“Paul and his fiancé were amazing with our boy, Ezra. As my service dog, he is always with me. There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. I would definitely reach out to Paul as a pet sitter should the need arise the next time we visit beautiful North Carolina! Thank you both for taking such good care of our Ezra. About: “I have taken care of dogs my whole life and currently have a sweet pug puppy named Willow. I love taking dogs on walks, giving them playtime, potty breaks, snuggles, and lots of attention. I treat every dog like my own — with patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or an overnight stay, your pup will feel safe, happy and deeply loved in my care I work from home as an artist and am almost always here, so your dog will get consistent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles throughout the day. They won’t be left alone except for quick errands. 🐾 My home is very dog-friendly with a fully fenced in yard, tons of toys, comfy dog beds, and lots of space to relax. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in my bed (just like my own pups). I treat every dog like part of the family — with lots of love, patience, and positive reinforcement. 🐾

About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard or inside for 4-5 hours per day. Although we love all pets, please don’t book with us if your animal needs constant supervision. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive or prey-driven dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.
About: I grew up with several pets including dogs, cats, and exotic birds and have a 6 month old blue heeler of my own. I have amateur dog training experience and by request, I can support your dog's training needs while I am looking out for them. No charge! I will make sure your fur baby receives love as though they are my own. They’ll get lots of playtime, walks and I’ll will send photo updates of how they’re doing. I currently work full time from home so it is very easy for me to be attentive and look after your furry loved one in addition to my own 6 month old blue heeler who is very sweet and friendly with other dogs. I work from home Monday through Friday during the day and this leaves a lot of flexibility to go on walks and play together on the trails right on the 10 acres of wooded land. My home is tucked away in a safe location with a lot of space away from busy roads. I live on 10 acres of wooded land and several trails that loop the entire property that allows for a lot of sniffing opportunities, playtime in nature, and staying in a safe environment throughout the day.
