About: Hi there! My name’s Rachael, and I’d love the chance to care for your pets like they’re my own. I’m a proud dog mom to two sweet girls, Halo and Ash, who keep my days full of love, laughter, and adventure. And I have recently become a proud cat mom as well, with my two goofy boys Barnabus, and Bandit who are me two angels. I grew up with German Shepherds, so I’ve been around dogs of all sizes my whole life and feel right at home with everything from the tiniest lap pups to extra-large gentle giants. I also have hands-on training experience and am certified through Brother Wolf, where I volunteered and completed all of their training classes. Because of that, I’m comfortable not only caring for pets but also understanding their needs, personalities, and quirks. Beyond dogs, I truly enjoy spending time with all kinds of animals—cats, geckos, lizards, snakes, turtles, and even fish. I believe every animal has a pure little soul, and it’s such a joy to connect with them. In my free time, you can usually find me curled up in bed with my pups for snuggles or out exploring on walks and adventures with them. Caring for animals is something that brings me so much happiness, and I’d be honored to bring that same care, patience, and love to yours. I am working full time managing a local moving company, but a lot of my job is conducted remotely so I have open availability to spend quality time with your furry (or scaly) family member(s). I spend my free time with my 4 fur babies Ash, Halo,Bandit and Barnabus. I would love to either show your babies the same love and care in the comfort of your own home, or mine! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a calm, secure environment where pets feel loved and cared for. For dogs, I have a fully fenced-in side and back yard, perfect for safe outdoor play and exercise. For cats, I create a quiet, cozy space where they can feel at ease, get plenty of affection, and enjoy their usual routines. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and personality, making sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free.
“Jennie and Craig graciously agreed to take our dog, Jetson, on very short notice. They are extremely kind and hospitable, even after Jetson summarily relieved himself on their Christmas tree. 🙄 That was horrifying. They have a huge fenced back yard and their golden retriever was the sweetest thing ever!! So cuddly and sweet!!! I cannot recommend Jennie and Craig highly enough. You can't ask for a better home away from home for your pup.”

“Paul and his fiancé were amazing with our boy, Ezra. As my service dog, he is always with me. There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. I would definitely reach out to Paul as a pet sitter should the need arise the next time we visit beautiful North Carolina! Thank you both for taking such good care of our Ezra. We truly appreciate all you did to help him adjust and feel comfortable, confident and happy!!! :)”

“Stephanie was very sweet and patient with my baby and I am so appreciative. She sent me updates throughout the day which I enjoyed. She was accommodating to my hectic schedule.”

About: I have been in a house with dogs and cats since I was a baby - quickly developing an connection to dogs and all that they can offer in terms of friendship and support. I am a highly conscientiousness person who works from home and therefore always available. I have raised my current dog from 8 weeks and have been apart of all of his development. I am patient with my animals, allowing them to fully form into their most healthy state through a combination of freedom and boundaries. I am working full time from my house so there is an immense amount of flexibility for any dog that visits my home. I have 1 acre of space with a large section that is fenced in. My schedule is completely flexible so I can be very attentive to whatever needs my animals have. Their routine and comfort is my focus while fitting my work in around that. My dog has freedom in our fenced in yard, enjoying the sun and lounging on either the front or back porch when he chooses to. He also enjoys off lease time in the wider acre as well as forest walks on the trail. My home is very dog friendly and accommodating with various places to rest and spread out. The area is safe and secure on a dead end road that backs up onto national forest. The dogs stay on a routine of walks, play, and naps.
“John and his wife did a great job keeping an eye on my senior dog. They personalized the days activities and walks for his needs and sent me a photo update to let me know he was settled in.”

About: Hello! I just lost my dear 15 year old pup and am reopening my Dog sitting to love on some fuzzy babies. I have a lovely fenced in backyard, a back deck with a door into the house frequently left open (Note - 13ish stairs to get down to yard area in case thats an issue). Cozy interior with toys, soft rugs, couches and toys. I just lost my 15 year old English Pinter, Henry in April. we’d been thru the ringer of medical issues we're familiar with finicky health issues. Preferred older dogs, but can handle pup energy for short while. Will also take pups on runs if up for it! I work from home, so any pup staying with me wouldn't be left alone for longer than (rareeely) 4-5 hours. I've dog proofed my space and provided a large backyard they can run out to for most of the day. My house is a place where dogs are always welcome, meaning ive figured out most of the things that cause issues when a new dog occupies the space. I also have several vet friends, and know when most issues need to be escalated. And when in doubt, i call my mom (ahorse woman with manyyy vet friends).
About: Hi there! I'm Megan - remote worker, mom of a teenage boy and dog mom of a rescued pup, and all-around animal lover. My love for animals started during childhood growing up with lots of cats and dogs to take care of and love. I've been known to have brought one (or maybe five) furry friends home back in my high school days. Back in 2020, I began fostering through a couple of great programs in WNC. I have fostered several puppies and adult dogs over the past four years, and it has grew my experience tremendously! It also led me to my own rescue fur baby, Millie. I work from home and can provide an established routine for your pets that would include regular walks, playtime, companionship, and scheduled feedings/bathroom breaks. Working with rescues especially, I understand it can be scary for some pets to be separated from their family and in unfamiliar environments. My goal with every animal is to make sure they feel loved, safe, and comfortable in our home. If you would like to schedule a meet & greet to make sure we're a good fit and your pet will have a comfortable stay, please reach out! Feel free to call, text, or email if you have any questions and I look forward to hearing from you soon! I work from home Monday through Friday during the day. I am available most weekends and would not be away from home for more than 4 hours to ensure your pet stays on a routine schedule and needs are cared for. My home is less than 15 minutes outside of Asheville with a fenced-in dog park only five minutes away. I provide daily walks and have a gated front porch for fresh air during the day. I went a little crazy on my BarkBox subscriptions and there are chew toys and stuffed animals galore! My dog, Millie, also enjoys having furry friends over to play with. If needed, she can be kept separate and feeding/bathroom breaks would be on rotation. I have a large crate if needed as well. Pets will not be left unsupervised together at any point. I want your pet to feel at home and comfortable at all times. As the pet parent, I want you to feel comfortable as well. You may call or text anytime and I can send pictures throughout their stay.

“Oxana is an amazing sitter. I highly recommend her after she watched our Aussie boy Tom for the day. She's so friendly, knows animals very well, and has obvious experiwnce along with her own two pups Bella and Hooch who were both so nice. She kept us notified and sent photos throughout the day. Tom made friends with Bella and Hooch and was welcomed right in. We think he was dreaming about his fun day on the way home. Thanks Oxana for talking such good care of our baby! We plan to book again in the future :)”
