the most important things to me.
