I specialize in bigger breeds as I would dog sit for a neighbor that had 2 large Bulldogs and I used to have a very large German Shepherd/Greyhound mix of my own. About: I am a lifelong animal lover who will care about and adore your pets as if they are my own. I have lived with dogs and cats, plus the occasional fish, bird, or Guinea pig, since I was born, so I’ve been taking care of them since I was a small child. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets and keep them safe, as well as to provide oral medications and keep skittish, anxious, or previously traumatized pets calm during storms, fireworks, or separation anxiety. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Luke! He is truly a dog person who goes above and beyond. From the very beginning, he’s been incredibly patient, attentive, and caring with my dog Lobo who generally prefers women over men. But my dog has easily and quickly adjusted to Luke’s visits. What really stands out to me is his ability to read dog behavior and understand what they’re communicating. He takes time to meet them where they are, respect their personality, and boundaries and never rushes him. Having Luke come by and seeing how he’s been with Lobo has been such a relief to me while I’m at work. And when I say he goes above and beyond….. he even rolled my garbage can in after he knew I had a long day of work and was coming home in a rainstorm. I honestly can’t recommend Luke enough. I’m truly grateful to have him to care for my dog! 🐾❤️

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
