Pet care experience
Tell your dog I said hello!
For the first time in my life, I find myself without a pet. I was born into a household of pet lovers, and this apple did not fall far from the tree. We always had pets whether they were strays, long term watches, rescues, and one time my mom (a hair stylist) traded a whole family of haircuts for an unwanted purebred & papered Lab. It doesn’t matter where they came from, pets are family and deserve to be treated with love. I have ample experience with all stages of life from puppies all the way to seniors, from perfect health to neurological conditions, from bathing to crate & leash training. I would love to take your dog on a hike and then for a cuddle on the couch afterward. Still trying to teach them how to shake? Lessons can continue while you’re away, just let me know how you’re doing it for consistency.

Bridget took great care of my crazy little pitbull Cricket!

Bridget greeted our pups with enthusiasm and her setup was great—a big fenced grassy back yard and even a dog bed, toys and water bowl at the ready inside. Our dogs enjoyed their stay and were happy and calm when we picked them up. Her location is easy to get to, minutes from downtown Asheville. We highly recommend this delightful Rover sitter!

Bridget was amazing! Made my pup feel right at home and gave frequent updates. 🥰

Bridget was great with Daisy. She went above and beyond with her! It is very apparent that she has a lot of experience with caring for dogs.

Bridget is the absolute best! She has watched our sweet Bear twice, and Bear loves her. Bridget is a superb communicator, and she keeps in touch daily, sending photos and updates of all the fun they are having throughout the sit. I highly recommend Bridget!

We’ve been using Bridget for the last 3ish years, and she is fabulous every time. Ellie loves her and so do we!

Schedule
I recently relocated to town and work part-time downtown, so I am at your dog’s beck and call. If your pup is used to an early morning hike or your Golden Girl prefers to sleep in, I am happy to oblige.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard (although not the tallest so please let me know if you have an escape artist), and have room to set up your crate if you use one. I have a soft dog bed that also goes in the car so your pal will go everywhere with me. I live in a super dog friendly neighborhood with quick access to the French Broad River for great walks.
A typical day
I love working on the classics like shake, down, spin, catching, etc., just tell me what you’re working on! I live in a great dogborhood so there will be lots of walks and things to smell, as well as other dogs to say hello to. I also live very close to the French Broad River for extended walks, and am excited to explore the great hiking this area has to offer.
