About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. All have been taken care of from 2 months and onwards! I find joy in connecting with animals and serving them - as they have served my life in beautiful ways by just expressing their unconditional love and gratitude with their movements and actions rather than words. It is an gift to be loved by these beautiful creatures daily. I am currently working independently and using this time to create and spend time with nature’s gifts. My schedule is very flexible - and I am willing to work with you! I make sure that they are walked, legs stretched, bowels taken care of, fed, played with and loved. About: I love dogs and have been working with them for over a decade now. I started at the Humane Society in 2011 then soon transitioned into Grooming in 2013. I worked for several years as a dog groomer before moving to Colorado and began working for Boulder Doggie Adventures. I was responsible for pick ups, walks/hikes, house sitting and daycare. I currently run a dog washing and grooming trailer around the weaverville area a few days a week! Blue Ridge Dog Grooming. I love working with dogs and will absolutely show your pup all the love and spoils I have to offer! Your dog is part of the family when they are here! Dogs are never left unsupervised or locked up all day. Your pup will have 2 leashed walks a day, once in the morning once in the evening. We have a 7 acres to explore, always leashed we currently do not have a fenced but we have a 200ft lead that we use when we are outside and we are almost ALWAYS outside! Our pups love to explore and play in the creek, they will get lots of love and attention between us and our kiddos they will not be without snuggles and pets! We are on 7 acres of land so lots of space to explore either on leash or off leash! We have a creek that lets them cool off and plenty of toys and dog beds to provide for your pup as well as homemade treats. Lots of room for your pup to run and play or lay in the shade of the trees in the back. Your dog is part of our family and cared for as such. I am CPR certified as well as Groomer Certified. Your pups will be safe and loved while they stay! I also provide daily photos and write ups that is sent daily so you always know how they are doing.

About: I've grown up around big dogs my whole life and love all pets more than anything. I believe every pet should feel loved and happy with the humans they around no matter how old, or young, they may be. With a very open schedule, I am happy to commit however long or short needed for your special companion! I am looking to find many jobs throughout my last semester at UNCA. I plan to schedule my days around walks or sittings I may have booked since I only have a few classes. I miss being around my dogs at home so helping care for your pets brings me joy! I respect the client and pets' space- no questions asked. Never hesitate to give me lists and lists of expectations, or just tell me to have fun! Whatever you need done will be accomplished!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

I have experience caring for dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, hamsters, hermit crabs, and many species of bird including chickens, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, and parakeets. I am a young adult freelancer, so my schedule is somewhat free for now. I will be available to take care of your pets mostly later in the day on weekdays and all day on most weekends. I will care for your pet and/or pets in whatever way we agreed to, whatever way you ask me to. I will make sure your pet stays healthy and happy while you are away.

About: I have had a multitude of animals since I was young, which has led to many years of experience. I currently have a pet cat and dog. I’m a very active person and love going out in nature for walks and requests for longer walks beyond the 30 minute allotment are definitely welcome! I would love to build a strong relationship with the pets and owners I interact with to help build my experience even more and make your pets comfortable with a familiar face. I have a dog of my own that I walk and I’m a stay at home mom, which allows my schedule to be relatively open. In my clients home I will make sure the pet’s needs are met 100%. This includes making sure they have plenty of water, food and have had an adequate potty break. I will also play with the pet as long as their owner is okay with that.

About: All my life, I have been surrounded by animals. As a mental health counselor by trade, I know how important it is to have animals and the connection that they have with their human counterparts. Animals are a part of the family, and I believe that they should be treated as our own. I am a very responsible and loyal pet sitter and I promise to provide excellent care to your fur-babies, so that you can have a restful and relaxing time away. I work full time from 8-5 M-F, and sometimes later. However, I am free most evenings after 6 as well as weekends. I have some holidays available as well so please reach out if you want to have me look after your pets! I have one dog and one cat. I take my dog on 2 mile walks a day and she is very friendly! My cat is my dog's best friend. If I end up taking care of pets overnight, I can arrange care for my own! I try to go to the dog park at least twice a day!

About: I cared for family dogs, cats & horses through childhood & my 20s. Here in Asheville, I've had two dogs (one at a time) for 13 years. I am attuned to safety & health first; then I focus on play/walking to provide fun & exercise for emotional, mental & physical stimulation. In addition to having food, water, shelter & a comfortable temperature, all pets need to feel safe, loved & respected. I am gentle, thorough, attentive, & caring, & I follow all instructions carefully. I have worked with puppies through senior dogs as well as my flighty, 52-lb. 6-yr-old reactive Pit Bull/Cane Corso rescue, whom I walk daily & hike with weekly. I've used the Behavior Adjustment & Doggy Dan training systems with this sweet companion, who had been abused & neglected before I adopted her at 14 months. I have done drop-in visits for friends for 10 yrs. & can give medications orally, in ears & as injections. Before a first service, I do a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend & learn about how your canine relates to people, other dogs, cats, squirrels & rabbits. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.

About: I have been formally trained in dog and cat care at Wagly Inc. and taught to recognize animal body language and how to address their needs. Aside from caring for my own dog and cat for the past 10 years, I managed dog play time at Wagly with at least 10 dogs at a time, big and small, fed them, cleaned up after them, took them on walks, and did individual play time. I will be free over the summer of 2026, primarily at the end of May and all of August. I may be working part-time, but my schedule is flexible, and I can provide my own transportation. I am happy to work with any pet owners on when I may be needed and will make time for it. I am very comfortable with play and giving pets all the attention they desire. I know how to recognize their needs and body language and desire to keep them happy and healthy.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own, and I grew up around animals. I love going on walks and taking care of dogs and cats I’m currently working part time so my schedule is pretty flexible throughout the week as well as weekend. Just need a few days notice beforehand I don’t currently have a fenced yard but i will leash your pets and the pet must be crate trained if I am not around.

About: I have lived with animals my entire life, providing me with years of dedicated pet care experience. Our past family pets include dogs, cats, a rabbit, ferrets, rats, a bearded dragon, a snake, and various insects. I also ride horses, so have basic equine care experience such as mucking stalls, brushing, washing, and feeding. I have administered oral medication to all of our larger animal breeds. I currently own two senior animals, a bloodhound mix and a small kitty. I only work with potty-trained dogs if they are adults, but am completely sympathetic with cleaning up messes from puppies and seniors who can’t help it. Now that I am on summer vacation, i’m looking for more regular work with animals! As of now, I care for my own dog and cat diligently, providing daily enrichment and cosmetic care. I am a gentle person, and work best with animals that are not defiant or high-energy. I love to provide long brushing sessions, cuddles on the couch, playtime, and treats.
