Information Kate M. would like to know about your pet

The more details you can provide upfront, the better! How many pets am I caring for? What are their daily routines? Are there any behavioral concerns, dietary needs, medical needs, etc.?

A typical day

Each pet is different - personalities, needs, and behaviors! I love taking my time with each pet on walks and playtime, and creating a positive experience, allowing them to (safely) sniff and explore. My cattle dog has A LOT of energy, so I am very familiar with providing the appropriate amount of exercise and stimulation.

Pet care experience

*Cat, Dog, Small mammal, Farm animal and Exotic animal care* LGBTQ+ friendly Hi, I'm Kate! I'm a New York native, who has made home in WNC. With 9 years of experience as a licensed veterinary technician and 5 years of running my own pet sitting business, I am so excited to continue to build my client base in North Carolina. Pets are more than just animals to me. I have a deep understanding of animals medically, emotionally, behaviorally- as well as understand the safety and responsibility that comes with caring for pets. My main goal is providing a peace of mind for all my clients. I go above and beyond to make sure all instructions are followed and you feel comfortable knowing your pets are in the best hands. Some examples of my medical experience: - Senior pet care - Nail trimming - Medicine Administration - Insulin Injections - SQ Fluids (for chronic kidney patients) I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and becoming your go-to, long-term pet sitter/dog walker!

Kate was a wonderful pet sitter for our 2 dogs. We had her come for two drop in visits. She was on time, friendly, had excellent communication, and provided thorough updates with photos. We will definitely book with Kate again!

Kate is wonderful! She took great care of our pups, showing up right on time, sharing pictures, and even keeping me posted on how my dog was doing when I told her he was a little under the weather. Thank you, Kate! We will definitely call you again.
