“Hope and her family are animal lovers and it shows. They were flexible about drop off and pickup times and weren't offended when I asked for a meet and greet before leaving our dog.”

“Caleb, a fairly recent rescue dog with residual anxiety, spent two weeks with Kristin and took only a few hours to readjust to being back home with us. I think this reflects the attention and secure, loving home that Kristin provided. Caleb had other dogs to play with, a cozy indoor environment, and a regular schedule at his home-away-from-home. I would certainly recommend Kristin and will use her again in the future.”

“Erin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“Bridget is the absolute best! She has watched our sweet Bear twice, and Bear loves her. Bridget is a superb communicator, and she keeps in touch daily, sending photos and updates of all the fun they are having throughout the sit. I highly recommend Bridget!”

“So happy to have found Sarah and her sweet family. Lincoln stays with ease and seems right at home in their environment. The backyard for Lincoln is an extra plus.”

“KaLynn and her husband were wonderful. Last minute booking and had never use Rover before. Communication was great. We felt comfortable leaving both our pups. KaLynn provided updates and pictures and noted an issue with Sadie's eye. After consulting with me and her mom, a vet tech, she asked if she could give Sadie Benadryl to help with the itching. KaLynn even provided a couple of Benadryl upon pick up until I can get Sadie to the vet on Monday. THANK YOU for taking great care of Sadie and Tula. Would book with you again!”

“I cannot express how much we appreciate Julie! She is extremely responsible, always reliable, and loves my dog like one of her own. This is the first time we did an in-home stay for our large, goofy lab. The peace of mind we have knowing he is so well taken care of is invaluable. I highly recommend Julie.”

“Jacqueline and Sammy took great care of our two dogs while we were on vacation. We received daily updates and many pictures, and our girls were well loved and taken care of while we were away! I would highly recommend them as dog sitters!”

“Jennie and her sweet daughter did such a terrific job making our little Dixie and us comfortable on our first night away. She enjoyed playing with their dog and all the attention. Wonderful experience and I look forward to boarding her again!”

“Our dogs were so well taken care of during their stay with Alyssa. She sent photos and kept us updated on how they were doing each day. Our girls had their own little vacation while we were away. I highly recommend Alyssa, and our pups will be happy to return to their home away from home!”

“Lizzie was great! Very responsive, sent daily updates, and my girls really seem to have enjoyed their time there! This was our first experience with a "stranger" keeping our girls while we traveled and Lizzie really delivered. We've found our person ❤️”

I’ve been trusted by friends, family, and neighbors to care for their pets and homes, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m an active person who loves getting outside, so whether your dog enjoys leisurely neighborhood walks, playing fetch, swimming, hiking local trails, or going on new adventures, I’m happy to match their energy and personality. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments—from laid-back lap dogs to high-energy adventure companions—and I’m committed to making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently available Monday through Friday and have a flexible schedule to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it’s an early morning walk, a midday potty break, an afternoon adventure, or an evening check-in, I’m here to provide dependable, loving care whenever you need it. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, medications (if needed), and any special care to ensure your pet feels comfortable and safe. I live on a large property with plenty of room for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. We also have quiet dirt roads that are perfect for walks. For dogs who love getting out and about, I’m happy to visit local parks and trails like Richmond Hill, the River Arts District Greenway, Bent Creek, and other areas throughout North and West Asheville—always with your permission and only if it’s a good fit for your dog’s personality and activity level. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, active, and well cared for.
“Jennie and Craig watched our Aussie for 5 nights while we went on a family trip and they were just amazing from the moment of our meet and greet. I really appreciate how they introduce dogs to their home and other dogs as our dog can sometimes be anxious. They let him sniff around the backyard on his own before bringing out her dog and eased into it. He loved being in their care and with few other furry friends to run around and play ball with in their backyard. We look forward to having them watch Theo again soon!”

“Jen was wonderful. Went out of her way to make sure the dog would be safe and happy. Bought her a toy, walked her a bunch and sent her home happy and worn out from playing. She was a lovely person, easy to correspond with, and took great care of Flora. Thank you, Jen!”

“Katie and Jeremy were wonderful, loving, and accommodating sitters. They sent photos of my dog every day and it warmed my heart to see that Maggie was happy and healthy. I would highly, highly recommended Katie and Jeremy to anyone.”

