About: I have had a multitude of animals since I was young, which has led to many years of experience. I currently have a pet cat and dog. I’m a very active person and love going out in nature for walks and requests for longer walks beyond the 30 minute allotment are definitely welcome! I would love to build a strong relationship with the pets and owners I interact with to help build my experience even more and make your pets comfortable with a familiar face. I have a dog of my own that I walk and I’m a stay at home mom, which allows my schedule to be relatively open. In my clients home I will make sure the pet’s needs are met 100%. This includes making sure they have plenty of water, food and have had an adequate potty break. I will also play with the pet as long as their owner is okay with that.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

I regularly house sit and pet sit for friends and family. I also have cared for animals every day at the Brevard Zoo and have cared for others at previous jobs such as the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park, the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and the Avian Conservation Center: Center for Birds of Prey. About: I've grown up around big dogs my whole life and love all pets more than anything. I believe every pet should feel loved and happy with the humans they around no matter how old, or young, they may be. With a very open schedule, I am happy to commit however long or short needed for your special companion! I am looking to find many jobs throughout my last semester at UNCA. About: I cared for family dogs, cats & horses through childhood & my 20s. Here in Asheville, I've had two dogs (one at a time) for 13 years. I am attuned to safety & health first; then I focus on play/walking to provide fun & exercise for emotional, mental & physical stimulation. In addition to having food, water, shelter & a comfortable temperature, all pets need to feel safe, loved & respected. I am gentle, thorough, attentive, & caring, & I follow all instructions carefully. I have worked with puppies through senior dogs as well as my flighty, 52-lb. 6-yr-old reactive Pit Bull/Cane Corso rescue, whom I walk daily & hike with weekly. I've used the Behavior Adjustment & Doggy Dan training systems with this sweet companion, who had been abused & neglected before I adopted her at 14 months. I have done drop-in visits for friends for 10 yrs. & can give medications orally, in ears & as injections. Before a first service, I do a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend & learn about how your canine relates to people, other dogs, cats, squirrels & rabbits. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.

About: Hey! I have been an animal lover since I was a kid. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, rabbits, etc. I have volunteered with several pet rescues and I also foster dogs and cats sometimes. I have experience giving medications. I think what really sets me apart is how deeply I care for animals and how much safety and responsibility matter to me. I personally will only let one person watch my animals and that is because I’m super cautious with who watches my animals. I’m very careful about doors, gates, leashes, wildlife, etc and how to keep your pet safe and not get loose. If you are looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own and really prioritize their safety & comfort while you are away i’m your gal. I send cute photos, too! I also work as a mental health therapist and I’m home frequently doing video sessions so I’m around a lot. I also have experience in animal assisted therapy. My only request is that your animal is dog friendly especially since I have a little senior dog. I work from home most of the time so I’m around a lot. Because I do video sessions as a mental health therapist it is helpful if your animal doesn’t bark a ton for no reason. lol. In my home & yours I prioritize their comfort with feeding schedule, walks or hikes if desired, crate if preferred (sleeping, etc/safe space) , and safety.
