About: I have two cats and a dog who mean the world to me, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I would treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in nursing school full time, which has strengthened my responsibility, patience, and compassion when caring for others. While my weekdays are busy with classes and studying, I’m available for evening and weekend pet care and would love to spend that time giving your pets the attention, comfort, and love they deserve. In my home or my client’s home, I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection based on their personality and energy level. I’m mindful of any specific instructions from the owner, including medications, special diets, or behavioral needs. I also keep their space clean, make sure they have a calm and stress-free environment, and give lots of reassurance so they feel at ease while their owner is away.

About: I've provided loving care to all sorts of animals! I am new to Rover, but not new to caring for fur babies, especially dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs and a cat myself, and have been a nanny for almost a decade. I love to nurture! I've always adored critters of all kinds since an early age, I grew up with a family dog and 3 cats, as well as hamsters, reptiles, fish, birds and more. I am one of those people who finds it is easier to connect with animals than humans at times, and I have a good general knowledge of dog training, reading body language and caring for reactive or higher needs animals. I am currently only working 1 day per week for 4 hours at a pottery studio in Asheville, and one day a week I work remote. My schedule is very flexible, during my free time I am a ceramic artist and help my partner run our farm in Marshall, so have a lot of freedom in creating my schedule based on house sitting / pet care needs. I am a slow morning person, so will take the time to provide potty breaks, playtime and cuddles to your fur baby! I pride myself on safety and keeping your pets comfortable and at ease. I will keep off limit foods/items out of reach, and have a lot of awareness around things in the home or outside that could be dangerous. If something comes up and I am unsure on how you'd like it to be handled, I will contact you and keep you informed. I am not a forgetful person and am meticulous about safety and keeping your home secure. I take my time to clean up after myself and will leave your home clean and tidy.

About: I've had pets my whole life. I did 4 years of vocational training in veterinary medicine throughout high school, and I also pet sitted for neighborhood pets during that time. Afterwards, I went to college and got a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences, focusing on Behavior and Well-Being. I had many animal related jobs throughout that time and am fully ready to return to caring for cats and dogs. I'm currently working full time, so I am a bit busy. However, I am trying to get a part time job so I can have more time to dedicate to your beloved pets. I prefer to care for animals in their own home, so they can still feel a sense of safety and comfort if they are wary around strangers or don't care for new environments.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and have been involved in animal rescue for the past 10 years. I currently foster with Mountain Pet Rescue and the Asheville Humane Society, and I’ve cared for animals with all kinds of personalities, backgrounds, and needs. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats and I also have experience administering medications. Rescue work has taught me how to be patient with animals who are shy, anxious, energetic, or just need a little extra time and attention. More than anything, I genuinely love being around animals and really enjoy caring for them. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like the little prince or princess they are...with lots of love, attention, cuddles, playtime, and care tailored to what makes them happiest. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved and cared for while you’re away. I work remotely from home, so I’m around throughout the day and have a lot of flexibility to give pets the attention they need. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication, and plenty of company throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and I can easily adjust to their normal routine as much as possible. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, boundaries, feeding schedule, medications, and any quirks or triggers before caring for them. In my home, pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and a calm environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I never force interactions and am very comfortable giving shy or nervous animals the space they need to feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible and make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, and medications are handled carefully. My years in rescue have made me especially attentive to body language and changes in behavior, so I’m always keeping an eye on how your pet is feeling. And of course, I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your furbaby is safe, happy, and getting lots of love.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. All have been taken care of from 2 months and onwards! I find joy in connecting with animals and serving them - as they have served my life in beautiful ways by just expressing their unconditional love and gratitude with their movements and actions rather than words. It is an gift to be loved by these beautiful creatures daily. I am currently working independently and using this time to create and spend time with nature’s gifts. My schedule is very flexible - and I am willing to work with you! I make sure that they are walked, legs stretched, bowels taken care of, fed, played with and loved. About: I have always been a dog person. People at work call me the dog whisperer. I have so much love and patience to give. I have trained my dog since he was a puppy and I have taken care of senior dogs as well. I am currently fully focused on pet care. My daily and weekly schedule is very flexible and easy to work around. This more time with furry friends the better! I have a Furbo if I am not home. I think the most important part is attention and love towards any pet. Making sure they have exercise and relief.

About: I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them never feels like work to me. I’m an active person who loves walks and playtime with energetic pups, but I’m equally happy giving a cat some quiet company and affection or simply respecting the space of a pet who prefers to do their own thing. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I’ve cared for pets through TrustedHousesitters, including cats, active dogs, and senior pets with different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m also happy to share reviews from my previous sits. I’m a pet mom myself to Daisy, our sweet, social, and playful Golden Retriever. We’re not looking to add another pet to our family right now, but Daisy loves other dogs, so welcoming a friendly pup into our home gives her a chance to make new friends and enjoy some meaningful playtime too. I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. My Rover calendar will always reflect my current availability! We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. I have a big soft spot for animals with big personalities, nervous pups who need a little extra time to warm up, and the ones who immediately decide we are best friends. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. They’re family, and I don’t take the trust that comes with caring for them lightly. When your pet is with me, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved—not like they’re just being “watched.” I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means long walks, playing until they’re exhausted, lots of cuddles, or letting them have some quiet time in their favorite spot. I have some holidays available as well so please reach out if you want to have me look after your pets! I have one dog and one cat. I take my dog on 2 mile walks a day and she is very friendly! My cat is my dog's best friend. If I end up taking care of pets overnight, I can arrange care for my own! I try to go to the dog park at least twice a day!

I’ve completed several dog-sitting stays, including a two-week stay and multiple week-long stays, where I cared for feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and daily routines. While I’m newer to professional dog walking, I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to giving every dog plenty of exercise, affection, and care. About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! I love doing training with my own dog, (who is steadily becoming more well behaved!) and would be happy to incorporate training into my visits with yours. I am a very active person and can play ball, run, and walk with dogs. I know the importance of mental stimulation. I am currently available most days, with the exception of Wednesdays. About: I've had pets since I was a teenager. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 ferrets and 3 birds (2 cockatoos one quaker parrots). I've recently retired as a Project Manager from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 34 years. I just became retired and so I have plenty of time to hang out, play and entertain your pets. Almost all dogs and cats love me. As a project manager with the VA for the last 25 years I've been in a position of high public trust requiring that I have a background check every 5 years.

About: Many years experience taking care of pets. All shape sizes ages and attitudes. Can be chill and patient with older dogs and active for the younger. I have a flexible schedule so am available to check in or pet sit anytime of the day. Weekends and nights are available as needed I take care older dog and two young cats.
