âKatie &Jeremy are amazing multiple updates daily with great pictures. My dog couldnât be happier when he comes home from being with them. I have booked with them multiple times. They are amazing sitters.â

âI have left my little pup with Jose and Maria several times over the last year or so. They really treat her as part of their family and she gets so excited when we pull up to their house. Their daily pictures and videos are so reassuring that all is well. I highly recommend them!!â

âNancy was absolutely wonderful with EddieâŚshe sent us daily photos and answered all of our questions. But more importantly, it was absolutely clear that Eddie was being treated with love! He came home happy and healthy and we will always use Nancy when we need to leave Eddie!â

âI am so glad that I found Vicky through Rover! She did a wonderful job caring for my sweet Fiona. Vicky was communicative, caring, and made our dog feel at home in her care. I highly recommend her services!â

âThis was our first time leaving our two dogs with Brody for a few days while we traveled out of town. Brody took excellent care of them and provided frequent updates so that we could focus on our time away and not worry about our boys. He clearly enjoys what he does. We plan to use Brody again and highly recommend him.â

âHope and her family are animal lovers and it shows. They were flexible about drop off and pickup times and weren't offended when I asked for a meet and greet before leaving our dog.â

âSarah watched our dog for two nights while we stayed at the Grove Park Inn. This was a great option since the hotel pet fee was $350! Thank you, Sarah, for caring for our pup!â

âI cannot recommend Kali for you enough! SHE IS A GEM! My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that canât roam if she had to pop out of the house and canât bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!â

âAlexis is a really considerate sitter who took the time to send us a lot of photos of Dory and also take her on a few walks. She has an enclosed yard which was handy and a very comfortable apartment - I have no doubt our dog slept on every cushion within jumping range. Would highly recommend Alexis and will contact her again in the future!â

âTerri and her husband were so SWEET to me and Ares. They have the best little farm for my dog to run around on. He had the best time staying with them and I would absolutely use her again. They are such kind people!â

âJessica and Jack were such nice people. They were very communicative and responded quickly to anything I wrote. They sent me photos and videos of Lupe and their daughters. Lupe seemed to be having a good time. It was the perfect environment for Lupe. They took good care of her while she was recovering from a leg injury. She seems to be doing better after her long weekend with them.â

âOlivia took such great care of my girl! She made everything super easy and convenient for us. She was attentive to all of Benelliâs needs and she even sent regular updates so that I knew how she was doing. I would absolutely recommend her services!!â

âKristin is wonderful! I adopted Daisy about a month before I had to leave town for some family obligations. Daisy is a very sweet dog but she was found as an abandoned stray and was understandably extremely anxious. Kristin has worked with shelter dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. She was the perfect person to care for Daisy âŚand for me as well! Kristin knew leaving Daisy was stressful for me and sent me photos and videos of Daisy. Staying with Kristin was a very positive experience for Daisy in many ways! She is less anxious and more confident. Thank you very much!!â

âRick went above and beyond to make sure our weird, skittish (and lovable!) dog got settled in and comfortable while we were away. He took Gizmo out of the house for hikes, which really made him happy. Couldnât recommend him more to take great care of your pups.â

âErin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!â
âFantastic stay for my dog! Miranda was very communicative while I was away and sent lots of pics & updates. My dog returned home a happy and tired camper. Would absolutely send her here again.â

âI canât say enough good about Melody. We would leave Gaia in her care any time. If she lived close to us and we were going away for a month, we would leave Gaia in her care and feel 100% secure. She has a lovely environment for a dog ( or a human), made our dog feel instantly comfortable, and showed her a really good time.â

âI highly recommend Caroline! From the moment we met, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their needs. Caroline kept us updated throughout our time away, sending us regular photos and messages about our furbabies. This not only eased our minds but also showed us how much they were enjoying their time together. If youâre looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, look no further than Caroline. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!â

By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
