About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 16. I also grew up with 4 medium sized dogs at a time. I have always had a love for animals and love to meet other fur babies. I have been able to follow feeding instructions and if needed have followed giving medications. Just a heads up I will not be accepting bookings from June on until I am sure where I will be after college. I’m currently a senior in college with only 2 classes and 2 labs, so I will have a lot of time to spend with your pups! I have a small, fenced yard and I have one yellow lab at home that is very dog friendly. I will follow up with you anytime I arrive at your house and will provide a recap of my time with your animal. I will follow all instructions given to me ahead of time to ensure you receive the best care for your furry friend. I will treat them as if they were my own and spend so much time ensuring they enjoy there time with me!

“Knows exactly how to make friends with cats. Had them rubbing up on her and getting pets right away. Also knows cat routines and what to expect. Highly recommended.”

“Alex was so friendly and professional. I appreciate his thorough reports and all the photos. Alex made me feel comfortable leaving my kitten, knowing she was in good and capable hands.”

“Dawn is such a good pet sitter. Our cats are normally very reclusive around new people, but took to her immediately. We couldn’t recommend her more and will absolutely use her in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was 10. I’ve helped numerous friends, neighbors, and family members with house sitting, dog walks, and pet care. I am currently a second year PA student on clinical rotations so I have a lot of flexibility to take care of your fur babies. I live in an apartment so I would prefer to take care of your fur baby in your own home but I am flexible to other arrangements.
About: *Cat, Dog, Small mammal, Farm animal and Exotic animal care* Hi, I'm Kate! I'm a New York native, who has made home in WNC. With 9 years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician and 5 years of running my own pet sitting business, I am so excited to continue to build my client base in North Carolina. Pets are more than just animals to me. I have a deep understanding of animals medically, emotionally, behaviorally- as well as understand the safety and responsibility that comes with caring for pets. My main goal is providing a peace of mind for all my clients. I go above and beyond to make sure all instructions are followed and you feel comfortable knowing your pets are in the best hands. Some examples of my medical experience: - Senior pet care - Nail trimming - Medicine Administration - Insulin Injections - SQ Fluids (for chronic kidney patients) I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and becoming your go-to, long-term pet sitter/dog walker! I am a full-time pet sitter and dog walker. I also offer additional services, including nail trims, medication administration, etc. If there is something you don't see listed on my profile, just ask me and we can discuss options. Safety is my top priority. I give each visit my undivided and full attention. Maintaining a calm demeanor while I am in your home creates the best environment for all pets, especially ones with anxiety.
“Super great pet care!! Each check in was described well and I got photos of my pets each time. She even met me an extra time so I could hand over my keys before leaving, and was super understanding when I forgot to send a delivery code once! I felt like my pets were in great hands!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.
“Susan is WONDERFUL! Our cat loves her, she’s communicative, always arrives on time, and does little things around the house she doesn’t have to do, like checking the mail or sweeping the floor around the litter box—without being asked. We will always book with Susan when she’s available during our trips.”

“Could not have asked for a better sitter for my dog for a week. Taylor was thorough, on time, very communicative, and loving. She did way more than she was asked. Very happy with the Rover Service, and Taylor was a godsend. Highly recommend.”

About: Well I have quite a few experiences with pets, especially dogs… I currently work part-time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility where I am the closing lead at. Before the job I work at currently, I had worked at another doggy daycare/boarding facility where it had let me gain the experience I needed to hop into my position at my current job. Also on the side I have pet sat for some friends and family friends… along with all of that I do have my own dog, her name is Goose and she is a rescue! Goose and I have had a long journey of ups and downs dealing with making her more confident in the word, which really sparked an interest in training and rehabilitating dogs. I have yet to get my certifications for training, but they’re coming soon I care for pets on the regular, whether it be at work for 8 hours a couple days a week of at the end of the day with my dog. I care for animals most part of my days, even if I am at my friends house, you will see me attached to their cat/dog I deal with a bunch of pets with a bunch of needs. At work, we have dogs that need medicine at a timely manor or they have specific meals that need to be prepped. So far i’ve dealt with a bunch of specific pet needs, that I feel like I could easily adapt to any new pets.
About: I am a 34 year old part-time fitness professional looking to supplement my income with two things I love; walking and hanging out with dogs :) I completed an internship at Asheville Humane Society doing community outreach in the summer of 2020 so I gained a lot of knowledge pertaining to dog handling and behavior. I am very active and spend most of my free time doing activities like walking while listening to podcasts/audiobooks anyway, so having a dog with me makes it that much better. I’m currently working part-time from home from around 8:00 to 10:00 so I have plenty of time to spend with animals. Even while working, I can break away and step outside or do any other necessary tasks. There is a gap in my services and reviews after 2022 because I took some time to focus fully on my personal training career, but have recently decided to pivot again back to dogsitting and taking a break from my business. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! I’m currently working about 10 hours a week so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I walk outside a lot and spend plenty of time working from my computer as well so will be at the house a lot but also actively taking them outside when I need to take a break from computer work. I do not offer in home stays but at your house: I follow instructions accurately and make sure to stay on a consistent routine so that nothing important gets missed. Like I said, I’ll be around a lot so they will receive plenty of attention!
“Thank you so much! I messed up and forgot to schedule a sitter for one of the days we were gone and Kayla was great! She went over when she was able to to take care of them for us. Very thankful and would book again!”

About: I have had animals in my life since I was born. Currently have a horse, a pony, two goats, three cats, and two dogs living on my property/in my house. I love them all dearly. They are quite literally my children, so I understand the importance of high quality care for your pets. I work full-time from home and usually have lots of free time as my job isn’t incredibly demanding. I usually leave for a few hours in the evening after work to go ride my horse, but other than that I am quite open. I live on 4 1/2 acres. I have a very small fenced in backyard, but I usually walk my dogs 2-3x a day instead of just putting them out there. I do not live on a busy road.
