“Lacie is a Super Sitter! She watched our Dude(kitty) for a week and she went so far above and beyond. She took our trash out to the curb on trash day when she noticed our neighbors setting their containers out. She kept the kitty litter area clean and my utility room vacuumed. She also vacuumed the kitchen. She took care of my plants. All of these things on top of the most excellent care of Dude. She was in contact with me anytime she had a question. “She is a godsend! I have an older very timid dog that really struggles with new people. I honestly was worried that she wouldn’t go outside with the first visit when I wasn’t home. Within two days she she was totally OK with being around Jennie! Jennie has also been so kind to her and mindful, for instance, it was really hot today so she kept her in the grass instead of the pavement. She sits with her even when she’s done with the walk. I could not have asked for a better human to watch my pup! I have her on repeat for drop ins 3x every week while I’m at work and will continue to do so!”
About: Growing up I always had pets; dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, fish and have always been an animal lover. Two kids later, potty training another living thing is not a priority but I cant resist tail wags and couch snuggles whenever I’m around animals. I am very active and would love to be the person to help get the zoomies out of your doggo or check in on other furry friends. I have had dogs of my own and have experience with crate training and will help to encourage existing basic training behaviors. I work remotely full time and am typically an early riser. I have two kids that keep me busy but my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to come over to check in on your fur babies, take them on walks or sit with them for a few hours while I get my work done.

About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.
About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

Abigail is great! She shows up early/on time. She is respectful and kind. She takes time to make sure your pet is well loved on and happy. She follows all directions and is very responsive. She takes great photos and leaves detailed updates. My dog loves her. It was nice to be away and know my baby was taken care of.
Jennifer did a great job this time taking care of Madeleine the kitten and also Caly, the dog. She had to walk Caly this time and she sent photos and notes. I will definitely be using her again as she follows all directions and seems to love all animals. What a jewel!!!!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
