I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. She handled it all like an absolute pro. We’ve had pet sitters before, but Kate is next level; a true Animal Whisperer. From the start, she was organized, asked all the right questions, and really took the time to understand how our place works. She managed to charm our big intimidating dogs and convince a broody chicken to give up her eggs (no surprise chicks for us, thanks to Kate!). About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 13. I’ve also taken care of cats along with bunnies, guinea pigs, mice, and frogs. I have also helped take care of senior dogs who needed help walking and also puppies. I am currently going to school at UNCA so I would stay at your home or also have your dog in my dorm the school doesn’t mind. I would take them outside in the morning and in between classes.
