About: I have two cats and a dog who mean the world to me, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. I would treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in nursing school full time, which has strengthened my responsibility, patience, and compassion when caring for others. While my weekdays are busy with classes and studying, I’m available for evening and weekend pet care and would love to spend that time giving your pets the attention, comfort, and love they deserve. In my home or my client’s home, I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection based on their personality and energy level. I’m mindful of any specific instructions from the owner, including medications, special diets, or behavioral needs. I also keep their space clean, make sure they have a calm and stress-free environment, and give lots of reassurance so they feel at ease while their owner is away.

About: I've had pets my whole life. I did 4 years of vocational training in veterinary medicine throughout high school, and I also pet sitted for neighborhood pets during that time. Afterwards, I went to college and got a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences, focusing on Behavior and Well-Being. I had many animal related jobs throughout that time and am fully ready to return to caring for cats and dogs. I'm currently working full time, so I am a bit busy. However, I am trying to get a part time job so I can have more time to dedicate to your beloved pets. I prefer to care for animals in their own home, so they can still feel a sense of safety and comfort if they are wary around strangers or don't care for new environments.

About: I am new to sitting however, I have been taking care of my own babies since I was in college, 16 years ago. I have always made them my priority and provided a loving home. I am currently working part time. It is mostly evenings and weekends. I’m available most of the day for hanging out, walking, and feeding. I am typically with my babies all day outside of work. We love to go on walks, watch tv, talk, and nap. I would love to split those hours with your babies!

About: Hi! I’m Jessie, and I have always been the person who gets way too excited when there’s a dog in the room. 🐾 I absolutely love animals and genuinely believe they deserve to be treated with the same patience, kindness, and care that we want for ourselves. I have a big soft spot for animals with big personalities, nervous pups who need a little extra time to warm up, and the ones who immediately decide we are best friends. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. They’re family, and I don’t take the trust that comes with caring for them lightly. When your pet is with me, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved—not like they’re just being “watched.” I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means long walks, playing until they’re exhausted, lots of cuddles, or letting them have some quiet time in their favorite spot. I’ll also happily send you pictures and updates because I know I’d want the same thing while I was away from my own dog! More than anything, I want your pet to have a good experience while you’re gone and for you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands. I’d love to meet you and your furry family member! ❤️🐶 I work full time from 8-5 M-F, and sometimes later. However, I am free most evenings after 6 as well as weekends. I have some holidays available as well so please reach out if you want to have me look after your pets! I have one dog and one cat. I take my dog on 2 mile walks a day and she is very friendly! My cat is my dog's best friend. If I end up taking care of pets overnight, I can arrange care for my own! I try to go to the dog park at least twice a day!

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a dachshund and a rottweiler (quite the duo!), and later on I had a bull terrier of my own that I absolutely adored. I also lived with a golden retriever, so I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of personalities and energy levels. For the past 10 years, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family. They trust me because they know their pups will get more than just the basics, they’ll get love, attention, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or just keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. Right now I have full-time availability, which means your pet will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Since I’m not balancing another job, I can easily work around your pet’s routine, whether that’s regular walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. In my home, pets have plenty of space to feel comfortable — I live alone in a 3-bedroom house, so there’s lots of room for them to play, explore, or just relax. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live in a very walkable neighborhood, so I make sure they get plenty of walks and outdoor time. I’m also happy to care for pets in their own home if that’s where they feel most comfortable. Whether at my place or yours, I always make sure they get the attention, exercise, and love they need.

About: I'm no stranger to high-need dogs! I had a Chihuahua who, bless his heart, was a mess. He was no more than 6lbs, and had heart, dental, and bone issues. He always rated my service to him highly, and he taught me a lot for which I'm grateful. In his memory, and to keep our other senior dog, Buddy, company, we adopted a chocolate labrador named Roxanne, who is blind. Pets like me because I am empathetic and caring. I understand why they might be acting the way that they act, that most of the time, it's just fear, and with that knowledge, I am able to approach the situation with confidence and tact. Or maybe they're just super excitable! I am a calming presence who knows how to party when the occassion's right. I work part-time and study, which gives me a lot of freedom for extracurriculars (pet sitting!). I am completely free on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Your house, your rules! I will follow all of your normal houseguest rules while also making your pet feel like they're the ones writing my checks. Safe, comfortable medication adminstration? Done. Clean up inside or outside the house? Done. Stain clean up before it sets? Absolutely. I will go the extra mile to make it seem like time froze while you were gone.

About: I have a lot of experience with young and senior dogs, as well as kittens and senior cats. I’m very patient and love to snuggle if the pet asks for it. I am an active person so going out for walks or playful activity is welcomed! I am a full time student so pet care fits perfectly into my lifestyle. About: I have had years of experience with various forms of providing care- such as house sitting senior dogs, walking/house checks, as well as taking tremendous care of my own girl Lola (who is a 6yr old corgi/dachshund mix). About: I have experience, caring for bottle fed babies to medically, needy, senior pups. They’re all deserving of the same amount of love, loyalty and attention. My pet care routine begins the moment. I wake up with my senior pitbull and boxer. They are the most loved of my family members and my highest priority! I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.
