About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. Today, I share my life with Bailey Love, my 5½-year-old rescue pup and adventure buddy. We spend lots of time exploring the trails and woods around Asheville, and it's where he's happiest. Bailey is friendly, well-trained, and loves making new friends...both human and canine. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply curling up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I treat every dog as family and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. About: Hi, I’m Liz! I’ve cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life and began pet sitting in my neighborhood 20 years ago. Growing up with dogs, cats, and pocket pets, I gained hands-on experience with critters of all ages and sizes, from sibling rats to senior cats to a 90-pound lap dog. One of my earliest pet-sitting jobs involved caring for three dogs and three cats for a month while their humans were in Australia. Most recently, my partner, Logan, and I fostered a nursing mum dog and her seven newborn puppies for eight weeks through Asheville Humane Society. “Alex was absolutely wonderful! He came out to meet the cats beforehand and really listened to all of the information and spent time getting to know the kitties. He also read through and followed my written directions which are pretty extensive. He has top notch written communication skills. I generally got a several paragraph update on the cats each day, long with lots of daily pictures, and the info he sent was always very understandable and thorough. Alex couldn’t do mornings, so I had other people filling in. One of them accidentally locked the cat in a room that was supposed to be kept closed. Alex noticed, even though this particular cat will not come out to see anyone ever, and expressed his concern to me That he didn’t notice her food was being eaten. He then spent quite a while searching for the cat and managed to find her, and carry her out, even though she was really scared. He cleaned up the mess she made, and she must’ve been pretty happy with him because he saw her every day after that. He even left notes for the other sitters as needed if things were not going well. He took care of plants and many other things on top of that, and the house was clean and spotless, with pictures of the water bowl, litter boxes, and food dishes every day. I feel totally comfortable leaving my cats in his care anytime!”

There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard or inside for 4-5 hours per day. Although we love all pets, please don’t book with us if your animal needs constant supervision. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive or prey-driven dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

I have amateur dog training experience and by request, I can support your dog's training needs while I am looking out for them. No charge! I currently work full time from home so it is very easy for me to be attentive and look after your furry loved one in addition to my own 6 month old blue heeler who is very sweet and friendly with other dogs. My home is tucked away in a safe location with a lot of space away from busy roads. I live on 10 acres of wooded land and several trails that loop the entire property that allows for a lot of sniffing opportunities, playtime in nature, and staying in a safe environment throughout the day.

I make sure pets are safe and comfortable in their environment. Check water, food, litter. I keep owners updated of how their pets are doing.

About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. About: Hi, I’m Liz! I’ve cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life and began pet sitting in my neighborhood 20 years ago. Growing up with dogs, cats, and pocket pets, I gained hands-on experience with critters of all ages and sizes, from sibling rats to senior cats to a 90-pound lap dog. One of my earliest pet-sitting jobs involved caring for three dogs and three cats for a month while their humans were in Australia. Most recently, my partner, Logan, and I fostered a nursing mum dog and her seven newborn puppies for eight weeks through Asheville Humane Society. That experience included round-the-clock puppy care, oral medication, weaning, training, socialization, and helping eight dogs safely share a home with our resident cat, Helly! Logan and I both work from home and genuinely enjoy having animals around, whether that means exploring outside or simply providing a cozy place to nap nearby. With compassion and patience, we love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and favorite things so they can feel comfortable and at home with us. My partner and I both work from home, so pets fit naturally into our daily routine and are rarely without company. We’re homebodies who genuinely enjoy having animals around, with plenty of time throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, leisurely walks, meals, snuggles, and naps.
