“We are so grateful for Kristie coming with so little notice…she is a great communicator, with thoughtful check in questions, and I know our dog Bumble is so happy she came!”

“Lyndsi was absolutely amazing with our senior cat and kitten who needed daily medicine. Our senior is shy but warmed right up to her. The detailed updates and numerous photos helped keep my worries away. She even left the cutest drawing of our kitties. I will always book with Lyndsi!”

“Makenzy is simply the best. I have four cats and two more that visit for snacks when Makenzy is here. I feel comfortable going out of town because I know she will take care of them as well as (better?!) than I do. She goes beyond the “feed and poop cleanup” by spending quality time playing with them. She loves cats and it shows.”

“Kara was wonderful! She took great care of our cat while we were away. Her report cards were thorough and she sent plenty of pictures too. Kara was super flexible and was able to add on dates at the last minute and was willing to unexpectedly administer eye drops daily (no easy feat!). We’d love to use Kara in the future!”

About: I currently pet sit for my friends and family, but I would love to meet even more furry friends! I have always been a passionate animal lover. When I was thirteen I went vegetarian because of my love for animals and have never looked back. I have been working with dogs and cats since I was 8. My grandma had ties to the Savannah humane society and frequently took me along to volunteer for them. When I was a teenager I fostered a puppy and then a kitten who both needed to be bottle fed and I really loved the experiences. During covid I adopted my two cats (Bandsaw and Lathe) and realized my cat lady destiny. I moved in with my boyfriend shortly after, and together we now have 4 cats (Bandsaw, Lathe, Challa, and Shurri). Last year, I cared for two neighborhood stray cats and was able to tame them, to the point that one was able to be adopted out, and the other socialized enough for pets and treats. I am a ceramic artist and product designer by trade, and my cat Lathe has been my muse since I met her. A lot of my ceramic work is centered on cats and dogs, and I have designed 3 cat lamps for mass manufacture for a major retailer which are currently on the market. I have painted pet portrait commissions on and off since I was 15. I am a freelance designer and an independent artist, so I generally have open availability, and would love to help take care of your pets! I am more than happy to change the litter box, walk your dogs, administer medicine, crate cats/dogs if necessary, and any other special requests that you as the owner might have. It is important to me to treat animals with love and respect, so I always introduce myself slowly and read their body language before doing anything else.
“Autumn was so helpful in watching Millie last minute over the holidays. She was dependable and thorough with each drop in visit sending a picture and report card. Millie also loved her! We will definitely be using her again.”

“Stephanie was so awesome!! She sent lots of great pictures and videos of our babies having fun and left super detailed messages that were so appreciated. She was very fun to work with and talk to and we felt so relaxed knowing our pups were in good hands!”

“I adopted my dog fairly recently so I was nervous about leaving her with someone else for the weekend, but Megan was extremely attentive and made me feel comfortable on day 1! She was wonderful about providing updates and asking about details I hadn't even considered. I have a cat as well and I could tell they were both very fond of her by the end of the weekend. I would definitely recommend Megan to anybody looking for a petsitter.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.
“Kaysee had great communication with me despite me being out of service most of the time. I was also able to add a day at the last minute. Thanks for looking out for Lucky so well.”

“Isabel was great!! She was responsive and on-time every time to visit my cat. Her daily visits with him really enjoyed me to relax while on vacation knowing that he was in great hands. Would definitely book her again!!!”

About: Hi friends! I am an energetic person who LOVES the outdoors and basically any kind of animal. I am blessed enough to be able to work for my husband for his concrete business so I am home (mostly) all day every day! I have 3 dogs myself; a Border Collie, GSP, and a mixed breed (half Great Pyrenees, half Australian Shepherd). They are my babies. I live on 19 acres that is all fenced but 18 of those acres are occupied for our 13 goats and 3 llamas! No worries though, we have a huge fenced in area directly beside/where our house sits just for dogs! We also have a doggie door from inside, leading to the outdoor area, so your dog will definitely get the exercise and outdoor time they deserve, as well as coming and going as they please! :) I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Monday-Thursday with some weekends! We travel a lot over the weekends in the summer so weekends are limited but I will keep my weekend schedule updated We have a doggie door leading to the fenced in area for our dogs so they are able to come and go as they please. If you aren’t comfortable with the doggie door, I will make sure your pet does not use it and I will take them out for breaks frequently!
“I will absolutely book with Alice again. She showed up when she said she would and, most importantly, communicated perfectly. I feel much more at ease going on vacation now knowing that Alice will be taking care of my pup!”

About: I have been caring for animal for around 10 years. I have dog, cat and house sat for many folks during that time. I love bringing peace of mind knowing your furry friends are safe and comfortable! I work part-time and have lots of flexibility to walk or play with your dog! I am open to discussing your needs and a schedule that works for both of us. I have three indoor cats. They’re great with dogs, and I am able to take dogs on walks around the greenway! It is my preference to come to you!

Leicester cat parents share their Rover experiences
They did a great job looking after my two cats. They were diligent and communicative. My cats eat raw food and they did a great job managing their dietary needs. They went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of. I was able to really relax and enjoy my trip knowing my cats were in good hands. I am deeply appreciative and would highly recommend them!
