About: As a remote Registered Nurse (RN), I bring a clinical eye to pet care. I notice subtle changes in behavior or health that others might miss. I’m comfortable administering medications in any form, from pills to inhalers, and my own pets are on daily medication routines so it’s second nature. My background in farming gave me hands-on experience with animal health and handling, and I’ve worked with my own dogs on training from puppyhood. I’m home all day, every day, so your dog gets constant attention and care, not just a place to play and sleep. I work from home Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time in the mornings, evenings, and throughout the day. I have lots of time for walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and my job allows me to step away whenever your pup needs attention. I can work from my office or the couch, wherever your dog is most comfortable. On my days off I tend to stay close to home, and if I do need to run an errand I won’t be gone long and can always accommodate you and your dog’s needs. I share my home with three animals who are very well loved. Haddie is my 7 year old spayed terrier mix, about 22 pounds, and my two cats are Zuzu, a spayed senior, and June, who is 4 years old and also spayed. Each of them has their own dietary and medical needs, so I’m already in the routine of specialized diets and medications. Your dog will fit right into that level of care. Haddie goes out every two to four hours and we walk together every day. There’s also plenty of backyard playtime. The backyard is not currently fenced, but a fence is going up soon. In the meantime I have a post with a long leash line in the yard and keep Haddie on a harness. I am always outside with her when using the leash line and never leave her unattended, and will do the same for your dog. My home is clean, open, and pet friendly. The furniture and beds are fair game for your dog. I do have a dedicated cat room with a gate that only the cats can fit through, so they always have their own safe space. All of my houseplants are pet safe as well. I also live at the end of a dead end street near the cul de sac, so it’s a quiet area with only local traffic and no busy roads nearby.

About: I have cared for my own pets, and for friends pets, for as long as I can remember. I am completely comfortable with any age and almost any type of pet. When I was 16 I volunteered at a Vet office for over a year where I learned everything from injection to caring for sick and injured animals. I feel prepared for just about anything that comes my way. I’m happy to now offer dog boarding. We have 3 acres with 1 acre fenced in for the dogs to play. We are in a semi-remote location in East Asheville so there are no busy roads. We usually only take in friends dogs for boarding but we are opening up our home for dog day care or boarding. I usually would try and schedule my visits around my kids school drop-off and pickup. I can usually be flexible if there are special circumstances. I have a flexible work from home job that would allow me to schedule my day around your pets needs. Your rules are my rules! I am very respectful of the rules you have set around your pet. Whether it’s a strict diet or how you secure them in your home or no pets on future. You set the rules for your pet ;)

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I got into pet grooming at an early age and have worked and managed in a few different salons around Asheville, NC. I have extensive knowledge of animals such as keeping things sanitary and following strict schedules, diets and plans to fit the animals needs. I am currently available any day and am only accepting drop in visits and bathing at this time. I am new to Rover so I am looking for my first bookings. I can provide references of animals I have cared for previously. I can stick to a strict diet plan and bathe if needed. I will keep your home tidy during the visits and follow any instructions that are left with me.

About: I have two dogs at home. I have taken my oldest to puppy kindergarten when he was little and trained him and also trained my other dog as well. They are well trained and behaved. I am currently out of school and am looking for some side work while I try to get a other job. I have house and pet sat and babysat in the past so this would be easy. I have a beautiful big fenced yard to play and two very sweet dogs(one 12 year old boy and one 4 year old girl). I have a nice walk from my house I go on with my dogs often.

Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.