“This was the second time I’ve had Eliza take care of my kitties; she is the absolute best! Very thorough, communicative, and she makes sure to take a lot of pictures at each drop in. One of my cats got trapped in the bathroom on the first day of my trip and went wild; Eliza cleaned everything up and was so gracious about it! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a conscientious and thoughtful sitter. Thank you, Eliza!”

“Sam was fantastic! Communicative and kind, felt very comfortable having her in my home to care for my baby. She seems like a person that really genuinely try’s to bond and love your animal while you’re away- the ideal pet sitter. 5 stars all the way! ✨✨✨✨✨”

“Bali did a great job with Georgie. She made sure to reach out with any questions and sent some of the most beautiful pictures of him and their play time. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Jennie is absolutely wonderful! She is so thorough with every visit and her communication is incredible. She gives the most detailed summaries and tons of photos along with them. She is so flexible and even went the extra mile to help us navigate getting home safely during the storm. I’d choose her again and again to care for my babies.”

“I can’t recommend Alex enough!! He was communicative, kind, took so many great photos of our cats during every drop in visit and we appreciated the flexibility when our travel plans were delayed. He went above and beyond and anyone would be lucky to have him watching their fur babies 💖”

“Danae was wonderful! She took great care of my kitties, and I could tell they were happy and well looked after. She sent such sweet photos and followed all of my instructions perfectly. My home was left very neat, and I will definitely be rebooking with her.”

“Shannon is great with Bella, communicates well and is reliable! While I was traveling she sent an update each day to let me know how Bella was doing. I came home to a happy cat, fresh food and water in her bowls and a clean litter box. Thank you again!”

“We have booked with Alexis multiple times; she is very conscientious and we come home to happy kitties. Alexis remembers the details of caring for the kitties, ask questions, and everything is in order when we get home.”

“Katherine was phenomenal as a sitter for our three cats. It was our first time employing Rover and Katherine as our sitter. She was very thorough with the routine, she was very communicative and our cats really enjoyed spending time with her. She played with them a lot and sent us fun pictures and videos. We did not worry about our babies at all…and we are big worriers. I HIGHLY recommend Katherine and will happily have her take care of our kitties again. I’d say she went over and beyond the call of duty!”

“Lilie was amazing! She sent pictures of Welsey and went over the top with comminication. 10/10 would recommend and will be reaching out to her again in the furture.”

“I highly recommend Ana! I’m new to the area and needed someone I could trust to care for my shy cat, Littles, while I was out of state for nine days. He was still adjusting to our recent move and had been stressed by water intrusion issues and all the maintenance visits that followed. Ana was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and set up a meet-and-greet right away. Littles spent most of that first visit hiding behind the couch, but she was patient and determined to win him over. She sent daily photos and updates, and even checked my apartment for water leaks during heavy rain, which gave me so much peace of mind. Within a few days, Littles was curled up in Ana’s lap enjoying all the pets. When I got home, he was relaxed, eating well, and clearly had been well cared for. I’ll definitely be booking Ana again for my September trip and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, dependable pet sitter.”

“Kaysee had great communication with me despite me being out of service most of the time. I was also able to add a day at the last minute. Thanks for looking out for Lucky so well.”

“Grayson is amazing. I recently adopted a Great Dane who had a rough start to life and need someone who can help me show him how kind people can be. Grayson is the perfect person for this. Even when my dog jumps on him, he just laughs like he's never been happier. I feel so lucky to have him to look after my pup while I'm at work.”

About: I adore cats and have experience with ones who want absolutely no contact other than being fed and watered as well as cuddly babies who love to play! I am very familiar with animal behavior and strive to learn any animal's unique boundaries.
“I know Levon works mostly with dogs and I was very happy he was available on short notice (I had another rover sitter cancel within a week of my trip) to watch my sweet Anna. She can be shy and she was comfortable with Levon and he was able to give her the medication she needs. He was responsive and kept me updated. I would book with him again!”

“Liney has a great day with Kristen! We were traveling and staying a few nights in Asheville. We wanted to spend the day at Biltmore- dog free- and everything worked out perfectly! It is obvious Kristen is a dog lover and all around good person. ?”

