About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. All have been taken care of from 2 months and onwards! I find joy in connecting with animals and serving them - as they have served my life in beautiful ways by just expressing their unconditional love and gratitude with their movements and actions rather than words. About: i don't have a lot of experience in dog care other than taking care of friends dogs or the last few years, but i love being around dogs and really care about getting them out and giving them the exercise and social experiences they need. I love to take dogs our on runs and give them social opportunities with other dogs. I love animals and would love to be given the opportunity to love yours. The majority of my work is all open ended and very flexible. I can work pet care into all aspects of my life. There isn’t a lot that i’m doing currently that can take my attention away from your pets. I will not be bringing any pets to my house, but i will come to yours and do over night stays, extended stays, or walk your dogs if you will be out for more than 4 hours at a time. I will make sure your dogs and cats get clean fresh water and fed by whatever times you wish. i will keep the liter box clean and the yard clean as well.

About: I cared for family dogs, cats & horses through childhood & my 20s. Here in Asheville, I've had two dogs (one at a time) for 13 years. I am attuned to safety & health first; then I focus on play/walking to provide fun & exercise for emotional, mental & physical stimulation. In addition to having food, water, shelter & a comfortable temperature, all pets need to feel safe, loved & respected. I am gentle, thorough, attentive, & caring, & I follow all instructions carefully. I have worked with puppies through senior dogs as well as my flighty, 52-lb. 6-yr-old reactive Pit Bull/Cane Corso rescue, whom I walk daily & hike with weekly. I've used the Behavior Adjustment & Doggy Dan training systems with this sweet companion, who had been abused & neglected before I adopted her at 14 months. I have done drop-in visits for friends for 10 yrs. & can give medications orally, in ears & as injections. Before a first service, I do a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend & learn about how your canine relates to people, other dogs, cats, squirrels & rabbits. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

I am open for longer term overnight stays or boarding. If in your home, it needs to be free of heavy fragrances and mold. When able, I prefer boarding animals in my home. When I board, there are no other animals in the house. However, my land lord has a dog and they are on the land or near the house at times. Therefore, I am not able to board dogs who are reactive in any way to dogs or men.

About: I am a teacher in Asheville looking to hang out with some lovely animals in my free time. Growing up I have always had animals but primarily dogs so I have a strong background in dog behaviors and needs. My fiancé, Ellen, is also available to support during the week days that wouldn’t be optimal for me to leave during my teaching days. This gives a lot more availability! She has always grown up with cats and dogs and would love to help support to give them the best care. Often we both come for meet and greets/visits to ensure we give the best care 😊 I look forward to care for your animal in anyway I can. Please let me know of any questions as I hope to be flexible with any needs. During the week I am gone roughly 8am-4pm but will be home during the weekend times. During the summer months I am available throughout the day times. My fiancé is a nurse and works 3 days out of the week. The schedule is flexible but sporadic. I love to get out for long walks and get as much movement as possible. If that’s for your animal I’d love to get them out! If not I am cautious about the animals typical areas and what works best for them.
