About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! I love doing training with my own dog, (who is steadily becoming more well behaved!) and would be happy to incorporate training into my visits with yours. I am a very active person and can play ball, run, and walk with dogs. I know the importance of mental stimulation. I am currently available most days, with the exception of Wednesdays. I am an artist and market vendor, and I am able to adjust my schedule much of the time to fit in with your needs. I am happy to walk dogs and do check-ins at your home. I am a careful and cautious person and will follow instructions given as closely as I can.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. All have been taken care of from 2 months and onwards! I find joy in connecting with animals and serving them - as they have served my life in beautiful ways by just expressing their unconditional love and gratitude with their movements and actions rather than words. It is an gift to be loved by these beautiful creatures daily. I am currently working independently and using this time to create and spend time with nature’s gifts. My schedule is very flexible - and I am willing to work with you! I make sure that they are walked, legs stretched, bowels taken care of, fed, played with and loved. About: I have always loved and cared for animals since I was young. I have taken care of my own and other people's fur babies. I love when my friend's pets get excited to see me because I equally share their joy! Dogs: I have always loved dogs and had at least 1 since childhood until a few years ago sadly. The automatic baby voice comes out when I see and talk to a dog. I have found myself spending more time with the dogs than the humans at gatherings sometimes and I appreciate those moments. I love all breeds and sizes! When seeing a new dog in passing, I ask each owner if it’s okay for me to “say hi”/pet their fur baby because all are different with different personalities and life experiences. I tell my kitties often that they will have a canine sibling soon! Cats: Currently a cat mom of 2, the stars in my pictures! I was ignorant of cats until I found my own. I listened to many behavioral podcasts along with my research to understand their uniqueness, and now I deeply appreciate and understand wholeheartedly the love earned from such individual little creatures. My kitties are my shadows, I never use the restroom alone. They have taught me so much and I love the unique personality that I find in each one of them. I know how important it is to respect their space (especially if they're more standoffish) and ensure they have all their resources, especially when their humans are away! Currently working my own flexible schedule so I can make any time work that your fur baby needs. Some pets are used to early mornings and some are used to late evenings. Whatever works for yours! My kitties eat raw, so I make their food daily and give them specific supplements and treats depending on their behavior and the litterbox situation. I'm in tune with my kitty's behaviors and meows knowing what they're requesting in that moment. When caring for other people's pets, I'm mindful of where we use the bathroom (if possible) and clean up appropriately. No details are too many, I'm very supportive of specific needs and how your fur baby may be familiar with their care.

About: I have been caring for animal for around 10 years. I have dog, cat and house sat for many folks during that time. I love bringing peace of mind knowing your furry friends are safe and comfortable! I work part-time and have lots of flexibility to walk or play with your dog! I am open to discussing your needs and a schedule that works for both of us. I have three indoor cats. They’re great with dogs, and I am able to take dogs on walks around the greenway! It is my preference to come to you!

About: I have been taking care of other people's animals since middle school and just love getting to know your pets! Experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, and fish! Willing to take on pets with medical needs! I work 40 hours over 5 days days a week. I am typically away from the house from 9 am - 5 pm or 11 am - 7 pm. Depending on your location, I may be able to pop back to the house on my short lunch break. I am comfortable walking your animals on leashes, pushing them in strollers, using a treadmill, playing with them in the yard, or whatever else is your routine and preference!

About: I love dogs and have been working with them for over a decade now. I started at the Humane Society in 2011 then soon transitioned into Grooming in 2013. I worked for several years as a dog groomer before moving to Colorado and began working for Boulder Doggie Adventures. I was responsible for pick ups, walks/hikes, house sitting and daycare. I currently run a dog washing and grooming trailer around the weaverville area a few days a week! Blue Ridge Dog Grooming. I love working with dogs and will absolutely show your pup all the love and spoils I have to offer! Your dog is part of the family when they are here! Dogs are never left unsupervised or locked up all day. Your pup will have 2 leashed walks a day, once in the morning once in the evening. We have a 7 acres to explore, always leashed we currently do not have a fenced but we have a 200ft lead that we use when we are outside and we are almost ALWAYS outside! Our pups love to explore and play in the creek, they will get lots of love and attention between us and our kiddos they will not be without snuggles and pets! We are on 7 acres of land so lots of space to explore either on leash or off leash! We have a creek that lets them cool off and plenty of toys and dog beds to provide for your pup as well as homemade treats. Lots of room for your pup to run and play or lay in the shade of the trees in the back. Your dog is part of our family and cared for as such. I am CPR certified as well as Groomer Certified. Your pups will be safe and loved while they stay! I also provide daily photos and write ups that is sent daily so you always know how they are doing.

About: I am a 34 year old part-time fitness professional looking to supplement my income with two things I love; walking and hanging out with dogs :) I completed an internship at Asheville Humane Society doing community outreach in the summer of 2020 so I gained a lot of knowledge pertaining to dog handling and behavior. I am very active and spend most of my free time doing activities like walking while listening to podcasts/audiobooks anyway, so having a dog with me makes it that much better. I’m currently working part-time from home from around 8:00 to 10:00 so I have plenty of time to spend with animals. Even while working, I can break away and step outside or do any other necessary tasks. There is a gap in my services and reviews after 2022 because I took some time to focus fully on my personal training career, but have recently decided to pivot again back to dogsitting and taking a break from my business. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! I’m currently working about 10 hours a week so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I walk outside a lot and spend plenty of time working from my computer as well so will be at the house a lot but also actively taking them outside when I need to take a break from computer work. I do not offer in home stays but at your house: I follow instructions accurately and make sure to stay on a consistent routine so that nothing important gets missed. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I have always loved and enjoyed caring for animals. My home has always had a four legged family member occupying space. From rabbits to pot belly pigs it’s such a joy to love and care for them. I’m currently a full time student that takes online classes. So my schedule is pretty free and flexible. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.
