She went out of her way to understand and accommodate his reactivity, and came a few times before the day to make sure he was comfortable. We got photos throughout her stay of all the play sessions, cuddles and walks Bernie enjoyed- which assured us he was not only well taken care of, but having a great time. Megan is also an all around great human. When our original wedding was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene and we couldn't get in contact with anyone, Megan came to our house to make sure we didn't still need a sitter. I have a severe food allergy that requires we don't bring gluten in the house, and she was respectful and cognizant throughout her stay. About: I've been walking my dogs my whole life; I've had an Akita, two Shiba Inus, and one husky mutt (all raised from puppies). I have dealt with all of the care required. I've taken care of many of my family and friend's pets as well as worked at a dog day care "3 muttskateers" for half a year. Im currently interning at a nearby studio and would love to spend some of my free time walking or checking in on dogs. About: I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them never feels like work to me. I’m an active person who loves walks and playtime with energetic pups, but I’m equally happy giving a cat some quiet company and affection or simply respecting the space of a pet who prefers to do their own thing. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! Lends did a marvelous job housesitting with my two small pooches, Molly and Theo. I adopted Molly from a shelter at 4 and 1/2 years old, sick with Lyme's Disease and broken teeth, and she has issues of abandonment, so I was worried about this first time leaving her. Thank goodness for Lyndsi! She was very gentle and patient with Molly, who now has a new friend. I would rehire Lyndsi in a heartbeat and definitely recommend her.
