“I cannot recommend Savanah highly enough. She was exceptional. From our first meet and greet I knew my cat was in the best possible hands. This was my first experience with a drop in. We had great communication. She took great care with everything I asked. I would not hesitate to recommend her for her services, and I will not hesitate to look for her again when I need her services.”

“Lilie was amazing! She sent pictures of Welsey and went over the top with comminication. 10/10 would recommend and will be reaching out to her again in the furture.”

About: Ive owned dogs since a child..Basset Hound. Doberman, Pugs (I used to foster pugs in Dallas and adopted 4 at one point), Boston Terrier, Mixed breeds and love them all. Ive currently got a Beagle mix that I adopted 12 yrs ago "Jaz". Pet sitting has mostly been friends pets and since I'm new to the area, looking to get out of Corporate and thought this would be great time to spend with fur babies. I’m currently building an art-focused business and have a flexible schedule that works well for house sitting and pet care. I’m available for early morning walks and feedings, as well as afternoon check-ins, playtime and walks. I enjoy creating a steady routine that keeps your pet happy and comfortable throughout the day. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar space. I keep dogs on leash anytime we are outside unless we are in a securely fenced yard or an approved off-leash area. I follow your rules around food and only give their regular meals and treats. My priority is keeping your pet safe, comfortable and happy.

“Giuliana was so attentive to our little Frankie while we were out of town. She was super responsive and just easy to work with. It was my first time using rover and I’m glad we chose Giuliana. I highly Recommend if you’re looking for someone who is flexible and easy to communicate with!”

“Lyndsi was absolutely amazing with our senior cat and kitten who needed daily medicine. Our senior is shy but warmed right up to her. The detailed updates and numerous photos helped keep my worries away. She even left the cutest drawing of our kitties. I will always book with Lyndsi!”

About: I have been looking after animals my entire life. I watched pets for neighbors growing up, walking, feeding and administering medicine. I have looked after dogs and cats for friends whenever they go out of town. I currently work weekday mornings, and two days a week I also work afternoons. My morning shifts are 6 hours, so I will have time to check on your fur babies early in the morning, and again around 2pm most days, or until 6pm the other two days. I’m free all day saturdays and sundays! I will follow whatever instructions you leave for me regarding how you’d like me to care for your pet while you’re away. I can administer medicine if necessary, and will give lots of love no matter what!

“She is very communicative and prompt, consistent and thorough. I have cameras so I got to see how much my dogs loved her. So reliable and I’m grateful she could keep my dogs safe and happy!”

“Kaysee and her fiancé are nothing short of amazing. My cat was completely comfortable and was treated with the upmost care and love. They are very professional and detail oriented and will send you tons of pictures and updates on your pet. Your fur baby is in good hands with these two!”

About: I have had animals my entire life, and I love them all! I can take dogs on an adventure, or enjoy a quick stroll around the neighborhood, depending on their needs. I want them to feel safe and comfortable with me! I have more availability over the weekends, but am happy to chat about care during the week to see if it is the right fit I treat your dogs like they are my own - they are welcome to snuggle on the furniture and be comfortable. I have a dog park in my neighborhood to provide time off leash and for play.
“James was great with my wild boys. I needed someone last min and he was on it! He's attentive, communicative, warm and put my dogs at ease. Glad to have found him and will use his services again.”

About: I'm that go to friend that everyone always asks to love on their pets while they are busy or out of town. I've had all sorts of pets in my life too. No requests to weird. I love to send selfies of your furbabies so you know they are safe and happy. I live in west Asheville and am able to travel to close towns. I have taken care of the special needs of animals I cared for. Pills and special food is all good. I do require a meet up drop in visit before we book a stay. I want to meet you and your pet in their own home and learn about their particular needs. This is so we both feel that your fur baby is being cared for the way they are used to. Less stress for pets and pet parents this way. I do work outside of pet sitting, but still have free time for pets. Im available for overnight stays as well. I will treat your home as I would my own. And yes I can bring in the mail(or packages) for you too. I appreciate written care instructions. That way if there is ever an emergency I can take the best possible care of your pet in a timely manner. LGBTQ+ friendly (obviously lol)
“Autumn was so helpful in watching Millie last minute over the holidays. She was dependable and thorough with each drop in visit sending a picture and report card. Millie also loved her! We will definitely be using her again.”

About: I have grown up with animals of all shapes and sizes. And have professionally pet sat under a licensed & insured LLC I owned for several years before dissolving it to focus on my career in nursing. I have 2 mini Aussie pups myself, Biscuit & Gravy! Who’d love to have friends come visit to play :) I work as a labor & delivery nurse 3-days a week! And enjoy having things to breakup my schedule; like spending time with furry friends :) I live in a spacious 2/2 apartment & my complex has a large dog park. I also promise to treat your home like my own if I am staying with your furry friend(s)
“Eileen was great. She came last min to meet and cat Jax’s before I went out of town and made me feel super comfortable. Sent her pictures everyday and Jax’s always looked comfortable and happy. Eileen provides such a peace of plan while I was away with her daily communication and was also quick to reply when I reached out. I highly recommend her”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
