About: I just lost my dog of 12 years. I'm not ready for another yet. Until I would l to help you with extra love for yours! ♡ I work 7 to 5, Monday through Friday. 10 HOURS PER DAY, I MAY NOT be a good fit everyone on weekdays! However, I would be available to help you with walking from 5pm to 7pm on weekdays, and we could talk about weekends! I live in downtown Hendersonville and do the Ecusta Trail quite often, if you are near I would love to help! I would prefer to come to your home to help with your dog! But if we vibe well, I have a home set up for a dog, with a fenced in yard and a doggie door!

I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.
“She is a godsend! I have an older very timid dog that really struggles with new people. I honestly was worried that she wouldn’t go outside with the first visit when I wasn’t home. Within two days she she was totally OK with being around Jennie! Jennie has also been so kind to her and mindful, for instance, it was really hot today so she kept her in the grass instead of the pavement. She sits with her even when she’s done with the walk. I could not have asked for a better human to watch my pup! I have her on repeat for drop ins 3x every week while I’m at work and will continue to do so!”

About: My girls and I are genuine pet lovers - I have enjoyed animals all my life, always having dogs and working as an animal control officer for a police department for four years before staying home with my kids. My middle school aged girls spend much of their time playing with our dogs and cat, visiting the neighboring farm animals, learning about animals, and seeking opportunities to interact with animals of varying kinds. We are a homeschooling family with a flexible schedule; we are reliable, on-time, and have a strong work ethic. We enjoy the opportunity to love on pets and spend quality time with them when their owners are away. We successfully boarded dogs in our home in Arizona through Rover for two years. We have experience caring for dogs, walking them and providing for their needs. We also fostered puppies for a year and worked with them through potty training and basic obedience. We love puppies! We offer basic dog grooming in the clients home for an additional fee which includes brushing, a nail trim and a bath. We would love to have your dog squeaky clean for you when you get home! As a homeschooling family we have a flexible schedule that allows us to check on animals at various times during the day. We can make mornings, afternoons or evenings work depending on your pet’s needs. When we drop in to check on your pet(s) we will carefully follow all directions provided to give them the best care possible. We will provide love and attention, set out food and replenish water, administer any medications, check to make sure they are well and happy and that nothing looks awry with their environment. We enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them inside the house or in the yard. We clean litter boxes and provide any other care needed for each animal. We offer basic dog grooming in the clients home for an additional fee.

Lacie was so amazing during her drop-in visits with our cat! He requires twice-daily medication and she went above and beyond each visit to make sure he was well-cared for, happy, and healthy! We knew he was in great hands with Lacie, and her detailed entries and photographs at each check-in kept us up to date with how he was doing! I can’t say enough good things about Lacie and would definitely book her again!
Jennifer did a great job this time taking care of Madeleine the kitten and also Caly, the dog. She had to walk Caly this time and she sent photos and notes. I will definitely be using her again as she follows all directions and seems to love all animals. What a jewel!!!!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