“Alexis is great- welcoming, and friendly. Upon meeting her you can immediately tell she enjoys living on her small farm and taking care of animals. We felt very comfortable with our dog hanging out with her. Good communicator. Highly recommend.”

“Alyssa was absolutely amazing with my pup, Biggie! She took care of him while my family and I went to the Biltmore and out to dinner, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. She sent so many pictures and videos throughout the time he was with her, which made me feel so comfortable and reassured. She was incredibly accommodating, and it was clear from the moment we picked him up that he had the best time! Biggie went straight to sleep when we got home, which tells me he was happy, loved, and well played with. Alyssa and her family treated Biggie like one of their own, and it truly meant so much to me. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and loving sitter. We will absolutely be booking with her again whenever we visit!!”
“Our dog Mint came to us as an adult rescue with a tender heart and big separation anxiety. She trembles and cries to ride in a car, uncertain where she’s being taken. On her third visit with Brody, as soon as we turned into his driveway she quieted and started wagging. As I drove away, the rearview mirror showed her dancing around his legs and eagerly running to his front door. Priceless peace of mind!”

Jen sent photos and messaged We hope to return and will contact Jen!! We highly recommend her!! 🍃🏆🩷🐾😀”

“Jennie & Craig were wonderful hosts for Willie!! He had a super fun time playing in their fenced-in yard with their dogs. The location was perfect and J&C were very accommodating. Willie has been sleeping since we arrived back home!! Thank you for giving Willie a wonderful morning of fun!”

“April is such an incredible sitter! Our puppy Benny had an absolute blast at daycare! Dewey the pug and him got along so well! We are so grateful to have them as our first pet sitters!”

“Gabriel was fantastic: on time, great attitude, super friendly, a real pro. Our pup Jack liked him immediately and he made Jack feel at ease, which is not easy to do because he is nervous when we leave him. So glad Gabe jumped in at the last minute to help us out while we were on a quick trip out of town. He came to our hotel room and stayed for a few hours while we were at a concert.”

“Ann & Jaren took such great care of my Lottie girl when I was on vacation to NYC! They kept me up to date with lots of pictures; being that this was the first time we were apart for this long, I really appreciated the photos and care she received. She was in great hands and I 100% will be using them in the future! Thanks again 😊”

About: I’ve loved dogs for forever and am happy to share my space and love with yours as long as they are house trained and respectful of my rescue hound. I have a big fenced in yard, work from home, and walk my dog daily (often on hiking trails). Happy to give your dog the same care and attention! Layla has a button she presses when she wants to go outside, I’m working on teaching her the command “shut the door” :) would love to work on training for fun with your dog too! There is plenty of room for crates (if you prefer) & to separate them during feeding time. Dogs are welcome on my furniture including my bed.
“Finally found a great dog sitter in the area 😃 Richard is great with dogs. First time to book with him and our Lokee just chilled with his pack. He replies fast and easy to coordinate with the schedule. We will definitely book again.”

“Paul and his fiancé were amazing with our boy, Ezra. As my service dog, he is always with me. There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. I would definitely reach out to Paul as a pet sitter should the need arise the next time we visit beautiful North Carolina! Thank you both for taking such good care of our Ezra. We truly appreciate all you did to help him adjust and feel comfortable, confident and happy!!! :)”

“Kaitlyn is a wonderful dog sitter. She sent pictures that showed Abby in various activities throughout the day. It was obvious that Abby enjoyed her time with Kaitlyn, her dog and daughter. She was extremely flexible on the drop-off and pick-up times. This was our first time to use her and she will be our first choice in future bookings. Thank you, Kaitlyn!!”

About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Cheeto, a foster Redbone Coonhound who loves other dogs, as well as my new puppy!

“Alex is highly recommended by us and our dog, Duncan. Before finding Alex, we have never trusted the care of our dog or house to anyone. We can’t tell you how thankful we are for finding Alex!”

