I have a severe food allergy that requires we don't bring gluten in the house, and she was respectful and cognizant throughout her stay. About: I've provided loving care to all sorts of animals! I am new to Rover, but not new to caring for fur babies, especially dogs and cats. I have 2 dogs and a cat myself, and have been a nanny for almost a decade. I love to nurture! I've always adored critters of all kinds since an early age, I grew up with a family dog and 3 cats, as well as hamsters, reptiles, fish, birds and more. I am one of those people who finds it is easier to connect with animals than humans at times, and I have a good general knowledge of dog training, reading body language and caring for reactive or higher needs animals. I am currently only working 1 day per week for 4 hours at a pottery studio in Asheville, and one day a week I work remote. My schedule is very flexible, during my free time I am a ceramic artist and help my partner run our farm in Marshall, so have a lot of freedom in creating my schedule based on house sitting / pet care needs. I am a slow morning person, so will take the time to provide potty breaks, playtime and cuddles to your fur baby! I pride myself on safety and keeping your pets comfortable and at ease. I will keep off limit foods/items out of reach, and have a lot of awareness around things in the home or outside that could be dangerous. If something comes up and I am unsure on how you'd like it to be handled, I will contact you and keep you informed. Nathan was incredible and stayed with our two difficult dogs (one senior mostly blind and a hound dog who doesn’t like new people coming inside) at our house for over a week while we were in Mexico. We can’t recommend him enough. He found out that our dogs got fleas while we were gone and bathed and shampooed them right away. He also watered all of our plants and garden and kept the place super clean. We also had a flight cancellation on our way back last minute and Nathan happened to have hand surgery that day but came over to right after to take care of them another night. We would highly recommend him and would rate him more than 5 stars if the app lets you).
Bekah did such a great job with my dog Louie. While he is sweet at heart, he can be a handful with his quirks. Bekah did a great job managing these quirks and kept him safe and happy. She always kept me updated on how everything was going during her time caring for Louie and my home. I highly recommend Bekah to anyone and will definitely use her services in the future!
