About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for dogs, cats, and chickens, many of them rescues. Over the years, I've gained experience caring for animals with a variety of personalities, ages, and care needs. I also have experience with pet sitting, dog walking, house sitting, and assisting with Rover clients. Spending time with animals is something I've always genuinely enjoyed, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality. When you trust me with your pet, I will care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day and overnight. About: I've had pets my whole life. I did 4 years of vocational training in veterinary medicine throughout high school, and I also pet sitted for neighborhood pets during that time. Afterwards, I went to college and got a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences, focusing on Behavior and Well-Being. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.
