About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, ranging from boxers, doodles, mini schnauzers, King Charles cavaliers, and spaniels. I understand all animals have their own little quirks and preferences! I’m detail oriented and happy to follow instructions to care for your babies and your home like I would my own. She sends detailed messages after visits with thorough updates and sends several pictures of our cat, which is a big comfort for us when we’re far from home. During the flooding from Hurricane Helene, we had to cancel our last visit with her since family came to rescue Steve before the floods got bad. Susan kindly adjusted our last visit and took it off our booking, even though we didn’t ask her to and intended to pay her for that last visit for her time. When cell service came back, Susan sent us an update about how our home and yard looked and gave us an update on driving conditions in the area. In addition, I have an 16yr old cat and experience with fostering kittens. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. What really stands out to me is his ability to read dog behavior and understand what they’re communicating. He takes time to meet them where they are, respect their personality, and boundaries and never rushes him. Having Luke come by and seeing how he’s been with Lobo has been such a relief to me while I’m at work.
