About: I've taken care of many dogs, cats, fish, and even the occasional bird. I had my own pet sitting side business while I was in college in Tampa and have missed I ever since I moved!! I am currently looking to switch careers so my appointment book will be pretty open in the near future. I'd love for this to develop into my full time job. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child. I have a deep love for all animals and do my best to give them all the care and attention they deserve. My schedule is flexible, so I available any day od the week. I work full time, but I am able to still meet the needs of most pets pretty well! I make sure to provide my animals with ample playtime and stimulation. I always clean up after them properly and keep anything that may be a threat to their health out of sight and out of mind!
About: Dogs want to feel like their routine and comfort are not in jeopardy when their people are away. That is my goal, to decrease separation anxiety and stress by keeping the routine, lots of snuggles and exercise. Each dog has a a unique personality and set of needs. I deliberated for quite a while on a sitter for my guinea pigs and am so glad I chose Julie! I have one outgoing piggie and one shy piggie yet both my guys were comfortable with Julie right away. That made a big impression on me! Both my boys seemed happy and relaxed upon my return. I appreciated how Julie did a great job following the pig care directions I left. Everything was neat and tidy when I arrived home (piggie care can be messy!) and she even washed out my recyclable bags that hold my guinea pig vegetables and hung them to dry. A sweet little bouquet of hand picked flowers greeted me upon my return. What a great first experience with using Rover!
I honestly can’t say enough good things about Luke! He is truly a dog person who goes above and beyond. From the very beginning, he’s been incredibly patient, attentive, and caring with my dog Lobo who generally prefers women over men. But my dog has easily and quickly adjusted to Luke’s visits. What really stands out to me is his ability to read dog behavior and understand what they’re communicating. He takes time to meet them where they are, respect their personality, and boundaries and never rushes him. Having Luke come by and seeing how he’s been with Lobo has been such a relief to me while I’m at work. And when I say he goes above and beyond….. he even rolled my garbage can in after he knew I had a long day of work and was coming home in a rainstorm. I honestly can’t recommend Luke enough. I’m truly grateful to have him to care for my dog! 🐾❤️

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