About: My goal is to create your pets best “play-cation”. While you enjoy the adventures of your life, I provide a safe and comfortable space for your pet to enjoy theirs too! Animals have been apart of my life from the start. I’ve lived with (big) dogs all my life. Both of my dogs have dealt with health issues so from a very young age I was learning how to take special care of my dogs, giving them medication and special treatment. By the age of 10, I was so excited to volunteer pet sitting for family, friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities by working at a dog boarding/ day care. I would supervise groups of 10 dogs at a time, maintaining a safe and playful environment. My love for our 4-legged friends is forever growing. I have a passion for sharing my love with every pet that I meet. I try to give my pup the best life that I can and I hope to do the same for many others! I’m currently working a part time job so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My schedule is flexible for both day time and overnight. I value incorporating exercise and adventure into my daily life and I would love to bring your pet along with me! Safety in the comfort of your home: I provide dog walks in your neighborhood and longer trail walks if desired. I always keep dogs leashed for safety while encouraging as much play at possible. Safety in the warmth of my home: I have a very sweet and cozy space. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a long leash for potty breaks and I live in a great neighborhood where I walk dogs regularly. I love taking pups on field trips to hikes near by and of course always enjoy cozy cuddle time. I am comfortable following any feeding or medication needs as directed. I am happy to do a meet and greet before sitting to make sure that we’re the best fit for each other.

“So happy to have found Sarah and her sweet family. Lincoln stays with ease and seems right at home in their environment. The backyard for Lincoln is an extra plus.”

“Jacqueline and Sammy took great care of our two dogs while we were on vacation. We received daily updates and many pictures, and our girls were well loved and taken care of while we were away! I would highly recommend them as dog sitters!”

“Katie and Jeremy were wonderful, loving, and accommodating sitters. They sent photos of my dog every day and it warmed my heart to see that Maggie was happy and healthy. I would highly, highly recommended Katie and Jeremy to anyone.”

“Allison was great with Kevin and made us feel at ease on our vacation. She sent daily updates with pictures and details about their day, and made him feel right at home. I’d highly recommend her and will use her in the future!”

“Kyle was great! My sweet girl Hope is very shy, but Kyle gave me assurance that she would be well taken care of and she was. She came out of her shell and even play with their dog Lou. I highly recommend her and will use her services in the future. Thanks again Kyle, Randy and Lou!”

“Ethan & Hope were fantastic with our dog. They are such sweet people and you can tell they really care about all the animals they watch. We will definitely bring Roux back in the future!”

“Absolutely THE BEST pet sitter we have ever had! James (& Aimee) kept our fur babies, one dog and one cat, and we did not worry one time our whole trip. They sent several pictures and updates, & we could tell they were loved and protected. Our dog was so happy when we arrived; she had to show us her “vacation” house! ?She bonded with their girls also. Our cat was well-behaved but anxious around new animals, so James (& Aimee) accommodated him by giving him his own playroom! He was thrilled to sit in the window and watch the birds & butterflies. Our pet heroes adhered to both animals’ strict diet and feeding instructions ordered by our vet. Overall, everyone had a wonderful trip, and we will use them again. If we could give James (& Aimee) 10 stars, we would. We highly recommend them!”

“Kristin & Seth have always been great with my pup. This past trip, they were totally flexible when I faced flight cancellations and a two-day delay getting back to pick her up. I appreciate y’all very much!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Giuliana stayed at our house for a full week and took such wonderful care of our two dogs. She was incredibly patient and thoughtful, even sleeping on the couch the first few nights to help our shy dog feel comfortable and get used to her being there. She took great care of our home as well—it was spotless and just as we left it. She even left a special cookie for each of our dogs at the end, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. Most importantly, we never had to worry while we were away. We came home to happy, well-cared for pets and a clean house. We would absolutely recommend her and would love to have her sit for us again!”

“Shadow can sometimes have a hard time with separation anxiety but he loves being at Calvin’s. He runs to the door and doesn’t look back. It gives us such peace of mind knowing that he is in the best hands while we are away. We have used Calvin multiple times over the last few months and we will definitely be using his services for our next trips as well. He sends plenty of pictures, takes him on lots of walks and even has his own treats to give Shadow.”

“You'll notice multiple reviews from me and this is why: I trust and appreciate Chanelle - and cannot recommend her enough. She takes care of your pet as her own. She supports you as their owner because she has been a pet owner herself. She is wonderful.”

“Michelle was very communicative and responded quickly. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She sent photos of the adventures and fun things my dog was doing with the family. Michelle was flexible with drop off and pick up. She even sent home some homemade treats. My anxious dog seemed very comfortable with her stay and I will definitely use Michelle again in the future!”
