About: Hi, I am a compassionate and dependable recent retiree. My two senior dogs passed away in the past 6 months and I am without any fur-babies for the first time in decades. I am honored to spend quality time with your loved one so you can have a worry-free vacation and I can have some doggy/kitty time! I am newly retired and have plenty of free time. I do have community activities out but they do not dominate my day. I spend my time focused on creativity (working on art and music projects) at home. So your pup will have company pretty much all day whether you are boarding with me or I am housesitting for you. I am very active and have a daily exercise and yoga routine and my home is a healthy and veg-friendly household. I'll gladly walk your dog to the level he/she is used to (if it's hot I will walk early morning and/or evenings). My intention is to have your baby feel loved and safe with lots of attention and play and by sticking to the routine as you dictate. I am very tidy/neat and respectful of your home. I'm happy to water your plants etc. If boarding in my home, I am here most of the time. My husb and I Iive in a house with a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room for your pup to do his or her business and run around and chase a toy. The neighborhood is very walkable and dog-friendly. I can also take your dog in the car to favorite walks (with your permission). If boarding in my home, I request that your dog is 100% house-trained and has good social skills/manners as well as being comfortable with having their own bed to sleep in.

About: I have had a love for animals my whole life and been watching animals since I was 15. I know CPR and first aid for humans along with animals. I also have experience working at rescue shelters and humane societies. Spending time with your animals gives me the ability to de-strees while I can't have animals of my own, because of wanting to travel. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. I’ve completed several dog-sitting stays, including a two-week stay and multiple week-long stays, where I cared for feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and daily routines. About: Many years experience taking care of pets. All shape sizes ages and attitudes. Can be chill and patient with older dogs and active for the younger. I have a flexible schedule so am available to check in or pet sit anytime of the day. Weekends and nights are available as needed I take care older dog and two young cats. About: I've had pets since I was a teenager. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 ferrets and 3 birds (2 cockatoos one quaker parrots). I've recently retired as a Project Manager from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 34 years. I just became retired and so I have plenty of time to hang out, play and entertain your pets. My cat is my dog's best friend. If I end up taking care of pets overnight, I can arrange care for my own! I try to go to the dog park at least twice a day!
About: I have always loved and enjoyed caring for animals. My home has always had a four legged family member occupying space. From rabbits to pot belly pigs it’s such a joy to love and care for them. I’m currently a full time student that takes online classes. So my schedule is pretty free and flexible. I’m big on maintaining consistency between your home and ours. If your dog is crate trained or currently learning we’re happy to continue their normal routine. The same goes for potty training, basic commands, feeding schedules, special diets, and any house rules you’re working on. Dogs can be fed separately to ensure everyone eats their own food, and we have an extra crate available or are happy to use your dog’s own crate if that makes them more comfortable. I love providing enrichment beyond simply letting dogs hang out! Depending on your pup, that might include sniff walks, Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, sprinkler or kiddie-pool play in the yard, fetch, or supervised creek adventures. With your permission, well-suited pups can also join us for dog-friendly walking trails or an occasional brewery outing. If your dog is happiest staying close to home, we’re just as happy to keep their world quiet and familiar.
